Very close to two nice pubs but unfortunately the spot is extremely noisy! There were vehicles passing by throughout the night (although infrequent) and from approx 4:30am this became more frequent and too noisy to sleep. Also not the safest to be parked up with vehicles whizzing by, we could feel the van moving especially as there seemed to be a lot of HGV’s going past.
Great spot by the pond, nice and level too. We'd recommend the Boat Inn, a lovely friendly pub with great food and drink. We didn't find it noisy, although obviously it got busier in the morning. We parked on a Saturday
Arrived late, was free parking 6pm-8am. very noisy traffic early morning. ok for 1 night if stuck.
Lovely place to park up for the night, plenty of places to eat and drink, lovely having the pond next to us and a 2 minute walk to public toilet which seemed to be open all night.
