We were here end of may, nobody there and place looked very out of use. So no working toilets, electricity, running water. Not that we mind, it is a perfect spot for wild camping. Water enough from river. Maybe they restore it in coming months. Take the dirt road directly from main highway do not take the road via the village. Google maps is incorrect here.
Great place. Think they were a bit surprised when we arrived but we had a great night with the rangers at the station. Stayed in our Land Rover with a RTT. Not sure it’s an ‘official’ camp though.
Der Campingplatz ist der Einzige im Arevik Nationalpark. Er wird von den Rangern des Nationalparks betrieben. Der Platz ist sehr sauber und sehr kinderfreundlich eingerichtet. Primär wird dort gezeltet aber es gibt auch Stellplätze für Wohnmobile.
