Bel endroit herbeux au bord d'une petite route B qui contourne un lac / réservoir. Il doit y avoir eu de l'abattage dans une forêt voisine car un gros camion avec des bûches est passé assez tard mais rien d'autre à part ça. Extrêmement silencieux car la route ne mène nulle part. Je recommande vivement cet endroit. Espace pour environ 2 à 3 fourgons garés face au réservoir. Nous avons croisé un autre camping-car installé de l'autre côté de l'eau en chemin, mais nous n'étions même pas sur le site lorsque nous nous sommes installés. Cela vaut la peine de faire le tour de l'eau car il y a quelques endroits ici. Parfait.
Nice grassy spot in the side of a small B road that runs around a lake/reservoir. There must have been some logging going on in a nearby forest because a large truck with logs drove past quite late but nothing else apart from that. Extremely quiet because the road doesn’t really go anywhere. Highly recommend this spot. Space for about 2 to 3 vans parked facing the reservoir. We passed another camper set up around the other side of the water on our way over but weren’t even in site when we set up. Worth driving around the water as there are a few spots here. Perfect.
Schöner Rasenplatz an der Seite einer kleinen B-Straße, die um einen See / Stausee herumführt. In einem nahegelegenen Wald muss wohl etwas Holz gehackt worden sein, denn ein großer LKW mit Holzstämmen fuhr erst spät vorbei, aber sonst nichts. Extrem ruhig, weil die Straße nirgendwo hinführt. Ich kann diesen Ort nur wärmstens empfehlen. Platz für ca. 2 bis 3 Transporter mit Blick auf den Stausee. Auf dem Weg dorthin kamen wir auf der anderen Seite des Wassers an einem anderen Camper vorbei, waren aber nicht einmal vor Ort, als wir aufbauten. Es lohnt sich, um das Wasser herumzufahren, da es hier einige Stellen gibt. Perfekt.
Bonito lugar cubierto de hierba al lado de una pequeña carretera B que pasa por alto un lago / embalse. Debe haber habido alguna tala en un bosque cercano porque un camión grande con troncos llegó bastante tarde, pero nada más aparte de eso. Extremadamente silencioso porque la carretera no conduce a ninguna parte. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar. Espacio para aproximadamente 2 a 3 camionetas estacionadas frente al tanque. Pasamos otra casa rodante instalada al otro lado del agua en el camino, pero ni siquiera estábamos en el sitio cuando nos instalamos. Vale la pena hacer el recorrido acuático ya que hay algunos lugares aquí. Perfecto.

Lovely little spot! Very quiet and great for large motor homes too. Stayed overnight and were the only ones there apart from a couple of passing vehicles. Absolutely no phone signal though, great to disconnect!
Wunderschöner Platz, um eine Pause durch die Talfahrt einzulegen oder früher/später im Jahr ABER bei uns Mitte Juni war abends alles vor mit Midges (Mini-Stechmücken), die zu tausenden herumschwirrten und durch jede Ritze im Van kommen. Wir mussten mitten in der Nacht weiterfahren und das bei der Strecke…mit Nebel und engen Straßen…war abenteuerlich.
Marking it a 5 star due to the remote beauty of this place. We had the luck to have clear sky and it was absolutely stunning. That said during the night the wind nearly took us and our motorhome was shaking due to the gust of winds pushing into us.
Amazing little spot, quiet with a very small level of traffic during the day. Went for a dip in the reservoir and spent one night here with no issues. Very clean and peaceful, please leave no trace!
Extraordinary location. There is of course nothing there. No signal even to make a phone call (O2), no bins.
The B Road does seem to be a thoroughfare and some large trucks do pass by. I would recommend entering from the Dam end rather than driving from Talybont. There's a sketchy bit of road, in saying that many people use it.
We loved it here. It is super peaceful.

Stunning views, small fire pit at location. You have access to the water, though I think swimming is not allowed. Saw absolutely no-one the entire evening. No cell reception.
It’s beautiful here. A security bloke drive up about 10am asking whether we’d stayed overnight. Allegedly they’d put up notices (and some of the local motocrossers have taken them down) as it’s a reservoir and there shouldn’t be any over nighting. Really quiet night and mega views though.
