We booked into the site last minute and Ciaran was so helpful and accommodating when we rang asking for a space. Staff are so friendly. Amenities were super clean and well worth the price we paid. Site is very level and accessible. We loved how it was so spacious and was not overcrowded. Lots to do in this neck of the woods and we would highly reccomend it. Will definitely be back!!
Super, schöner und gepflegter Platz. Empfang, Duschen und Wifi top. Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Besitzer. Cliff Viewpoint (steil) mit E-Bike oder bei sehr guter Kondition auch mit normalen Velos sowie gut zu Fuss erreichbar.

Direkt vom Campingplatz aus startet eine wunderschöne Wanderroute über die höchsten Cliffs Irlands. Zudem befindet sich 5min fußläufig entfernt ein schöner Pub, um den Abend entspannt ausklingen zu lassen. Wir haben spontan noch eine Nacht verlängert
Ein schöner, ruhiger und gepflegter Campingplatz mit super liebem Personal. Perfekte Ausgangslage für die Slieve Leagues und einem Besuch im nahegelegendem Pub am Abend. Campingküche, Duschkabinen mit Toiletten und einem Bereich, in dem man bei Regen im Trockenen sitzen kann. Würde jederzeit wieder kommen.
A bright spacious site with good facilities and helpful owners. I loved the shower/toilet rooms - very comfortable to use. Brilliant location at the start (or end!) of the Sliabh Liag loop walk. The proximity to The Rusty Mackerel (people- and dog-friendly) bar and restaurant is a big bonus. And Teelin pier a mile down the road for boat trips. I loved it and I'll definitely be back

Really nice campsite with all the facilities you need & right next to the shuttle for the cliffs. The staff were really nice. Downsides were we were put on a pitch with loads of thistles in the grass and we had a 1yr old wanting run about also the mosquitoes and bugs were unbearable as it got later. & Pizza kitchen wasnt running. Cost €35 for 1night no electric hookup for 2 adults and a 1yr old
Super petit camping ! Accueil chaleureux et sympathique, on s'y sent bien et il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Cuisine, laverie, douche propre et de quoi vidanger toutes les eaux du camping-car. Emplacement plat et spacieux. Cabane à pizzas dans le camping (très bonnes)
Camping très agréable et l'accueil est amical et chaleureux. Le camping dispose de WC et de douches propres ainsi que d'un coin cuisine et de machine à laver. Une petite pizzeria est également ouverte dans le camping le soir et il y a un pub super avec musique et ambiance Irlandaise. Le camping est au départ d'une grande randonnée ( 5h ), le gérant se fera une joie de vous donner les indications.

Beautiful campsite with all facilities near Slieve League cliffs visitor center. Perfect location for shuttle bus access. Very friendly owner allows leaving camper during cliff visits. €35 for 3 people without electric - excellent value! Checkout 12PM. Highly recommended for exploring the spectacular cliffs. Will return!

Ein schöner neuer Stellplatz mit guter Ver- und Entsorgungseinrichtung. 4 einzelne Duschkabinen mit Toilette und Waschbecken, zusätzlich ein Container mit sauberen Toiletten. Plätze für Zelte vorhanden. Idealer Standort für eine Wanderung zum Slieve League (Rundweg mit Abstecher zum Gipfel ca. 14 km). Der Pub The Rusty Mackerel ist empfehlenswert.
Very nice welcome from Kieran. The site is well arranged with clean, modern facilities housed in portacabins. This is one of the best and its situation is ideal for the visitor centre for Slieve League. The inland views are dramatic but the site is sheltered from gales coming from the coast.
Faciliteiten prima. heerlijke douche die je zelf kunt regelen ( eindelijk ). Verder saaie camperplaats maar hopelijk komt dat met de tijd nog. Snap de prijsverschillen van de plaatsen niet want ze zijn allen hetzelfde. Kies dus gewoon het "goedkope" tarief. Wandelen is prima maar fietsen is heel pittig!
Sehr schöner Campingplatz, alles neu und sehr netter, engagierter Besitzer. Perfekte Ausgangslage, um die Slieve League zu erreichen, zu Fuß oder auch per Boot (sehr zu empfehlen). Pub Rusty Makrele in 5 Minuten zu Fuß mit gutem Essen. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit & kommen gerne wieder.
Sehr neuer Platz, schön ruhig gelegen mit sehr freundlichem Besitzer. Gute und saubere Sanitäranlagen, Küche mit Kühlschrank, Toaster, Wasserkocher und Mikrowelle. Waschmaschine und Trockner für 5€ vorhanden. Sehr empfehlenswert.
Lovely stay nice facilities, loads of warm water for showers. Pitches very good. Right beside a cafe and a pub restaurant and right at start of Slieve League.
Extrêmement pratique car a 5mins des falaises. Staff très sympa et camping très propre. Pas spécialement beau mais fait très le travail pour une nuit sur le chemin. 32€ pour la nuit (5€ de plus si besoin d’électricité) avec douches illimités, toilettes et eau/vidange (eaux noires et grises). N’hésitez pas à réserver en amont, il ne restait plus qu’une place quand nous sommes arrivées.
Tolle Anlage direkt an Slieve League. Haben online gebucht und der Empfang war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Duschen heiß, Wi-Fi etwas schwach. Das Pub „The Rusty Mackerel“ ist 3 Min fußläufig entfernt und man kann dort sehr gut essen und trinken.

Beau camping. Tout compris (élec, wifi, douches, ...) 35€ pour 4. Par contre emplacement un peu les uns sur les autres. Proprio super sympa. Départ d'une longue balade autour des Sleave League. Sinon, possibilité de prendre une navette (visitor center) qui vous évitera 3km sur la route.
nous nois sommes arrêtés, après avoir tourné sur l'ensemble des spots "dans la nature" autour, où nous n'avons trouvé aucune place. le terrain est plat, l'accueil agréable et toutes les commodités sont présentes. le lendemain nous avons eu accès aux falaises juste à côté en prenant un shuttle. il y en a toutes les 20 minutes et pour 6 euros par adulte vous êtes directement en haut.
Relativ neuer Platz,kann man nicht verstehen - das trotz Campingplatz,Besucherzentrum & Café/Shop - so ein schlechtes W-LAN ist.Normaler Empfang auch schlecht! Platz groß&geräumt,ein „13-jähriger“ hat uns rein lassen&abkassiert (gut gemacht). Wasseranschluss direkt am Platz.Entsorgung muss man rückwärts fahren,hätte man besser machen können bei neuen Platz.Sonst alles TOP!€40 - Camper + 3 Pers.
Vicino alle cliffs, campeggio molto bello e attrezzato, bagni e docce puliti, servizi comodi e personale molto cordiale.
Wir wollten auf der Durchreise nur Frischwasser kaufen. Kurz angebunden sagte er NEIN. Es gibt nur Wasser für seine Gäste. Das war der 1. unfreundliche Ire, den wir auf unserer 4 wöchigen Rundreise getroffen haben.
Zeer mooi aangelegde camping en super vriendelijke ontvangst. Alle faciliteiten en op drie kilometer van Slieve League wandeling (shuttle voorzien tegen betaling). Wifi is zeer slecht op de camping, soms ook geen mobiel bereik. 35 Euro voor motorhome, 2 personen en elektriciteit, ruime douches inbegrepen.
Camping au top avec un accueil chaleureux. Des commodités super et très propres. Si on avait prévu plus de temps en Irlande on ne était resté 2 nuits. Nous avons passé une super soirée au pub qui est à proximité

Au top ! Le camping est très bien: assez d’espace, 4 douches et toilettes (incluses dans le prix), emplacement plat avec de l’herbe autour si besoin de planter sa tente, une cuisine avec lave-linge (5€) et sèche linge (1€ les 10 minutes), très propre et plat ! C’est parfait !
Arrived 2 July 2024. Hadn’t booked but no problem getting a space. Lovely young lady in reception v helpful. Close to well known pub serving great food. Next door to the visitors centre. Perfect for sightseeing along the cliffs. Fantastic value as showers etc included, as is WiFi and access to a small communal kitchen. (35 erous) . NB there are now 4 Showers plus toilets etc all spotless.
Easy the best spot so far for a night away. Parked up with no hassle. Bar just 2 mins walk and great location
Besitzer ist super freundlich und der Platz liegt direkt am Visitor Center für die Cliffs. Man bekommt auch einige Infos vor Ort. Einzig die Sanitär Anlagen (Duschen) sind leider schon ein bisschen in Mitleidenschaft gezogen worden.
Super Parkplatz um morgens die Wanderung zu starten. Pub ist fußläufig erreichbar. Nette Betreiber und sehr gepflegter Platz. Leider zu wenige Sanitäranlagen, was dem aktuellen Umbau geschuldet sein kann. Wir würden wieder kommen.
Be warned this site is a work in progress with construction work going on at the moment. Only 2 showers and toilets is not sufficient. Whilst we were there the a run was taking place up Slieve League and the site was blitzed. Having said that the location for the cliffs is brilliant and the Pub nearby well worth visiting.
Einzige Möglichkeit zu campen in der Nähe. Zeigt sich am Preis. Finde 20€ für 1 Person ohne Strom etwas zu viel für das, was geboten wird. WC / Duschen in Containern. Wifi (bei Sturm) mangelhaft. Container mit Küche (Nebensaison) geschlossen. Besitzer am Telefon freundlich! Bezahlung am nächsten Morgen vereinbart, trotzdem kam kurz darauf jemand zum kassieren. Wirkte so als traute man einem nicht
Amazing views, close to the sea cliffs and hiking areas. The owner is very kind and provides what you need. Walking distance to a pub with live music most nights and good food.
Schöner kleiner Campingplatz, der in Erweiterung ist. Netter Betreiber, sehr unkompliziert. Laut seiner Aussage 35 Stellplätze mit Elektrik. Untergrund Schotter in ausreichender Größe und Abstand zum Nachbarn und sehr eben. Toiletten und Duschen noch in Containern aber alles sauber. Die Lage ist super als Ausgangspunkt zum wandern und die Klippen von Sliabh Liag zu besuchen.

Great site with wide pitches. Very quiet at night and clean facilities. A visit to Sliabh Liag is a must. Buses leave visitors centre regularly. Restaurant nearby is just ok and a little on the pricey side for what you get.
Lovely campsite. Paid €30 for van and 2 adults and EHU. Showers were €2 paid on the desk but I don’t know how they’d police the fact that if you didn’t pay on check in you could still use the showers. The showers were unlimited water and lovely and warm. Full waste facilities. Good place. Rusty mackerel pub is well worth a visit for lush food, music most days from 9pm
staying here as a last minute decision following a visit to the cliffs. Basic showers for €2. Park was quite empty. Terrible weather which hindered our ability explore. Rusty Mackrell pub 5min walk down the road was great. We managed a table without booking, but book so as not to miss out. Shame we had to head back to the van with our toddler, otherwise would have stayed for the live music.
Nice site in a beautiful location,can get bus next door to the cliffs or even hike it if it's your thing,the rusty mackerel pub about 5 mins walk away,toilets and showers basic enough and only one toliet for men,€20 a night without electric and €2 a shower all in all its good value for what you get.
Nous avons voulu nous y installer pour la nuit, avant d'aller randonner sur Slieve League. Mais pas possible sans réservation. Pas de problème, mais nous demandons à faire les services d'eaux noires, grises et claire... Et là pas possible, même en payant. Très regrettable dans un pays où la vidange des eaux noires n'est pas simple !

Der Platz ist okay mit Sanitäranlagen und einer Campingküche. Man darf nicht zu viel erwarten, alles eher bescheiden, aber in Ordnung. Super Pub in der Nähe!
Zu später Stunde noch einen Stellplatz mit Windschutz bekommen. Super cooles Personal und sehr hilfsbereit. Preis Leistung top! Sanitäre Anlagen ok, alles da was man benötigt und sauber!
Groot terrein waar nu plek is voor 40 campers. De sanitaire voorzieningen zijn slecht. 20 euro, stroom 5 en douchen 2 euro pp. Dit mag nog niet de naam camping hebben.
Ruhiger Platz, perfekt um Slieve League zu laufen. Über Sanitäranlage wurde schon alles gesagt. Freundliche und hilfsbereite Betreiber. Das Pub ist nah und sehr gut. Ver- und Entsorgung möglich und ok. Wenn man wandern möchte, ist der Platz zu empfehlen.
Camping bien placé pour la découverte de Slieve League. Grands emplacements et bon accueil. En revanche, des sanitaires très rudimentaires dans blocs préfabriqués : 1 douche hommes, 2 douches femmes, 1 seul évier avec eau froide dans bloc cuisine. Zone services camping-cars mal agencée. Wifi aléatoire. Le tarif de 30€ avec électricité et douches à 2€ est trop cher pour les prestations actuelles.
Vriendelijk en behulpzame ontvangst. Mooie vlakke plaatsen. Alle voorzieningen zijn netjes. Te weinig sanitaire voorzieningen voor het aantal beschikbare kampeerplaatsen: bij de mannen één douche en één toilet; bij de dames drie toiletten en twee douches. Kleine, maar goed uitgeruste keuken. Mét wasmachine.
Campeggio spartano ma efficiente in fianco al centro visite delle Sleave Leagues. Piazzole grandi su ghiaia. Doccia 2 euro in un prefabbricato. Molto tranquillo. Ottimo punto di partenza per la gita sulle scogliere. Raggiungibile a piedi (500 mt) un famoso pub per cena e musica dal vivo.
Mooi aangelegde camping in opbouw. Vriendelijk ontvangst!! Eigenlijk is alles oké, behalve het sanitair. 1 heren toilet, 2 urinoirs en 1 douche (dames 3x toilet en 2x douche, maar beiden functioneerden niet) voor 35 camperplekken en de nodige vrije tent plaatsen is wel een beetje matig.. daar mag nog het nodige in worden geïnvesteerd, dan zeker 5+ sterren!!!
We stayed here for two nights and had a nice relaxing time. The owners are very pleasant and the site is in a great location. The facilities are a bit on the small side but this is a quickly expanding site so I'm sure improvements are coming soon. Very clean and tidy though. Good pub shirt walk away. Definitely recommend.

Very friendly staff. Good size gravel pitches. Grassed areas are started. Showers could do with attention don't think they will last the season. Great location next to visitor centre. Water and ehu at each pitch. Walk or shuttle bus to Sliabh Liag Cliffs. €25 for 2 adults no ehu.

Yes a good spot for Slieve league cliffs or walk to hill top. Not very busy early Sept. But seemed to be closed later Sept. New showers due soon
Very definitely a yes from me. Friendly and knowledgeable owner who is working hard to make this new venture a success. Excellent pub only a short walk away and the shuttle to the sea cliffs runs from next door. Would be hard to find anything better for the price.

Excellent rustic site but with everything you need. 5 minutes from The Rusty Mackerel (reserve for food !!). Next to Sliebh Liag visitor centre. 2 kms nice walk to Teelin pier. The two guys who run the place are really helpful with local knowledge. Highly recommended.

Campingplatz im Aufbau, natürlich ist noch nicht alles perfekt (bisher nur zwei Toiletten und eine Dusche), das macht Ciarán, der Besitzer, aber 1000x mit seiner Hilfsbereitschaft, Flexibilität und Freundlichkeit wett. In den nächsten Jahren wird sich hier einiges entwickeln. Super Pub und gutes Café um die Ecke und v.a. ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für spektakuläre Wanderungen.
Very good and quiet location. Only 2 toilets, located by reception and only 1 shower, located at the visitor center next door. Not sufficient for a camping in this size. Grey water disposal too high and too short to get under the car. Its a new installation, what a shame it was not made as a drive over.

In de buurt een restaurant/pub, visitor center en arts/craft shop met restaurant. Slieve League Cliffs uitzichtpunt op ca 4,5 km, weg met steile hellingen.
Presently a grand idea! There is a pub with good food within sight, a visitor centre with showers and toilet (free to use) next door and a cafe on the other side (restaurant planned). At present, no ehu, water, chemical waste or grey water on site - all to be available next year. The highest sea cliffs in Europe are an energetic 4 km away, sea trips by boat 2km and a friendly welcome everywhere.
Yes good quiet spot and only new so hopefully in time will get to the standard the lady tells me. Great spot for walking. Pub just round corner.
Support the local just building this new camping. No toilet/shower facilities on site yet but you are allowed to use the facilities of the visitors centre next door.
Just called in to fill with water and use showers. Showers nice and warm and clean, €3 per person. Campsite is only getting set up so using the facilities of the near by visitors centre.
Nosotros no hemos estado en el camping, afortunadamente, pero hemos sufrido sus impertinencias. Un camping sin servicios, ni para AC ni para campistas, que tienen que ir, con su linterna, a usar los del parking, y lavar sus utensilios de cocina en un grifo también del parking. Intentaron echarnos, siendo que no hay prohibición de pernocta. Dijeron que el Pk. estaba cerrado: falso. Mafioso!!
Vriendelijk, behulpzaam, rustig genoeg. Naast het Visitor Centrum gelegen, daar kan je eventueel de Shuttle nemen (betalend).Daar kan je gebruik maken van de WC/Douche/Waterkraan. Geen vuilbak,grijs water, WC ledigen! Betalen maar geen bewijsbon. Kan een mooie plek worden om te staan.
