We stayed here for one weekend night. All night long (from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.) there was noise, strange and frequent comings and goings, and loud music non stop. maybe it's better during the week, I don't know.
Stationnement tranquille dans la rue à côté d'un parc. Beaucoup d'espace. À quelques pas des commerces.
Quiet on street parking next to a park. Plenty of space. Short walk to shops.
Ruhiges Parken auf der Straße neben einem Park. Viel Platz. Kurzer Fußweg zu den Geschäften.

Be careful which road you let the sat nav take you and avoid Back Park View Ave... the clue is in the name but we went down it and it is tight!A lot of small branches lying around from a storm so I'd be wary here if it was windy. Apparently quiet just now because students are away and perhaps that is the explanation for the differing accounts of passing pedestrians
ianscotland27/11/2024We stayed the night hear and it was quiet and felt safe in our motorhome. It also seemed to be a favourite waiting place for Uber drivers.

attempted break in on 22 Nov 2024 @ 12:30am, as a woman on my own it scared the hell out of me, this is the first time anything like that has happened to me, had to move spots. thank god for my vanolarm, think that scared them off. anyways, good proximity to the centre of town but i wouldn’t risk it again. online i’ve read that the area is quite a crime hotspot
OrenFackrell25/08/2024Such a quiet road, absolutely minimal foot & road traffic. Even on Sunday at 10:30am there was little to no activity outside. The only noise that I heard regularly was the planes overhead, but my partner didn't notice them. Stayed two nights on a bank holiday weekend, and didn't bother to move the car and was completely fine.

Great spot for a stop, quiet enough we did have a car floating around at 4 am but not making much noise, I agree it’s best to stop on the other side from the bridge. (Quick note for Scottish travellers, they sell irn bru at the coffee shop over the bridge and on the left - chai walley)

Spent a few nights here as had issues with van and needed to wait for garage. Spot is good, only giving it 3 stars as lots of pedestrian traffic at all hours and late night car meets by youths. Good for access to area and a park, not sure if neighbours might get a bit frustrated after a night or two.

Parked here for 1 night to go to a gig at the Brudenell Social Club - only 10min walk away. Great spot.

As mentioned people do hang around at the far end of the road so I parked nearer the top of the road. Some foot traffic through the night due to it being a residential area and by a park but I had no problems and was great for a one night stop. I wouldn’t be staying here any longer than a night though just to keep the neighbours happy.

Avoid parking at the very end of the street. The railway runs under a bridge there and its a meeting place for groups of youths, plus plenty of foot traffic. Not threatening, just noisy.
