After all the reviews about van break ins, we chose this spot which was easy and safe. 4 hours was enough to walk up to the Moorish castle and back. Might be pushing it to visit the palace too.
Parking payant le long de la gare de Sintra. Assez bon pour les camping-cars construits par Classe A et Coach, mais nécessite de bonnes compétences de stationnement.
Paid parking along the Sintra railway station. Good enough for A-Class and Coach built motorhomes, but requires good parking skills.
Gebührenpflichtige Parkplätze entlang des Bahnhofs von Sintra. Gut genug für Reisemobile der A-Klasse und von Reisebussen, erfordert aber gute Parkfähigkeiten.

Svenjapia10/06/2025Mit 6,6m Wohnmobil sind wir morgens um 10 gerade so durchgekommen und wir sind da sonst nicht empfindlich. Wirklich eng. Später sind alle Plätze belegt. Eher was für Kastenwägen.

SpeedyGonzaline19/08/2024Unmöglich im August hier einen Parkplatz zu finden. Viele Parkplätze für Busse reserviert. Extremes Chaos in der ganzen Stadt. Wir sind die ganze Stadt abgefahren und haben keinen sicheren Parkplatz gefunden (mit einem VW-Bus, wir können ja eigentlich auf viele Parkplätze). Wir waren extrem motiviert, fahren jetzt aber frustriert weiter.

Excelente lugar para un par de horas. AC de 7 metros pudimos dejarla tranquilos ocupando dos lugares.
gimenells27/03/2024Dormimos una noche, bien, hay ruido de los trenes pero se puede estar. La unica pega, parkimetro limitado a 4h (si piensas dejar el vehiculo mas rato, mejor el parking que hay cerca que pagas al salir)

Un sitio céntrico y seguro para visitar el centro histórico de Sintra Un máximo de estacionamiento de 4horas que son 5€ de 20h a 8.00h gratis Junto a la estación de tren. Ruido constante por la llegada de los trenes mucha gente porque es el acceso al centro histórico
SimonsBart23/10/2023Für Wohnmobile wenig geeignet. Mit 6,5 Meter grade so hingekommen. Parkplätze etwa 5.50 lang. Besser etwas außerhalb parken.

definitely not suitable for larger motorhomes, I'm an experienced driver and the route to the parking area is very narrow with a sharp hair pin bend at one end. I was lucky I got there early because cars park all along the entrance road which would make it near impossible to navigate around the bend if a car was park there

If you arrive early or late you should be able to find parking here. The streets are tight but all of them are small around Sintra. You are right next to the train tracks but this is a very safe area. The train noise dies down at night. It’s a short walk into the town center from here and a lot of restaurants nearby. Make sure to pay for parking as it’s monitored closely.

Calle con coches a ambos lados y la estación del tren justo al lado, por lo que es un sitio bastante ruidoso. Si buscas solo pasar la noche, está el cuartel de GNR en la esquina y parece seguro. La zona es de pago de 8:00 a 20:00 horas y la máquina solo acepta monedas.

Aparcar en Sintra es una locura. No hay sitios donde aparcar, calles muy estrechas y nada seguras, peligros de ramas de árboles, aparcamientos con gálibos bajos, etc… Mejor ir en tren desde Lisboa que con la AC.
