What a fabulous spot. Donald and his daughter Donna are so helpful and friendly. He will tell you so much about the area and what to see. Be sure to visit the local store Cross Stores which sells the best black pudding. Also this site is big enough for bigger vans. For some reason someone has put a review that says only small vans and it is plenty big enough for bigger vans. A special place

Kind owner. Campercars are not allowed, it is suitable only for really small vans, like 5 m long. Our 6 m long van was not OK. They sent us away. It is more a garden of a private house than a real campsite.

Small, simple and modest. It's a great little spot with fresh water and rubbish bins for £12pn and optional electric hook up for £3 Easy payment with PayPal. No sure what other options are available. The standout bit was chatting to the owners Dad, what a legend

Lovely and tiny campsite with a nice view of country landscape and ocean. Dramatic sunsets. The owner’s kindness is unique: he’s always ready to give useful information and satisfy curiosity. Worth spending days there

Off the beaten track. Which makes it perfect if you want a nice peaceful overnight stay. I walked around the locality with lots of interesting old dwellings if you like photography. Also a walk to a stoney beach took me around 15 mins.Pay by PayPal or bank transfer. EHU and water and bins included. Sunsets can be amazing with the right weather. The owner is not on site but her dad lives nearby.

Sehr schöner, kleiner Platz von sehr freundlichen und sehr herzlichen Betreibern. Bei etwas Sonne und dem schönen Blick aufs Meer ein schöner Ausgangspunkt für ausgedehnte Spaziergänge.

Super Platz. Strom und Wasser vorhanden. Alles andere gibt es im nahe gelegenen Ortszentrum. Donna und ihr Vater sind superfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Mit jeder Menge Tipps für die Gegend. Sehr ruhig gelegen mit Blick aufs Meer

Very nice place to stay in North Lewis. Called ahead to check if there’s room for me. Lovely owners with lots of good tips for the area. I was alone with food views and nice dog walks. Drinking water and bins are provided. Good place to stay if you want to park respectfully around the area.

This is a real gem of a place to stay, small with only electric hookup & water. All other facilities available in the village 5 minutes away. Lot of places to walk, local bits to visit, beaches very close by. View over fields to the sea. Lots of birds & wildlife in the area. Donna & her dad, really nice people manage the croft. Well worth the small cost to stay here. 7mtr motorhomes fit easily.

What a great spot. EHU only but fantastic view. Two beaches walking distance away, swimming great at one of them. Visited Port Ness and Butt of Lewis. Stayed here a second night as so peaceful. Lovely people who welcomed us and gave us pointers where to go. Highly recommend.

Toller Platz mit Aussicht aufs Meer! Die Inhaber und die Nachbarschaft sind super freundlich. Wir sind für eine Nacht geblieben und hatten den Platz für uns allein. Perfekt für alle, die es ruhig und naturnah mögen.

I had a wonderful experience at Mardanan's Croft Campsite! It was a perfect retreat for a nature lover like me, with its quiet and peaceful surroundings. The beautiful views of the countryside were truly mesmerizing. Moreover, the host was fantastic, making the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this campsite to anyone seeking a tranquil getaway in nature.

We called in the morning for a spot that evening. Lovely hosts and easy payment process. Father of the lady even came to welcome us personally and gave us plenty of information. Showers nearby in sports center for 3£ - totally worth it.

Excellent plot with hard standing and electric hook up for 3 Vans/Motorhomes, Beautiful views and great sunsets if weather permits. The lady who runs it is very nice and very helpful and gave us lots of tips for places to eat and things to do.

A fantastic stay! We rang and arrived the same day after catching a Ferry late. Arrived at 10:30pm and was greeted by the owner who had driven out to meet us! He was absolutely lovely and super friendly. Very helpful as the site is unmanned he gave us a card and let us know you can use the leisure centre near by for showers and toilet (£3 for shower). The view in the morning was incredible and we will most definitely be returning on our next road trip! Our favourite stop in Scotland by far! Uninterrupted panoramic views!

Had a wonderful stay here the owners were so helpful we stayed 2 nights as hoped to see the northern lights because the starry night sky was epic. Electric hook up, drinking water & rubbish bins there & lovely and quiet. No Chemical & water waste but this can be sorted at community centre just up the road

What a place ! Owners are awesome site is mega and the sunsets are out of this world !! Electric and water for 15 pounds per night

I was here for two nights end of June. Very nice contact beforehand. The place is a bit lonely, but that was just right for me. There is electricity, bins and water.Within 15 minutes walk your are at alovely beach.In the next village there is a small shop and a Charity shop.Not long to drive to port Ness. There is a big Adventure Playground in Eoropie, from where there is a nice wlk to Lighthouse.

Beautiful 3-van site, peaceful as it's set well back from the road. Owners friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome.

Excellent place to stay, and easy to pay. The owners are friendly with lots of local knowledge. Donald pointed us to some stunning beaches. Electric hook up available.
