Bon Scott était le chanteur du groupe de rock AC/DC. Un festival annuel nommé à juste titre BonFest. Des groupes du monde entier convergent vers la ville pour jouer des reprises d'AC/DC et rendre hommage à leur héros.
Lovely farm setting close to the town of Kirriemuir, also known as the gateway to the glens making it ideal for walkers and cyclists. Kirriemuir is a perfect base to explore Glamis Castle and the Museum, the birthplace Sir JM Barrie, the creator of Peter Pan. Visit the life sized bronze statue of Bon Scott, the lead singer of the rock band AC/DC who was born in Kirriemuir.

Just left on way to Breamar after stopping the night here. There were 2 other campervans but the spot at the side if the runway is so big that we were all really well spread out and private. The views all around are very pretty and there's virtually no traffic so quiet too. Gill was very helpful when we arrived. There is even a chemical toilet cleaning set up.

What a fantastic Aire. Set on a farm and even more unique you are parked at the edge of a grass airstrip. Beautiful views over the fields and plenty of space. No problems on the grass after heavy rain either. Everything is well signposted with services found by the barn. Cost is £10 with payment by bank transfer or honesty box by the side of the barn.

Endroit parfait. Nous nous sommes arrêtés principalement pour les services. Nous y avons finalement passé la nuit car au calme et personne. Services parfaits et très propres Emplacement sur l'herbe ou à côté du hangar. Paiement en espèces ou alors par virement (utilisation d'une application car coordonnées bancaires locales) Propriétaire très sympathique Merci

Super aire de stationnement. Rien à dire, tout y est et pour un prix très raisonnable. Assez rare au Royaume-Uni pour le notifier. Il y a même des poubelles de trie à disposition. Un immense merci. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés.
GatersOnTour09/02/2025A fantastic place. We were warmly greeted by the owner who showed us where we could park and let us choose. We filled with water and parked up with EHU. We had a great sleep and would definitely use again. You can use the services for £5 or stay for £10 without EHU or £17 with EHU That’s a bargain! Was hoping to see a plane land on the strip behind!

Great park up. Greeted by friendly owner and shown around. Had the place to myself and went with a pitch with EHU. Had a choice of 5 spots against the barn. Which had lovely friendly cows in. £17 for the night with EHU. Facilities for filling water and grey water, £5 charge if looking just to fill water and drain waste. I’m a full timer and used to charge battery during winter, will use again.

siamo stati bene. Manca la toilette e le docce, ma è presente lo scarico per la toilette chimica ed l'elettricità. puoi parcheggiare in un bellissimo campo con vista e la signora del campeggio molto gentile. Ampio spazio verde tra campi coltivati dove passare la notte.

Acceuil très chaleureux des propriétaires. Très grand champ avec de la place pour des dizaines de caravanes, donc plein d'espace entre les quelques occupants pour la nuit. Belle vue sur les champs alentours. Calme.

Super endroit au calme en pleine campagne. Terrain herbeux et spacieux. Tranquillité absolue. Possibilité de vidanger et remplir le véhicule. Emplacements avec électricité si besoin le long du hangar. Merci pour ce bel espace. Prix raisonnable 10£ pour la nuit et 5£ pour les commodités, à glisser dans la boîte aux lettres ou par virement.

parfait nous nous sommes arrêtés pour vider nos eaux usées et refaire le plein d'eau. très facile à utiliser et à trouver. prévoir de l'argent liquide pour payer les 5 pounds dans une boîte . au top merci

lovely safe place to stop for a night or two . tranquil scenic and very peaceful . just us in a very large mown field with the birds singing . great for dogs too as no livestock . waste dump and clean water . highly recommended .

Très bon emplacement pour la nuit, très venté, mais possibilité de se garer contre les hangars pour couper le vent. Nous avons laissé une donation et rempli notre réservoir d'eau.

Lovely peaceful place to sleep and rest up. Nice and simple, easy to cycle into the village to visit for every Peter Pan enthusiast, the birthplace of the authour J M Barrie. You can also stop for Service, £5, stay £10 plus EHU £7. Thank You hosts.

Great hosts with very reasonable fees… the site is super easy to find, and quirky - next to the airstrip! With all the facilities accessible, tidy and clean, it’s a brilliant spot for sunrise/sunsets. Town is only 5min drive for food or fuel.

Plenty of room, parked beside the grass airstrip! Handy stop on the first night, as arrived about 21.00 and payment is by honesty box or online bank transfer. Never saw another soul the whole time! Facilities all modern and convenient.

Top! A lot of space, drinking water, black water disposal. And we had really quiet night! Plus as extra we could borrow air compressor to check tyre pressure. Really friendly owner.

Sehr ruhig und landschaftlich schön. Eine ewig lange Wiese die vermutlich ala Landebahn für Agrarflieger dient. Man steht in Sichtweise des Farmhauses vollkommen unbehelligt. Reservierung per Telefon ging problemlos. Wir würden sehr nett begrūßt. Frischwasserver- Abwasserentsorgung und Toilettenentsorgung sind möglich.

Utilisé uniquement pour les services : £5 avec la possibilité de laisser l'argent dans une boîte si personne n'est présent. Egalement un immense terrain nu pour passer la nuit pour £10. Semble venteux.

Excellent new site, and great value. It is set among cornfields, with views towards hills. There is a choice of hardstanding pitches near the buildings (some with hookup) or grass pitches, located away from buildings beside a grass airstrip. There is space for multiple vans without overcrowding. There is absolutely no road noise (or any other noise!). So peaceful!

Genial, so wünschen wir uns die Plätze zum Übernachten. Die Eigentümer sind freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir standen zwischen wogenden Kornfeldern mit weitem Blick in die Landschaft, und zwar allein. Und wir haben noch nie auf der gelegentlich genutzten Start- und Landebahn für Flugzeuge übernachtet.

Very nice and clean aire to fill your drinking water and empty grey water as well as chemical toilet for as litle as 5£. Parking is possible for 10£ per vehicle on a lovely field with great scenery. very spacious and quiete. Host is lovely and made sure we were comfortable and that nothing was missing. If necessary they are reachable by phone.

Beautiful aire in beautiful surroundings. We only stopped fir waste and water but when we saw the parking area we couldn’t help ourselves and happily paid the extra to stay. Also saw hares in the field.

Beautiful aire, parked in the middle of a big field with farmland all around giving lovely views and a really peaceful night. perfect for Glamis castle which is just down the road. Lovely owners are very friendly, highly recommended.
