È un parcheggio un po' dimenticato ai piedi della chiesa dove siamo soli. Panorama straordinario dell'Etna da un lato e della Valle dell'Agro, del mare e del continente dall'altro. Strada asfaltata molto tortuosa per arrivarci. Si trova a 1000 m di altitudine. WC pubblico, servizi accessibili al ristorante Casa del Pellegrino (docce, stanze, lavatrici, internet, elettricità su richiesta). Rubinetto d'acqua lato nord della chiesa.
Het is een parkeerplaats een beetje vergeten aan de voet van de kerk waar we alleen zijn. Buitengewoon panorama van de Etna aan de ene kant en de Agro-vallei, de zee en het continent aan de andere kant. Geasfalteerde weg erg bochtig om er te komen. Het is op 1000m hoogte. Zeker niet erg toegankelijk in de winter. Geen service. Watertappunt noordzijde van de kerk.

Amazing view of Etna! Regarding the Internet, there is no connection on one side of the parking lot, but excellent Internet on the other side. We worked online on video calls without a problem. The police came once to say hello and left. Quiet, beautiful, we stayed for a few days.
Wunderschöne Aussicht, viel Platz. Kleine Papierkörbe an der Kirche. Anfahrt von der einen Seite durch ziemlich schmales Gelände. Andere Seite geteerte Serpentinen. Je nach Windrichtung bei Sturm zu gefährlich. Wir bei Westwind runter zu dem Rastplatz. Da ging es gut.
Un endroit merveilleux à ne louper sous aucun prétexte ! Attention ne pas suivre l’indication de Waze sur le dernier kilomètre, mais reste sur la route goudronnée jusqu’à l’arrivée
Un posto bellissimo, è un po’ sperduto ma ne vale veramente la pena, è un parcheggio credo della chiesa della Madonna dell’Aiuto, abbiamo pernottato una notte, in compagnia del suono dei grilli e del silenzio della natura, insieme a noi c’era una macchina camperizzata con cui abbiamo scambiato due chiacchiere. Una raccomandazione non buttate rifiuti nella natura.
Prachtig, schoon en als je op zondag komt galmt de mis om 18u door de speakers. Geen water op dit moment, daarvoor moet je naar een plek beneden waar de waterdruk erg laag is.
Super Standort mit traumhaften Blick. Ca. 100m vor dem großen Platz ist das Ristorante Casa del Pellegrino das von Martina betrieben wird. Sie kommt ursprünglich aus Hamburg und hat uns fantastisches Essen serviert. Unbedingt antipasti probieren!
mit abstand d. schönste platz! maximal legendärer panoramablick. straße hoch ist auf d. einen seite geteert & gut für jegliches auto (kurvig u steil) d. andere straße holprig aber auch gut zu schaffen für jegl. autos. kein platz um sich für ne woche um den camper aus zu breiten - aber legendär wenn du wandern gehen willst u. d. natur genießt außerhalb deines womos. sterne pur über dir in der nacht
Nice spot, however: the road from graniti is horrible and google maps tried to take me through an even worse one first. When i finally made it up, i found out that the main road is blocked by a landslide and i had to go back down. It's probably beautiful in summer but in winter there is snow, water, rocks, potholes, cold and bad internet connection.
We drove up for lunch at the restaurant (Casa del Pellegrino) but it was closed unfortunately. The view is amazing but the drive up from the coast not worth it just for that. Very friendly employee told me via whatsapp that they only open weekends this winter because of the bad weather. So be warned :) You can reach out to them (their number is on their socials) to check in advance if you want.
Spectaculair spot. Great views of Etna and other surrounding mountains. We went by the restaurant for lunch, and they had a great 5 course meal for 30 euros, with everything included (water, wine and food). my favourite red wine I've had so far in Italy, apparently made by the owner himself lower on the mountain, and I've you ask very nicely you can get a bottle (I paid 10 for 1.5liter).
die suche war etwas schwierig, weil die dame vom gps etwas verwirrt war. irgendwie haben wir den schönen, verlassenen platz doch noch gefunden und sind eine nacht bei regen und dickstem nebel geblieben. sehr mystisch inkl ave maria von der kleinen kirche!
Semplicemente un posto magnifico! Non ci sono servizi e il ristorante vicino era chiuso ma la sosta notturna qui ne vale la pena. Ci si arriva lungo una strada tortuosa e stretta, non adatto a camper di grandi dimensioni, con il nostro California era perfetto!
Tellement de chose à dire le point de vue est à couper le souffle !! le restaurant situé à côté de l’église est tenu par un couple et leur fille nous y avons mangé et c’était délicieux à ne pas manquer !! le point d’eau n’est plus accessible car l’eau coûte trop cher ici mais avec la gentillesse et la générosité du couple pour 5€/p nous avons pu nous doucher à l’étage du restaurant :)
Naprosto dokonalé místo na spaní přez noc!❤️ klid, pohoda. Ráno když jsme v 8:10 odjížděli tak jsme pár metrů pod náma potkaly policejní auto. Nevím jestli se tam je-li jen schovat a nebo to zkontrolovat ale naštěstí jsme už byli na cestě pryč a jen nás přátelsky zamávali.
Sehr empfehlenswert! Strecke dorthin ist etwas kurvig aber es lohnt sich! Bitte besucht aus das Restaurant, geführt von Deutsch-Italienern Super essen für einen geringen Preis. Toller Platz mit Toiletten und Wasser.
Stunning place with breathtaking views! Quiet, clean with toilets and drinking water available. WiFi didn’t really work for us but at least we got some time to relax and read books :) Great for dog walks as well . The road is little narrow at times especially when leading through little villages but it’s worth it !
Tolle Aussicht auf die umliegende Landschaft. 4G Empfang hält sich in Grenzen. Wind kann sehr stark werden, bei uns über 100km/h in der Nacht. Sind dann ein Stück runter gefahren zu den Plätzen mit überdachten Tischen dort dann fast ohne Wind sehr ruhig geschlafen
toller Ort haben hier zweimal übernachtet die Aussicht ist einfach super die Kirche ist auch sehr schön bitte haltet diesen Platz sauber
Toll, Essen gut, tolle Restaurantbetreiber, Aussicht toll. Waren mit unserem Wohnmobil, 8,40 m lang und 3,85 m hoch, dort oben. Beide Strecken, SP12 über Scifi und Limina, und SP12/SP11 über Mongiuffi Melia, möglich. Die zweite ist die schönere.
Magie d’un réveil entre le lever du soleil et l’Etna, au son de l’Avé Maria sorti des entrailles de la petite église près de laquelle nous avons dormi. 5 étoiles, plus celles de la nuit, plus le millier qui m’ont éblouie au réveil. La route est goudronnée, mais beaucoup de virages serrés doivent rendre la montée en CC difficile, sinon impossible
Einfach nur zum empfehlen.Ein Pluspunkt ist die perfekte Aussicht auf das Meer und den Vulkan Ätna!Bei unserer Ankunft war es sehr stürmisch, jedoch hat uns die Betreiberin des Lokals von sich aus einen windgeschützen Platz für unseren Van angeboten, wo wir übernachten können. Kommt vorbei, besucht das Lokal und erlebt eine wundervolle Nacht plus Sonnenaufgang. Ps. Unbeschreiblich sauber.
Spot extraordinaire mais qui se mérite. Les toilettes sont fermées. Nous sommes arrivés de nuit depuis Taormina et avons suivi Waze! Nous avons cru ne pas arriver tellement les routes sont en mauvais état! On n’a pas compris ce parcours! Même problème le lendemain pour partir sur Randazzo !
Schöner Ort. Wir haben hier eine Nacht verbracht. Das WC war leider geschlossen, aber im Restaurant gibt es ein WC. Mehrere Autos kamen auf den Parkplatz, haben uns nett gegrüßt und fuhren nach kurzer Zeit wieder. Auch wenn es tagsüber windstill war, hat es nachts angefangen zu stürmen, sodass unser Van gewackelt hat. Die musikalische Begleitung morgens und abends hat uns gefallen ;)
Straße nach oben wurde frisch asphaltiert. Anfahrt war bis auf die vielen Kurven komplett in Ordnung. Super Blick auf see und Etna. Lohnt sich für eine Nacht auf jeden Fall
nun ja, die aussicht ist gewaltig. die anfahrt ist anstrengend, ewige kurven und serpentinen. unser fzg ist 7 m lang, für größere ist das dann grenzwertig. der platz ist ausgesprochen windig, wird sind später etwas hinuntergefahren, zu den Rastplätzen.
Amazing place and views both on to the Etna and the sea! We had low wind and the night sky is something magical. And at 8 am chapel wakes you up with the sound of bells and Ave Maria song. There is public WC as well but at the moment it was closed.
Good spot but windy! Rocky mountains in the winter, not much to do (weekdays, so no restaurant open) except hiking. We only stayed one night (and had to move the car during the night due to increased wind). Check weather before going =)
Unglaubliche Aussicht auf die umliegenden Täler und als Highlight natürlich auf den Ätna. Durch den rundumblick sonnenauf- und Untergang. Große Auswahl an Stellplätzen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Restaurant mit leckeren hausgemachten Speisen zu fairen Preisen. Ist im Winter am Wochenende geöffnet. Falls es oben zu windig sein sollte, kann man auch in Roccafiorita geschützt stehen.

Magique ! Endroit qu’il faut mériter car la route est longue pour y parvenir mais ça vaut le coup ! Réveil au son de La Chapelle et vue panoramique entre les mers et l’Etna. Expérience incroyable !
No words can explain how beautiful this spot is. Don't be scared by the curves to drive up, the 360° view on the island is stunning! Surrounded by nature, we had a sky full of stars and were able to see the spectacular eruption of Etna Vulcano last year. A must-go is the Restaurant Casa del Pellegrino, local food, very friendly family. You can sleep, take a warm shower and work with their WiFi!
Superplatz mit tollen 360° Aussicht. Super Service und Restaurant Deutsch, Italienisch und Englischsprachig sehr gutes Essen und preisgünstig. Gemüse von eigenem Bioanbau. Wir haben nicht übernachtet aber es sind super Parkplätze vorhanden gerade und geteert.
Es ist eine langer und Kurvenreiche Strecke hoch. Grade erst komplett neu asphaltiert! Wahnsinnig schöner Ausblick. Das Restaurant kann man empfehlen.

One of the best experiences we’ve had in Italy. The views from the top are beautiful, from the one end you can see the sea, the other end Etna. The restaurant at the top serves great authentic food for low prices! You can also sleep above the restaurant in one of the newly renovated rooms.
Prachtig uitzicht op de Etna! De weg ernaartoe is goed, maar met veel haarspeldbochten. Toen we op de spot aankwamen, zagen we naast de kerk ook een restaurant gerund door een super lief stel. We hebben er heerlijk gegeten - antipasta, pasta en heerlijke wijn voor 20 euro per persoon. Buiten het seizoen is bellen handig.
Parcheggio davanti una chiesa un po’ dimenticate perciò molto tranquillo. Abbiamo trascorso il pomeriggio e una notte e non abbiamo visto nessuno. Aparte il vento che dava un po’ fastidio e la strada per arrivare è un po’ lunga, abbiamo dormito in pace. La vista dal parcheggio è bellissima. Molto consigliato.
Vista strepitosa! La strada che abbiamo percorso noi per arrivare era una piccola avventura (Google maps) ma ne vale la pena! Un po' di vento ma notte tranquilla!
Vista straordinaria, calmissimo a livello di persone. Un po lungo da arrivare su ma ne vale la pena. Unica pecca: dalle 2 di notte si è alzato un vento incredibile che purtroppo ci ha costretto a chiudere la maggiolina due ore dopo ed andare via, nonostante quando ci siamo addormentati il vento era a 0. non mi fidavo e avevo paura si strappasse la copertura. Mettetevi a ridosso di una parete.
Excellent spot, vue magnifique sur l’etna! Nuit au frais! Toilettes + eau potable au Monastère! Spot très propre! Préservons le ainsi!

Steile Anfahrt aber definitiv den Weg wert. So ein Panorama bekommt man nie wieder. Es war windig, Wasser war abgeschaltet also auch keine Toiletten.
Auch wenn die Fahrt hoch recht lang und sehr kurvig ist, es lohnt sich: Die atemberaubendste Aussicht zu allen Seiten… Wir waren ganz allein da und es war sehr sauber. Ein weiteres Highlight: Das Ave Maria von der Kirche am nächsten Morgen. Dieser Ort bleibt unvergessen!
Fantastischer ort, jederzeit wieder! eine menge platz, ruhe und ein sauberes gelände. Kann ich nur empfehlen! de aussicht ist herrlich auf alle seiten
Guter Platz, besser wie am Foto und nicht am Hauptparkplatz (Licht und vereinzelt Leute nschts) Um 8 Uhr morgens spielt die Kirche Ave Maria fürs ganze Tal! Würden wieder kommen wenn wir wieder in Sizillien sind. Bars fürs Frühstück in Limina (Granita Café)
Außergewöhnlicher Schlafplatz mit wahnsinnigem Panorama. Die Toiletten waren bei uns genauso wie das Restaurant geschlossen. Top Spot - ABER bei uns hat es brutal gewindet. Sehr unruhige Nacht, weil der Bus gewackelt hat wie ein Schiff auf hoher See. Die Anfahrt ist im Dunkeln abenteuerlich, bei Licht aber wunderschön!
Fantastic spot. You can see the volcano and also the sea on the other side. Quiet, peaceful und next to the church is an amazing restaurant with a little cute owner who also speaks German. He left the toilets open for us at night and those are really new. Would definitely come back even though the drive up there is really curvy and adventurous.
Wir haben hier eine kühle, windige aber sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht. Die Aussicht am Morgen war fantastisch. Auf der einen Seite die aufgehende Sonne über dem Meer, auf der Anderen der Ätna. Um zu dem Platz zu gelangen sind wir über Graniti gefahren. Dies ist definitiv die anspruchsvollere Strecke. Wenn man über Limina fährt, ist es nicht ganz so holprig. Dennoch hat unser T4 beide Strecken super gemeistert und für diese Aussicht hat es sich alle mal gelohnt.
Perfect. Quite a climb up from the coast for a large MH but well worth it. We had hymns morning and evening, but the parking to ourselves.
An amazing view of the Etna ! I didn't spend the night here because at the end of December it was way too cold (6 degrees at noon). When you leave follow the main road, there's a smaller one going east but it's really really tight.
Supremely peaceful spot. Stunning panorama of Mt Etna and the surrounding mountains. We arrived at mass time but it was not that busy, just a handful of cars parked at the church. We parked the other side and were the only overnighters. There are a couple of taps but they were not working (perhaps the priest turns them off for heathen campers). At around 7.30am hymns are played over the church speakers for you to enjoy with your breakfast.
We stood a Bit under the church at a picknicking place.on the right u can see the whole ätna and in the other side there is the sea with italians Coast.BEAUTIFUL!no Cars no people,a very quiet Place.but please:never leave the asphalted road!!(we had some bad Luck with our navigation system so that we drove a very small and dangerous mud and gravel street in the middle of nowhere)
