Bon spot, jolie vue, parking goudronné et presque plat. Mais alors c'est blindé ! Les vans et CC se collent à vous, vraiment dommage... Je suis restée car c'est l'un des rares spots dans le coin.

Brilliant for the Seaboard, lovely little car park near to the mermaid of the North , great facilities, chemical emptying, showers, toilets, washing machines and water. The water and chemical emptying is free , we used the showers and they were fine , £1 for 2 minutes but they go scorching to cold so bit erratic, we donated £5 , these places are getting rarer so everything helps

Excellent little stopover provided by the local town, easy to pay your donation via the QR code. I didn’t use any of the services apart from the bins!! Nice walk to the local beach to let the dog stretch his legs. Good night sleep with excellent phone signal if needed

Très bel endroit où nous avons pu profiter des services et de beaucoup de tranquillité. Les locaux ont été très sympathiques.

Haben nur zufällig das Schild bei der Durchreise gesehen und standen nun nur tagsüber. Wäre aber sicher auch für eine Nacht sehr zu empfehlen. Bekannte grüne Entsorgungsstation hinter dem Haus. Preis für Waschmaschine/Trockner scheint mittlerweile gestiegen zu sein, habe es ehrlich gesagt nicht verstanden wie und was genau.

Lovely spot. Two min walk to Mermaid of the North. Spar down the road, exceptionally clean toilets and shower. Chemical disposal and tap. Unfortunately the tumble dryer didn’t dry our clothes even after 30mins but expected £2 for ten mins same for showers. 7 vans and 2 motorhomes here in total by end of night. Silent from all of them. The noise came from the locals. 530am someone outside the van talking. 6am someone cutting their grass and then 7am the caretaker arrives (which very grateful for lovely clean facilities) but he opened all the doors on his van and continues to play the radio very loud while walking around watering plants. Lucky we were already up but noticed others were not and soon got woken. Throughout the evening the locals gave quiet dirty looks and even when trying to smile and say afternoon they chose to ignore. Other than that 5star. View was amazing. Shame about the locals not being on board with us van lifers.

Grundsätzlich gut, dass Entsorgung überhaupt angeboten wird, man kann die Station aber nicht anfahren und ist umständlich hinter dem Gebäude, Grauwasser also auch nur mit Eimer oder Kanister. Nur ein Wasserhahn an der gesamten Station. Und das Café hat laut Homepage nur Dienstag bis Freitag 10:30 am bis 2:30 pm geöffnet.

Toller Platz direkt an der Küste. V/E gratis, ebenso Toilette. Dusche 2 Pfund für 2 Minuten. Kleiner Spar in der Nähe. Tolle Aussicht. Standen zu sechst. Sehr empfehlenswert! Spende erbeten und bitte auch machen, damit solche Plätze erhalten bleiben. Ca 200m weiter vorn weitere Parkmöglichkeit auf einem großen Platz.

Parking en face de la poste et du seaboard centre, dédié aux camping cars avec vue directe sur la mer, gratuit. Lave linge et sèche-linge à 2£. Douche 2mn pour 2£. Sèche cheveux. WC gratuit ouverts 24/24. Le tout vraiment très propre. Zone de jeux pour enfants et balançoires. Donation box. Merci à la municipalité de mettre cet espace à notre disposition !

Geweldige plek aan zee. Gratis met alle benodigde camper service. Toilet, betaalde douche, wasautomaat, droger. Overdag wat drukte met auto’s, maar die verdwijnen gedurende de avond. Rustige nacht gehad.

Ein schöner Platz. Gegenüber gab es nur leider eine Hochzeit und war Abends sehr laut. Jedoch direkt am Wasser gelegen mit schönen Aussichten und Möglichkeiten zum Spazieren gehen. Würden wieder kommen, wenn nicht gerade ein Fest statt findet.

Very good spot! Washing machine worked fine, £2 for 14 minutes and everything was clean. Dryer took a long time though, spent £15 drying 1 wash. So you need to take your time for that. All facilities very clean.

Hatten eine ruhige Nacht neben sechs weiteren Campern. Nutzen die Gelegenheit und duschten uns für jeweils £2. Toilette wurde morgens gereinigt und war sehr sauber.

Très bon lieu. Extension du bâtiment ouverte 24h/24. Possibilité de vider les eaux grises et la cassette derrière le bâtiment (petit chemin pour y aller, les eaux grises doivent être vidées au bidon). À l'intérieur, machine à laver et à sécher, toilettes et douche. Un robinet à l'extérieur permet de remplir son eau. N'hésitez pas à faire un don pour soutenir le projet !

Sehr schöner Platz, heißes Wasser, sauberes WC, schöne Dusche, ich schaffte es mit einem Pfund mich vollständig zu duschen. Ein schönes Café direkt dabei mit tollen schottischem Frühstück, sehr zu empfehlen. Auch das nahe gelegene Pub mit Inhaber Mike ist sehr zu empfehlen

Absolutely do not trust the washing machine (does not spin clothes came out soaking wet) or the dryer (run out some of the clothes and put them in the dryer and they came out wetter than when I put them in). otherwise all the other facilities look lovely did not try them. beautiful place to park overlooking the sea.

Wir standen hier für eine Nacht, mit drei weiteren Wohnmobilen (wir mit einem kleinen Camper). Die Straße war sehr ruhig, auch morgens noch. Die Toiletten waren sehr sauber, wir konnten unseren Müll wegbringen und Wasser auffüllen. Die Duschen kosten mittlerweile 2£/2 Minuten – da haben wir dann Nein zu gesagt. Ansonsten super zufrieden und zu empfehlen! Bitte Spende da lassen! :)

Added to avoid confusion, as this is the free parking with appropriate green symbol and the black symbol within 50 yards is the free and paid for service area. This is a great park up which is free but asks for a donation via QR code. Stunning views on slightly sloping tarred surface. The services close by are open 24hrs. Very popular spot and rightly so.

Great services. There is free water and toilet dump, the grey is also free but must be decanted via bucket. Toilet 24hrs and a shower at minimal cost per minute. Washing machine and dryer. A huge thank you to the local community for providing this service. Not to be confused with the free MH parking close by.

Nous avons passé une super nuit! vue magnifique, calme. Idéal pour les familles car il y a une plaine de jeux juste à côté. Nous avons juste vidé les eaux noires. Par contre, j'ai essayé de faire un don via le qr code mais le site n'a pas fonctionné...

Great place. We didn’t stay the night but wished we did when we arrived for the services. Nice parking lot across right on the beach. Bins available. Quiet area. Cafe near the services. Black waste for free and could fill up water but it was near the back which our hose couldn’t reach. Washer and dryer, we used the washer for £4 in pound coins for half an hour which worked nicely. Great spot

This continues to be a first rate facility. Everything you need in a quiet and lovely location. If arriving late it may appear closed but toilet, shower washing machines rooms are open 24 hours. Pound coins needed for shower and washer. Round the back is black and grey waste disposal. Donation for overnight in carpark opposite requested online.Facilities like this need our support so please donate

I didn’t use the facilities but I did stay overnight in the car park for one night on 10-Jan, for a donation. Very quiet area this time of year, although quite windy and exposed. In a 7m I just tucked myself away in the corner and was the only vehicle here but in summer it’s really not suitable for more than a 5-6m. Just moments away from the Mermaid of the North.

excellent facility when desperate for a shower/ washing machine if you have limited funds I'd recommend putting the cash in the shower when you're ready for a shower. clean and water was hot, little water pressure though

do not use.very rude staff.wshing machine cost £9 for a 30 min wash and left our clothes filthy.checked filter which was black & mouldy & dryer same so not drying.£2 for 10mins to not dry your clothes.shower looked ok but staff locked it after we complained about machines.they were very rude & unfriendly.spend your money with people who deserve it.also drinking tap is same tap for black waste

A great,special place! I stayed for 2 days and really felt safe. Great place to eat, lovely views, and everything a camper needs: free toilets, shower, washing machine....there is a nice walk over to the beach. Would absolutely recommend! The Seaboard Centre is open from 10 to 3, so during that time the carpark is absolutely crowded. There is also a playground for kids.

je ne recommande pas vraiment, le cadre est très beau mais les infrastructures laissent a désirer, déjà pour vider les eaux grises ce n'est pas une grille de style caniveau mais un endroit pour vider un bidon donc impossible de vider les eaux grises de notre vans et pour les autres services uniquement en monnaie et pièces de 1£ donc pas pratique du tout.

There were no signs to say you could not park overnight but there was a huge sign asking camper vans to leave a donation, which we did using the scanning code. All facilities were at the centre, clean but showers were expensive at £1 per minute. Local Spar store with a friendly shopkeeper and a warm welcoming reception from the pub. Fascinating village with lovely walks, legends and sculptures.

Schöner,ruhiger Platz mit toller Aussicht auf‘s Meer. Duschen für 2£ / 2 Minuten. Auch die anderen Geräte haben einen gesunden Preis. Dem steht aber entgegen dass man für das Übernachten spenden kann. Also, wir haben schon schlechter bei höheren Preisen gestanden. Von uns klare 5 Sterne auch für die sehr freundlichen Menschen hier.

Wir haben geduscht und die Toilette entleert. 1£ für 2 Minuten duschen. Nur Münzen! Das Wasser zum Auffüllen ist direkt neben der Toilettenentsorgung, weshalb wir dies nicht genutzt haben.

Left 3 stars great facilities we come every year they have massively upped there price for showers used to be a quid for 8 minutes now it’s 1 pound per minute . The pub does a nice pint but food isn’t the best . And a nice local shop to top up ya supplies further down from pub other than that great park up

Brilliant little area with toilet, shower, hairdryer, washing machine and dryer. Toilet waste disposal around the back, water hose is next to the disposal so we didn’t use it for drinking water. Post office can exchange money for coins to use the machines. Great cafe open during the week for lunch, hot drinks and cake. Make sure to leave a donation to keep places like this running

Great clean facilities with lovely friendly staff. stunning beach with lots of sea glass to find. short walk to the mermaid. we notated as its a very good resource and I hope others will use it responsibility. Nice and quiet. Great place to walk the dog in the morning. didn't sample any shops so not sure on that front. Great first stop of Nc500. totally awesome. Brill. blah.

Super Dusche und Toilette. Alles sauber! Achtung: bei der Waschmaschine braucht man mindestens 3£ (30minuten) da das Programm "Rapid 14min" in wirklichkeit 25 minuten dauert. Und die Tür der waschmaschine geht am ende des waschgangs nur mit Gewalt auf.Nicht zu empfehlen.

Superb facility, really clean toilet(donation) and shower(£1 for 8 minutes) washing machine on an hour wash £3 and dryer for a load £1 for 20 minutes took 1hr as it’s a condenser. Chemical drop around the back of white roller garage door with fresh water next to it just a bit close to drop for our liking. Lovely lady in the centre took us around the facilities and sorted out or change. Thankyou

1£ por 7.30m of showers. They say it’s 10, but it’s not. The washing machine is 1£ per 20min. If want you clothes clean, you’ll need at least 3 or 4£ for a normal home program. The quickest is 15min, but your clothes not going to be clean.

Bittersweet. Shower, toilet, black waters and washing machine were perfect. Cheap and clean. On drying machine, After 1 hour and 20 minutes, and 4£, clothes were same wet. It would be great to add a grey water disposal, as in nearby parking there is a fill in tap with fresh water.

Medium sized carpark opposite the centre so easy to make use of the showers/toilets/washing machine. Warning that the tumble dryer didn't really dry our stuff even after an hour or so, make sure you clean the lint filter as this helped a bit and might be fine with a very small load. Community seems really welcoming to vans so hopefully people continue to respect the facilities, not leave rubbish

They have now got a chemical disposal point. Go down the concrete slab path at the side of the washing machine cubicle and it is round the back. If you clean the tap above it you could get fresh water. What a forward thinking community who embrace motorhomes rather than demonising us, Thank you so much

Lovely hot shower. If using the washer 20 mins £1 will wash your clothes on the rapid wash. Using the dryer, dont be caught out as the temperature gauge is minutes. Be sure you have left plenty of time as the dryer takes 1hr 20 mins ~ £4 to completely dry 1 load of mixed cottons. Clean the filter & empty the water which is situated in the draw - top left of the dryer for the next wash.

Toilets open and clean. Showers £1 for 10 minutes still. Wash and dryers £1 each for 20 minutes. Make sure to clear the settings of the washing machine as if the time runs out the machine will switch off and not open.

Really fantastic facilities facing a brilliant free car park. We visited 9.9.21 and they were open, very quiet and really clean. Staff really friendly. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately they have had to close this fabulous facility due to misuse on a regular basis. If you dont want to donate a fair amount then don't use the facility. If you want to use places then look after them or like this place they will close. Such a shame.

FABULOUS Nice hot shower. washer and dryer £1 coins in the meter. Great little find. PLEASE LOOK AFTER IT Leave it nice and clean as this is a fabulous facility for campers. Honesty box lives £1coins or notes;-)

Thanks to original poster for listing this Had a brilliantly hot shower at about 6 this evening Didnt use the other facilities but, of course, I could have! Opposite is a huge car park with no restrictions but please park in the area opposite the centre & not in front of peoples houses. Honesty box for donations, please donate as facilities like this are like gold dust & we must keep them
