This feels much like wild camping, but with the amenities of a campsite! No designated parking areas, just the EHU points dotted around, but you can park within a few meters of the shore line to watch incredible sunsets. Perfect little beach next to reception, and a fish n chips shop that is worth the visit. Well stocked shop, washrooms are functional enough, if not the most stylish

If you like wild you’ll love this, including the 2 mile drive along a narrow twisty lane with few passing places (we are 7m motorhome) Free-for-all pitchup (take long lead if you want EHU) Best to arrive early for a level pitch! Facilities are basic but fine. Sunset scrambles on the rocks, swims on a deserted beach, if you dare, & coastal walks. Great fish & chips from the in-house chippy.
The pros: beautiful location and sheep that you can watch graze in the hills. The cons: basically everything else. Dirty bathrooms, sewage smells wafting, poor WiFi (also weak/no cell phone signal). Pitching up is a free for all with no defined pitches, leading to crowding. We were told we needed to move, while cooking, bc they started digging a trench. Why wasn’t that planned in advance?
Prachtige plek, geweldig uitzicht, je kan er vrijstaan waar je maar wil. Schitterende witte stranden. Voelt als het einde van de wereld, heel bijzonder. Er is een winkeltje met noodzakelijke boodschappen en dat is fijn want er is verder in de directe omgeving niks. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam ontvangst. Enige dikke minpunt is het sanitair. Verouderd en niet erg schoon. Daarom 3 sterren.
We wilden eerst op Clachtol Beach Campsite gaan staan vanwege de goede reviews. Toch doorgereden naar deze camping. Hier sta je veel mooier en vrijer en goedkoper. Wij betaalden zonder stroom £21,— per nacht. Goede fish and chips daar. Aan te bevelen.
Loved it! Right next to beach and some lovely walks. Reception has a little shop with anything you may need and a small fish and chip shop that is very popular. Laundry is ok dryer didn’t work very well. We stayed on the last night for the season it is now closed for winter.
toller Platz, die Anfahrt ist recht abenteuerlich aber typisch schottisch. freundlicher Empfang und eine spontane Übernachtung war kein Problem. Das Sanitärhaus ist sanierungsbedürftig, die Duschen sind sehr alt und etwas ungepflegt. Haben für einen frei wählbaren Platz ohne Strom 17 Pfund bezahlt. Die Umgebung ist unbeschreiblich schön!
We pre booked 2 nights here for £48 for 2A, 2C and EHU. We were the last EHU booking to arrive and there was no sensible place for us to pitch near the last EHU port. So we did without. They kindly refunded us the EHU element of the fee. Amazing breach on the site, nice fish and chips, and adequate shower block. Will definitely come again.
I highly recommend this site! We paid £19 for a pitch with no electric. There’s a little shop on site and a laundrette. I paid £7.50 for the washing machine & tumble dryer (use the highest heat or it doesn’t dry as it’s only 30 minutes) so I had to pay another £2.50 to dry our stuff. It’s right on the beach which is lovely unless it rains like it did yesterday and it ended up flooding the whole bottom half of the pitch so everyone had to move up the top which wasn’t fun and when we woke up this morning we had to play dodge the jellyfish ? they were everywhere!!! But overall I’d definitely come back here again purely for the fish and chips, they were delicious! All freshly made ?
Beautiful site next to an incredible beach. Hot showers, good facilities. Fish and chip shop and small shop on site. So glad we stayed here rather than the car park next door that had no facilities for just about the same price and we had electric hook up too! No fixed pitches. Friendly staff. Lovely walks from the site.
Toller Campingplatz mit fantastischem Strand. Keine festen Stellplätze. Man darf sich stellen, wie man möchte. Sehr netter Empfang. Kleinere Gerichte möglich und kleiner Laden. WLAN nicht immer stabil, aber es war auch sehr stürmisch. Schöne Küstenwanderungen möglich.
Great chippy, beautiful beach, friendly and clean. No dogs, which I find great with small kids. No dog waste lying around. Nice short walks from the campsite possible.
Great spot, reasonably priced and a good fish& chippie (i.e. vegan springrolls, haggis, bean burger). Friendly staff in the little shop/reception. Good hikes around here and coastal exploration.
nice location and site. showers were very narrow and the lights go off while you're in them and the drains back up immediately, in all could do with a bit of attention to them. but helpful staff as the washing machine broke with my stuff in and they gave me loads of tokens to rewash and dry it.
Mooie plek prima om te staan, locatie is geweldig tussen beide strandjes in. Douchen was een kunst aangezien na 5min de lampen uitgaan en je dus in het donker verder moest.
Great location, horrible service. Unwelcoming staff. Unclean bathrooms, lights in shower go off after several minutes. But again, great location, do it for the location an you'll be fine. Owner has a deeply rooted hate for dogs.
Small campsite with lovely views and only a minute walk from a beautiful beach. Delicious fish and chip shop on site that offers gluten free options if you need. Showers could use with more of a clean but overall a good stay!
Vriendelijke mensen. Erg mooie plek. Voorzieningen in orde. Onderhoud had wat beter gekund. Maar goed, alles is er. Leuk uitgangspunt voor wandelingen. Geen telefoonverbinding. Wel wifi.
Schön mit Strand und tollen Wanderwegen an den Klippen entlang. Mittlerweile umfangreiche Speisekarte ab 17 Uhr. Sehr beliebt und daher schnell voll, am Besten anrufen und nachfragen. Die Sanitäranlagen sollten öfter gereinigt werden, da sich einige Gäste nicht benehmen können.
Prachtige plek met uitzicht op zee en zeer mooie wandelroutes door het rotsachtige gebied. Vriendelijke (Nederlandse) eigenaren, klein winkeltje met benodigdheden en fish & chips store. Sanitair is netjes en geen last van muggen (28 - 30 juni '23)

Sehr ruhig gelegen. Die kleine Zufahrtsstraße der letzten 2 Meilen ist ein kleines Single Track Abenteuer aber gut für unser 7 M WoMo zu meistern. Kleiner Strand, saubere Sanitäranlagen, kleiner Imbiss, Mini-Laden. Freies stehen auf einer Graswiese mit Stromsäulen. 21 £ für WoMo incl. Pers. Incl. Strom.
We paid £21.50 for a VW T6 campervan with electric hook up (no reservation). Showers and toilets are clean and hot. Amazing beach next to the site and fish and chips available next to the reception from 5pm.
5 stars for the beautiful white beach and aquamarine sea. Just like the Carribean (until you put a toe in the water). Facilities fine considering the price
Lovely place. No dogs allowed. We called to ask we’re we allowed with our tent box, told they were shutting a bit early, not an issue. Toilets and showers been refurbished and are good, lovely spot.
Extremely unwelcome if you haven’t booked or if you have a dog. Even though the place was empty. Whatever you do don’t arrive late. The guy next door is much more welcoming. The beach is world class.
Der Weg dahin ist eine typische schottische Single Track Road, welche aber nach etwas Erfahrung super gemeistert werden kann. Dagür ist der Platz der Hammer. Sanitär top, Strand top, Wäsche waschen such too und so haben wir eine super Nacht verbracht.
Lovely beach less then 5 minutes walk perfect for a morning dip. Nice clean facilities, electric hook up, bit windy but that's normal up here.
Leider sind hier keine Hunde erlaubt:-( haben dann nur unsere Wäsche gewaschen, 6£ Wäschen und Trockner.
after looking for overflow car park ended up in here not many hook up pitches and all taken parked right by the coast at top of the site great spot but strong winds during the night had the van rocking, toilets clean enough water was hit but shower cubicle no very big, still worth the night though for the location, the road in is quiet narrow for bigger vans though
Incroyable emplacement ! Point de vue magnifique. Plage de sable blanc. On s’est baigné. Sanitaires ok. Fish and chips le soir. Petite epicerie ( sans bieres !).
Sind wir uns ehrlich, einen Campingplatz an der Westküste fährt man nur wegen der sanitären Anlagen an, denn schöne Plätze, an denen man frei stehen kann, gibt es hier zur Genüge. Hier seid ihr mit versifften WCs konfrontiert, Mülleimer quellen über, Licht geht aus, während man sitzt, keine Wäschablagen in der Dusche, Haken teilweise abgerissen, Wasser lauwarm, 1 Dusche funktioniert gar nicht :-(

Excellent campsite, friendly staff. Turned up on the night (6pm) and was able to have a non-electric pitch for £18. Clean facilities, small shower cubicles, but plenty of hot water. We chose a pitch overlooking the sea, lovely beach front location. Great little stopover whilst exploring Scotland.
Staff really friendly. We got electric hook up over lookin the rocks at sunset. had a small campfire (off the ground). shower facilities we clean, small cubicle but clean with warm water. Decent little site. Nice walk to the beach. Worth the visit. The road to it is a bit hairy, narrow lane, but worth it.

Unreal location right next to white sand beach. We watched the sunset on the rocks. Bit of a faff trying to find the last electric point as we were last on the site but staff very friendly and helpful regardless. Shower cubicle very small but works nonetheless. Fresh fish and chips was top, Road down to site is tight in the camper but well worth it when you arrive.

The location is epic. The beach is really amazing with white sands and crystal clear water. Great walk up a hill straight from the campsite for views over the beach and mountains. Really lovely staff. Let down a little by it's facilities. Not having a hose on the drinking water tap made it hard to fill the van with water and emptying the grey water into a bucket was a bit of a faff.
Lovely stay. Amazing beach. Very fresh fish and chips. No phone signal and apparently Electrics didn’t work but we hadn’t got a pitch with electric so no issue. Road to drive there from South very easy. From north fine for camper van but not trailer. Beautiful scenery and just hope it’s not too busy but there are lots of passing places. Takes about 1.5 hours if you keep stopping for photos.

Le site est sympa mais pas fin juillet. Le camping est bondé, la vue est sur le voisin ?. Sanitaires limites mis bon le prix est bas. Attention : vidange des WC possible mais rien pour les eaux grises.
Camping sympa et pas cher, le coucher de soleil sur la mer en bonus. Moutons qui se promènent en liberté donc chiens interdits. Pas de réseau 3G mais possibilité de payer pour le wifi du camping.
