Parking très pratique du fait de sa position en centre ville. Malgré tout assez calme quand nous y étions en semaine.

Wir haben auf dem Parkplatz übernachtet. Es war ruhig. In der Nähe gibt es beim Busparkplatz eine Toilette. Diese war sehr sauber. Es gibt zwar eine Höhenbeschränkung diese ist aber derzeit außer Kraft gesetzt. In der Nähe sind einige Pubs mit Livemusik. Aber Ruhe störenden Lärm hatten wir nicht. Ebenfalls in der Nähe, einen Lidl, der für deutsche Verhältnisse gutes Brot hat.

Parked here overnight without disturbance. Great central location in Clifden.

Perfect for daytime and evenings as free and central and has turnaround space for vans. Car sized parking spaces. Overlooked by residential property so I didn’t spend the night as felt intrusive to do so. Plus the height restriction gate although not currently in use was originally put there for a reason. There are other way nicer wild places around.

Grand parking gratuit pour le jour et la nuit. Au centre de la ville. Calme et pratique. Endroit sûr où nous avons passé la nuit avec d’autres campeurs.

Parking pratique et calme pour une nuit après quelques heures de route sous la pluie, possibilité de s'abriter du vent proche du mur d'entrée. Barrière ouverte également à notre arrivée.

Parking gratuit et facile d’accès. La barrière de hauteur était rangée sur le côté. Pratique pour profiter de Clifden la journée. Accès escalier au fond du parking pour remonter directement dans le village. On recommande :)

I chanced this last night and the height barrier is open! Thurdsay 3rd Oct. Flat enough, free, very close to shops / bars etc. Well lit at night and very quiet. I felt safe as a solo woman. I recommend the parking, but the shower in the Station House Hotel Leisure Centre was naff and a rip off at €5 in my opinion. Still, it was wet and needs must. If you're not desperate, go somewhere else.

Open, It’s Business As Usual!!!! Great place to park very quiet and safe with no problems. Pubs, restaurants and shops within a few minutes walking. Water refill at petrol service stations in the town. Black water toilet discharge at the sanitary facilities ‘Bus Depot’ opposite Station House Hotel on the N 59 road just bring cassette into cubicle with a container of fresh water and flush clean.

Die Höhenbegrenzung war die ganze Nacht offen. Hier standen heute Nacht zwei weitere Camper. Der Parkplatz ist relativ hell beleuchtet, was den ein oder anderen beim Schlafen stören könnte

Mittendrin statt nur dabei! Tagsüber sehr busy, dafür nachts sehr rihig. Am 26.08.24 wurde die Höhenbegrenzung (2m] repariert. Ob diese dann auch geschlossen wurde kann ich nicht sagen, da bereits wieder unterwegs.

Une première nuit passée au calme, en plein centre-ville avec 2 autres camping-cars et 1 van. Quelle surprise en arrivant ce soir de trouver une limite à 2,2m...

We stayed overnight with our family here. 4 other vans. Quiet and no problems. Short walk to main shops. The car park is behind the tourist information centre.

Parking calme, pas top en termes de vues mais ça a fait l’affaire pour une nuit. Toilettes publiques et propres à 2 minutes à pied.

Free car park. Parked here for the day. Close to the centre. Lots of space and other campers. Clifden is nice, quiet and a good size. Would’ve stayed the night but nicer wild spots close by

Pasé una noche tranquila. Al lado de tiendas y pubs. Es difícil para autocaravanas grandes pero con paciencia encontramos nuestro sitio.

Clifden is lovely & well worth a visit. NB: Visited on 14/6/24, there are now signs at the bus depot (mentioned in previous comments) saying no grey or black water disposal.

Great place, right in the town. Just to add: the leisure centre at the Station House Hotel will allow the use of their showers for €5 per person.

Bruyant mais gratuit, facile d'accès pour visiter la ville. Attention les locaux ne sont pas forcément ravis, ce qui est compréhensible, de la présence des camping-cars qui prennent 2 places de stationnement.

Close to town. No facilities but paid to use Station Hotel leisure centre. Station pub filled out water bottles.

Good spot, not too busy. Close to the hotel too, so we took advantage of the toilet facilities with no bother

Very good free parking lot with possibility to stay over night. This weekend it was rather full, since there was some horse event taking place and a lot of cars with horse-trailers took up some parking spaces. Good spot for exploring the town. Church bells indeed very noticable but so is the late night pub right above. Loud music until 1 or 2 in the morning. Other than that, can really recommend!

Very convenient parking for visiting the town, still quite vibrant towards the end of October. Quiet at night.

la cloche sonne à partir de 7h00 le matin, nuit au calme, les 3 places en long conviennent pour un CC de 7m, robinet d'eau disponible en face mais ça ne m'a pas sembler raisonnable d'aller se garer au milieu des bus, donc allers-retour avec jerrican

Parking calme, proche des pubs. Nous n’avons pas trouvé les toilettes mais sinon super ! Je recommande.

Gratuit, idéal pour faire les pubs à pieds, nous avons préféré nous éloigner pour la nuit pour ne pas avoir le bruit du clocher et de la ville.

Parcheggio misto su asfalto non in piano ,ma fattibile . Gli spazi sono disegnati per le autovetture e quindi non fattibili ai motorhome superiori ai 6 metri . Unica possibilità quella di arrivare dopo le 18 e trovare posto nei sei posti in linea a fianco del piccolo canale .

Parking not designed for motorhome, no empty spaces in July during the day.

Busy car park certainly not designed for motorhomes. Pretty tight for anything over 6 meters, although there were other motorhomes there who figured they could squeeze in. Each to their own, but we moved on.

Toller Platz um die Stadt und die Pubs zu erkunden und um eine ruhige Nacht zu verbringen. Der Platz ist kostenlos, liegt mitten in der Stadt. Allerdings sind die meisten Parkplätze leicht abfallend; wir hatten einen der wenigen ebenen Plätze.

nous avons stationné 2 nuits dans ce parking relativement plat. c'est très calme. le parking est au centre ville et proche à pied de magasins, Lidl, Aldi, SuperValu. il y a un point d'eau au parking des cars, trottoir d'en face. La Sky Road en vélo est superbe à faire.

Stayed one night Friday 21/4. Nice quiet spot. 6.5 metre van. Arrived after 6 pm. Left by noon. Close to town. Close to hotel with live entertainment. Lovely restaurants cafes and shops.

Parfait pour visiter la ville. Pas tester la nuit. Le parking est gratuit et il y a une poubelle juste un peu plus haut (en montant les escaliers du côté borne électrique). Quelques places pour les véhicules de 6 m.

We had three very quiet undisturbed nights here. A busy car park during the day but not many cars left at night. Great to explore beautiful Clifden with its many pubs and great walks. Worth walking along the coast path to the boat club - glorious views. Water tap in bus station over the road.

Great park up close to town centre. Spaces are tight though. Our 6m campervan stuck out a little.

Parking gratuito en llano en el centro del pueblo con baños públicos al otro lado de la carretera (gratuitos) ademas de grifo para rellenar deposito de agua (en la estación de buses). Pubs cercanos y tranquilidad a la noche. Aldi/Lidl muy cerca.

Good spot for inner city parking. Usual busy for in town parking (but we were there for the Clifton Arts Festival) - playground just down Main Street near boat lake for kids.

Easy to find spot in this delightful little classy town, lots of great pubs, cafes and restaurants. We arrived in the free car park on Sunday afternoon with plenty of space for our 7m MH, although we needed to park next to public steps, didn’t cause any problems, we also had some noise/music from local pub, but all quite by midnight. Okay for one night and a town definitely not to be missed!

Parking plein à craquer ; plus aucun stationnement libre même la zone payante est encombrée.Nous allons jusqu'au "Clifden boat club" pour trouver de l'espace.A signaler dans Clifden l'excellentissime"walsh's Bakery",les pâtisseries sont légères et succulentes .

As town parking goes this was great (and free) - would recommend lowrey’s bar for a few drinks. And a cycle of the sky road

This is a busy central car park but very quiet for a night. Bright lights, a river running along one side. Very close to town centre. McGraths highly recommended for music and atmosphere. Large barrier but this is bent and locked open.

Pratique! J’ajoute qu’il y a sur la route principale juste au dessus au niveau du parking de bus des WC publiques (50m), ça peut servir…

Ideal spot close to town. Harder for longer vans/motor homes to park. 2 bays are ideal but the rest you would need 2 bays next to each other. Perfect for smaller vehicles. Quiet enough. Church bells ring close by on the hour.

Good spot and only free parking in Cliften. Go up metal steps and Mc Graths pub in front of you.

Stayed for two nights. Bustling little town. Peaceful car park. Height limitation gate still tied open with rope so no issues with height

The height limitation seems to be removed, well the “gate” was open and blocked with a rope when we were there so come and have a look to check if you can park :) it was ok for us and our 3 m height vehicle.
