What a stunning location! Road noise during the day but quietens down at night. Was even lucky enough to spot 2 sea otters whilst walking on the beach. Thank you so much Gitte and Peter for providing a beautiful park up.

Thank you to the owners for this lovely site. We sent an email to book and received an answer without any delay. If you have a large MH take the bollard at the side of the gate out using the same code on the lock as you use for the gate.

We've just had a wonderful quiet night and a good sleep in this beautiful location and very much appreciate the owners generosity. We'd love to come back again, hopefully when the rain might stop so we could sit and enjoy this beautiful unspoilt spot all the more. Highly recommended.

Who maintain this little private slice of heaven, with no ask for payment and no facility to give donations, not even a face to face to show gratitude! It’s super quiet, absolutely beautiful, you can lock the gate behind you and be safe and it’s all provided for free. Amazing! Thank you so much!

Vraiment un grand merciiii pour. ce lieu sublime face à la mer dans un écrin de nature. La pelouse à même été tondue quand nous venions d arriver pour que le lieu soit nickel. On a bien envie de poser ses bagages. Dommage nous n.avons pas pu rencontrer les charmants propriétaires pour les remercier.. ils sont comme Nous..des voyageurs

Sehr schöner Platz, sehr nett von den Besitzern gestaltet. Kein Schwimmen oder Baden möglich. Nachts weniger Verkehr. Sehr unkompliziert mit Besitzern. Vielen herzlichen Dank an die beiden für diesen schönen Platz.

Wir sind sehr froh, diesen Platz beim Vorbei fahren anhand des kleinen Schildes am Tor entdeckt zu haben. Wir hatten eine Reifenpanne und waren in der Werkstatt in Durrus. Als wir fertig waren, war es bereits nach 21 Uhr und dennoch antwortete man auf unsere Nachricht und ließ uns auf den 2. freien Stellplatz! Wir waren sehr dankbar für diese spontane Möglichkeit und hatten eine ruhige Nacht!

A great place to stay. Right by the water with a great view and plenty of wildlife. Durras about 20 mins walk away with groceries, pubs and an Italian restaurant. Thanks to Gitte & Peter for making this available.

What an amazing find! Thank you Peter & Gitte for your generosity and kindness. We had no problem getting our 8m motorhome in, though care is needed to avoid the kerbs that demarcate each pitch.

Great place by the sea. Two parking spaces. You must contact the owner first, he is available by WhatsApp. Walking back into town there's a couple of nice pubs.

Traumhafte Lage. Unsere vorherigen Besucher hatten Recht, unkompliziert von Gitte. Man ist einfach nur dankbar. Unserer Gastgeberin ein großes Lob. Die Einfahrt nach Öffnen des Tores war nicht ganz einfach. Der Code wurde uns in einem Anruf zur Verfügung gestellt. Hier fühlt man sich wohl.

what a find this little spot is. room for 2 vans, we were the only ones there. I got lost finding it, lol. it's 200 yards past the Joker Pub on the left-hand side coming from Durrus. We whatsapp the owners and they sent us the gate code. right on the beach with quite a bit of lawn area as well. The gate post can be removed to get big vans in. we are 8m and no problem what so ever. a little gem.

Make sure you ring ahead for this place so he can open the padlocked gates which are right on the roadside, otherwise you’ll miss it altogether.

Très belle petite place privative pour deux véhicules, devant la plage; merci au généreux propriétaire. Mais respectez ses consignes qu’il vous donnera par sms avec le code du cadenas: pas de déchets, pas de vidange des eaux grises, allez aux toilettes dans votre véhicule. Attention à la manœuvre pour rentrer, assistez le conducteur et sécurisez le trafic pendant la manœuvre

A great site, with helpful hosts. Amazing views across Dunmanus Bay. Need to be paid subscriber to Park4Us to access the phone number for the gate code, but well worth it. Park4Night is the best app we use

Schöner ebener Platz mit toller Aussicht, jetzt sogar mit steinernen Tisch und Bank. Vielen Dank für Eure Gastfreundschaft! Achso den Wasserhahn haben wir auch nicht gefunden.

L’emplacement pour 2 camping-car est impeccable. Au bord de l’eau et de la route. Bien aménagé, sans service mais avec joli paysage. Barrière avec cadenas à Numero, pancarte Park4Night, mais pas de numéro de téléphone. Nous sommes donc partis.

Next to the road but quiet at night, there’s a hook in the grass to keep the gate open when entering and leaving, didn’t see that at first, and also I couldn’t find a tap. I called and immediately got a message including the rules and code for the lock. The ground is very even, there are one larger and one smaller place.

Wunderbarer Platz zum Entspannen, Kiesboden, direkt am Wasser, gepflegte Wiese, traumhaft für Mensch und Hund. Der nächste Ort ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Gitte ist am Telefon sehr nett und unkompliziert. Toll, dass es solche Menschen gibt. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Brilliant little private park up, kept beautifully and maintained. overlooking the inlet, and pretty views. Contact the owner by text, and if there is space you will get the details for letting yourself into the gate. absolutely 100% recommended.

La mise a disposition de cet emplacement est fort sympathique. Attention accès difficile pour camping-car de plus de 7 m.

Effectivement super emplacement, d’autant plus qu’il est très difficile de trouver un endroit pour se poser dans ce coin. Malheureusement, nous n’avons pas trouvé le numéro de téléphone à appeler et le cadenas était fermé Dommage !

Wir haben einfach bei Gitte angerufen, um die Verfügbarkeit zu klären. Gitte spricht deutsch und alles lief sehr unkompliziert und perfekt ab. Ein sehr schöner Stellplatz mit Blick auf das Wasser auf einem privaten Grundstück. Die Straße im Hintergrund stört nachts auch nicht. Ein ganz freundliches Pärchen die Gitte und ihr Mann.
