Just stayed here again for a couple of nights, it’s so quiet and peaceful. Cost is £11.50 for 9 hours, pay using the app. We walked into the city centre which takes about 25 minutes, but there is a bus stop 5 mins down the road (number 24 or 29). There is a Waitrose and Boots just down the road too.
We had our van clamped and towed from here as it is a “residential” street and Edinburgh council do not permit overnight camper van sleeping on residential streets. They are getting stricter! Otherwise would have been a good location as close to town and plenty spaces. Agree with others that it’s noisy. I wouldn’t risk it again as an expensive faff to get our van back!
Stayed here multiple times, never had any issues. Nice quiet spot, free on weekends. Opposite the police HQ and up the street from waitrose
Es ist ok für eine Nacht aber laut. Achten Sie auf die doppelten gelben Linien. Dort darf man nur für wenige Minuten stehen bleiben. Das hat mit ein Polizist gesagt
