Lovely rural farm site. We back onto horses and a view of the sea. Friendly host, gave us lots of advice about local travel services. Planned a night, staying two. Be aware turn into drive, it is tight and hill quite steep to camping field.

A wonderful campsite, only for 5 vans, basic facilities, tap, elsan point, grey waste, no toilets but a short walk across the road very clean public toilets, also a fantastic fish and chips restaurant nearby, also WiFi available, all for £15 a night, and discount for extra nights booked, also bus stops on main road too and from Whitby, Julie runs a great little campsite we will be back asap

Ruhig, schöne Aussicht, Wasser und Entsorgung. Die Einfahrt ist schmal, aber kein Gegenverkehr zu erwarten. Julie antwortete prompt auf unsere Anfrage und beschrieb die Anfahrt ganz genau. Fish&Chips Montag geschlossen. Für den Besuch von Whitby parken wir aber lieber auf dem Park&Rideplatz und fahren mit dem Bus in die Stadt.

Perfect location. Julie lovely. Water available, and somewhere to dispose of water too. 4 miles in to Whitby. Bus service straight to Whitby and we got the train back. Public toilets opposite , highly recommended.

Brilliant little site. £15 a night with water but no toilets. Julie is so helpful. WiFi if you need it plus great fish and chip shop almost next door. Peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend.

We just had a wonderful stay at Bonnie Banks. Perfect if you are self sufficient and want a quiet grass field with beautiful views. There's everything in the village pub and fish & chip within 50m. There are black, grey (carry) discharge points fresh water filling all for £15/day. Only 5 places in a spaceous field so do call Julie before going. Thank you Julie, we loved it.

what a little gem owner Julie is so helpful , views of Whitby Abbey. fresh water , grey waste and Elsan point. Public toilet at end of driveway , pub and chipshop .Good bus routes stayed 2 nights and will be back. call and book

Friendly welcome, lovely little place to stop. Ground slopes a little but nothing a levelling ramp didn't fix :) Fresh water, elsan / grey water (not drive over). Just a few minutes drive down to the Park and Ride which has dedicated mhome / camper spaces and £2.60 a head. We came for one night and stayed for two :)

Cracking little site. Lovely owner and awesome chippy nearby.

Excellent site with a welcoming friendly owner who can't do enough for you. Really busy fish restaurant/ takeaway along the road. Bus stop nearby to take you into Whitby. Nice local walks around the area. Highly recommend. We'll be back !

nice site stayed last night but you may need ramps depending on which pitch you get, got the bus to Whitby took about 20mins. local chip shop closed on Mondays so went to the salmon leap hotel down the bottom of the hill home cooked food it was very good would stay at this site again

Lovely site, very friendly. Only stayed for one night but has the field to ourselves. Ate at the salmons leap hotel which is about 5/10 minute walk. Food was delightful and homemade. My partner said it was the best pie he had ever had!

Stayed at Bonnie Banks 6/7/2022. what a fantastic adults only site. We have 6.4 metre motorhome and access was no problem. Julie is a fantastic host, very friendly and welcoming (07780 722061). Lovely views of Whitby abbey from the site and spotless facilities. thank you Julie, we'll definitely be back. Steve, Sue and Buddy the dog.

Had a lovely two night stay here. Very peaceful small site with great views over Whitby Abbey. Delicious fish and chip shop in the village and a couple of nice pubs within walking distance. The host Julie was lovely and friendly. Will definitely return if in the area.

Fabulous site, great views towards the Abbey, homely pub great beer and food across the road, clean toilets over the road, Jim and Ellie, ponies in field Fabulous host ( Julie), stayed a few times, will keep going back when over that side of the country. Best little site over Whitby £10 a night.

Lovely little site, quiet and peaceful. Owner (Julie) is really nice and welcoming. Chip shop just down the road (not bad fish and chips), pub (The Plough) just up the road (nice burger and chips, the ale was good to) so what more can you ask. £10 for our 1 night stay. we'll definitely be back if Julie will have us.

Bonnie Banks is a lovely little spot within easy reach of Whitby. Friendly and welcoming host. Beautiful views.

thank goodness for park 4 night. we have driven past this little site a thousand times and never noticed it. it really is a delight. lovely host. good value for sure and close to Whitby should you wish to go. thoroughly recommended

We have stayed at this small site on numerous occasions often at short notice by call the owner (Julie) whilst en-route. Lovely site with views and quiet! A great pub with beer garden and home cooked food across the road! Public toilets open in daytime across road (no toilet disposal allowed though)!

Unfortunately, we didn't stay this time due to having the children with us (adult only site) but Julie is absolutely lovely and even offered to run us up some local fish and chips as we had set up close by on the blue bank road without realizing we had no tea in the refrigerator!!

Lovely peaceful place to stop at, great location for 'Heartbeat' country and North Yorkshire Moors Railway!

Lovely site and very friendly owner, great views and local pub with food 100 yards away. Bus stop for Whitby or Pickering near and fish n chip shop close too. Nice walk alongside site for dogs and further down to little stream and into Sleights if adventurous. Some noise from road at times but quiet mainly. Will be back.
