Great place. we were in a 6.2 mtr motorhome plenty of room tp manouvre. enough space for 4 or 5 vans. set back 20/25 mtrs off the ro⁹ad. very quiet. a couple of scenic walks, close by a small river entering the sea. we were also lucky to wake up to wild dear outside the motorhome. there are waste bins at the area entrance too. probably one of the best camps we have done.
Parked here Saturday morning, enough spaces for 3 MH, 2 bins at the road side. Nice walk up the valley, from where we parked great views over to Kintyre.
Even a better spot if you drive to the back of the parking area. There are a few ‘bays’ that seem to be used frequently. For a small campervan, you can get near the river, certainly when the ground is dry.
Small set back parking area, really quiet, good phone service and bins. There is an epic walk just across the river.
Beautiful level and protected little site. Ideal for walk up Glen Catacol
