this is a simple parking for overnight. the traffic during the night was not that heavy, so it is possible to sleep. although there are no prohibition signs, I saw a house right behind the fence, at the side of parking, looking towards fjord. It is most likely a vacation spot, but I am not sure. there was enough space for our 7.2m motorhome, and it fit around 6 motorhomes/camper vans

Schöner kleiner Rastplatz für eine Handvoll Fahrzeuge. Die Straße stört Nachts nicht wirklich da der Verkehr nachlässt.

Poubelles à dispo, aire de pic nic très propre, accès direct à Fløm en vélo via piste cyclable, si vous oubliez le bruit des divers passages sur la route c'est un spot sympa pour une nuit.

clean and tidy, small place just off the road so expect noise. Bin available. We had to drive passed for about 3k before being able to turn around as traffic sign indicated “ no left turn”

5 - 6 eigentliche Plätze. Wir stellten uns noch direkt vor den Picnictisch, so dass das Tor zum Haus frei blieb. Spätankommer nutzten dann noch die Rasenfläche. Ist für eine Nacht für autarke Camper gut, auch trotz der Hauptstraße. Laut empfindet jeder unterschiedlich.

Si sabes meterla bien, entra donde quieras.

Parking 4-5 places avec belle vue, ok pour la nuit (aucun panneau d'interdiction). Juste à coté de la route donc bruyant, et près d'une maison donc soyez respectueux. Poubelles et tables de picnic, accès a la piste cyclable et aux randonnées. Attention juillet 2025 il y avait un nid de guêpes dans l'arbre au centre

Noisy but beautiful

Deuxième utilisation en deux ans, seul problème, le bruit de la circulation, moins la nuit mais un peu gênante. Sinon très agréable pour une nuit.

Lugar llano, con mesas y basuras. Nos molesto bastante el ruido de la carretera por la noche

Aire de pique-nique au bord du fjord avec vue magnifique si vous avez la place au bord de la barrière (mais un peu en pente). la route est assez calme la nuit et peu de bruit. point de départ facile pour la très belle randonnée hovdungo qui surplombe le fjord.

Good free place to park for the night. Great views and a path along the fjord. Only space for 3 campervans, so I would recommend arriving early, before 5. No facilities and it's next to the road so obviously there is road noise.

Prima locatie voor een nachtje. Je hoort uiteraard de auto’s over de weg rijden. Maar savonds/snachts is het er rustig. Wij hebben hier prima een nachtje gestaan om Flam te bezoeken. Dorpje verderop heeft een lekkere bakkerij met goede koffie!

Very nice, easy access and no snow during winter. But noisy, next to the main road.

We stayed for one night with an RV. A little bit noisy due to the road which is next to the parking area. Easy to waste. Regarding the availability of area, a good choice for a night, free of charge.

Mangels kostenloser Alternativen im Ort die wohl beste Übernachtungsmöglichkeit bei Flam. Kleine Mauer und Bäume zur bis in den Abend hinein lauten Straße. Nachts mit nur noch wenigen LKW okay. Radweg (eine Seltenheit in Norwegen) bis Flam, ca 3 km.

Endroit sympa pour passer une nuit malgré la route qui ne nous a pas dérangé pour dormir . Réveil agréable au pied du fyord

Usato per parcheggiare il mezzo per visitare Otternes. Ci sono tavoli da pic-nic e bidoni. Quando siamo arrivati noi i bidoni erano pieni e c'era puzzo di urina..

Der Platz an sich ist ganz schön und gerade. Aber die Lautstärke ist echt heftig.

Emplacement ok avec une belle vue ainsi qu'un petit chemin piéton juste à côté. Environnement bruyant avec le trafic routier (camion), même si moins de passage la nuit. Maison non habitée lors de notre nuitée.

il y a une maison juste à côté, habitée, avec un chien qui aboie quand vous arrivez.... c'est donc interdit

Un des rares emplacements autorisés dans le secteur. La nuit calme, le trafic reprend vers 6h. Jolie vue sur Flåm et l'arrivée des bateaux de croisières. Tables de pique nique. Environ 4-5 places, selon la taille

Emplacement un peu plus loin que le point gps de l’application. La vue est phénoménale, vraiment magnifique. Le gros point noir reste la route juste à côté très passante avec beaucoup de camion. Mais on a très bien dormi, on était seul sur cette air. Pour nous la vie a été plus forte que le bruit. Pas de service ici.

único espacio gratis para dormir cerca de flam. con suerte entran 5 autocaravanas pegadas de lado. sin servicios. cubo basura totalmente lleno a fines de setiembre. lugar muy ruidoso noche y día. no hay baño en la naturaleza.

We read the reviews of this place being quite busy, so we came early and found a spot. Quite noisy during the day but quiet at night. There's a picknick bench and there are large garbage cans. Not ideal if you don't have a toilet, seeing as the only little tree grove is quite exposed to the road.

Packed with motorhomes, no chance of getting a space in the evening during summer time.

Bien utile car il n'y a pas grand chose dans les environs. En bord de route. Très fréquentée et par pas mal de poids lourds.

War für eine Nacht i.O. Strasse ziemlich laut, geht aber. Sonst kaum andere Möglichkeiten in Flam.

Mooi uitzicht, maar wel echt langs de weg. ‘S nachts rustig met verkeer. Goed vlak naast de picknicktafel.

Für eine Nacht super, da es in der Nähe nicht wirklich was gibt zum Freistehen. Lärm ist Nachts ok aber geht früh morgens wieder los. Liegt eben direkt an der Straße. Ansonsten schöner Sitzplatz und Mülleimer vorhanden.

Außer Mülleimer und Tisch nichts vorhanden. Von der vielbefahrenen Straße nur durch kleine Mauer getrennt. Also besser mit Verkehrslärm rechnen. Fuß- und Radweg führt direkt durch. Für eine Nacht aber ok wenn es nur ums schlafen geht.
