(N41 WF70) Leitrim Village - Anleger der Waterways of Ireland

Arrived on 2/5/25. Three English registered camper vans, 1 with a generator chained to its front wheel. We moved and parked elsewhere. Gardai arrived and had a chat with them and they moved on. I'm sure it'll be no time now that a height restriction barrier is erected. Such a shame.

absolute gem of a place

Very quiet carpark at Leitrim Quay - peaceful nights sleep. 2 other campers parked up for the night - not a sound to be heard. Has toilets, bins, black waste point and water tap. Village has everything you need, shops, petrol station, food, pubs/bars - we called into The Leitrim Inn / Blueway Lodge - lovely friendly staff and lovely Guinness

Great peaceful parkup, toilets, showers, black and grey water point and water tap. sadly no bins there at the moment but that could be because of the recent storm. pubs , takeaways and petrol station/shop a short walk away.

Quiet spot, good night's sleep, acceptably clean toilets. Bins are hidden away in a small stone-walled area at the far end of the parking area. Village has good pubs and canal cruisers add to the general ambience. Six campers stayed in total here in mid-October, which was surprisingly high for time of year. Overall: recommended.

Beautiful hidden gem in village of Leitrim. Over bridge & first right as entrance slightly concealed look for Ireland waterways sign. Stopped to coffee & emptied black waste ( no charge) but would be perfect for an overnight watching the cruisers pass by

perfect quiet and right in town with bars / restaurants , friendly local boat owners, clean toilets and shower , will definitely revisit

I really struggled finding a black waste point and finally found one here as recommended by another motorhome owner. Nice clean very central great location.

Super endroit plutôt tranquille, le parking n'est pas tout à fait aux coordonnées proposées mais plutôt en 53,9910136, -8,0641948. Toilettes disponibles toute la nuit, le camion poubelle n'est passé qu'à 10h35 ce lundi matin.

Great stop. Toilets were open all night. Locals are very friendly. The Leitrim Inn allows dogs in their covered beer garden,so you have a meal & a drink.

Ideal zum Übernachten. Toiletten und Duschen zweckmässig. Mehrere Pubs, Tanke mit Shop gleich in der Nähe. Für leichte Schläfer: Montag Morgens um 8 kam die Müllabfuhr.

Very quiet spot to stay overnight. Fairly flat with water, toilet and waste facilities. Nearby are the village pubs and takeaways. Lovely people.

Nous avons pu refaire le plein d'eau, profiter du WC public et nous débarrasser de nos poubelles. De plus, l'endroit est agréable et calme, sauf le camion-poubelle à 7 h du matin le lundi. Mais contrairement à ce qui a été dit : - il n'y a pas de prises de courant - un seul robinet à côté duquel on peut se garer, mais sans filetage - pas de douche ou autres services sans le badge de plaisancier.

Another great waterways Ireland carpark and toilet block. Right in the centre of Leitrim a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants and pubs. Very quiet and peaceful. Bins are well hidden away to the left of the toilet block. Couple of touring boats came and went during the day. Would recommend.

Entrance to mooring is opposite the turn for the R284. Good overnight Park Up. Waterways service block; black,grey,blue and rubbish bins. Good beer and food in the village.

Superbe petit parking au petit port des bateaux de rivière. Douches, toilettes pour vider les casettes ( celles des bateaux, donc c'est bon ). Eau a la baraque des douches, ou sur le quai : nombreux robinets. Très calme en cette saison, reposant.

Lovely car park right on river. In town so could get noisy in high season. Nice walk up the locks but you have to walk on road to get to start.
