(CT7 9UN) Birchington-on-Sea - Promenade

I love this place. Great coastal park up with nice walks on the promenade, lovely beach and a good pub. Only marred by the odd late night boy racer showing up but they tend to leave quickly.

Super Place

gute Location vor allem mit Hund! er kann direkt ins Grüne springen. es kommen viele Spaziergänger mit Hunden vorbei. nachts hatten wir ebenfalls etwas Besuch von jungen Leuten auf dem moped und einigen Autos. hat sich ab 12 gelegt. Toiletten waren sauber und es gibt eine Dusche an Pier. das Abwasser geht direkt an den Stand also nur biologisch abbaubares Shampoo benutzen. Minis Bar war 1a!

I live near here and can confirm this is a safe spot I would use overnight. Nothing better than sitting in your van watching the sun going down. Some stunning sunsets, paddle boarding and great cycling and running routes on your doorstep. Council loos locked up early, but the pub is open until 11.

es ist ein großer Parkplatz für ca 100 Autos und speziell 5 für Wohnmobile. leider nachts sehr laut. bis weit nach Mitternacht immer wieder mehrere kommende und fahrende Autos Jugendlicher, teils mit lauter Musik, aufheulenden Motoren oder quietschenden Reifen. Es war so schlimm, dass ich gegen 01.00 Uhr nachts dann weggefahren bin. Dafür hab ich dann 11 Pfund umsonst bezahlt

Perfekt für 1 oder 2 Nächte. Grosser, öffentlicher Parkplatz. Die besten Plätze reserviert für Motorhome oder Van. Pub gehört dazu. Essen sehr gut. Öffentliches, sauberes WC am Platz. Nachts verschlossen ab 07.00 Morgens offen. Am WE früh morges reger Verkehr durch Wassersportler. Kit-Surfer, Surfer etc. Hatten eine sehr ruhige und gute Nacht. Keine Chance die 10£ zu zahlen. Haben kapituliert. Tja

Great little spot, 5 spaces great views of the sea, very quiet night few cars now and then but didn’t bother us.£10 for over night parking. Council guy said it’s very busy in the summer and parking wardens are about all the time. You can park along the parade for free, but no over night.

This is one of our best stops this year. Great views with a pub that does food next door. Still waiting to see if we get the young joy riders in the car park at night. But so far. 10out of 10.
