Yes, 9 GBP for CDP seems a bit expensive. But on the other hand we really appreciated that facilities are provided as an alternative to established campgrounds.

Used for quick service stop. £3 each for showers. Only one shower had a curtain in the men’s and only two had curtain in women’s. It was cheap enough and we were able to fill up our water and empty grey waste for free but defiantly dated. Dead flys on the floor and window edge. £9 for toilet disposal. Man on desk was lovely and very helpful

Nice secure car park for an overnight stay. £10 fee and had free WiFi. Facilities were clean and staff were very friendly. Around a 20 minute walk to the Lochinver Larder for their famous pies which are amazing.

pour vider les eaux usées, eaux des toilettes et faire le plein, c'est un site excellent et tres pratique dans une région si pauvre en installations permettant de rester en autonomie. Le coût est de 9£ ce qui est globalement conforme aux prix pratiqués pour cette prestation. merci pour cette installation bien flechée.

Leider kein schöner Stellplatz. Wir haben zwar die Nacht gut schlafen können, uns hat der Lärm nicht gestört. Aber die Stellplätze sind sehr klein und eng, zu den Duschen gibt es nur eine Sammelumkleide und von 4 Duschen haben nur 2 einen Vorhang. Zudem sind die Duschen sehr dreckig und bei den Herrenduschen hat der Abfluss extrem gerochen. 9£ für Toilettenentsorgung ist viel zu viel!

Unerträglicher Lärm durch die Ölpumpstation, die direkt neben dem Platz unzyklisch startet. Wir sind weggefahren. Entsorgung 9 GBP.

Thanks to the locals for this facility. We did feel that the toilet dump should have been included with the overnight payment. Quiet night and the cars are all away by 9pm. We didn’t have a negative experience with the fuel station opposite. Beautiful walk in the woods at the hill close by.

came here to get water, center closed at the moment but others managed to empty their tanks ok. but toilet and shower might be affected as they are now only staffed by volunteers till I think 28th of July.

Desidero informare che i due precedenti commenti sono forviati ; la stazione di pompaggio del porto funziona non a orari notturni programmati. Sono rimasto in questa area per due giorni usufruendo dei loro servizi ( Wi-Fi , acqua e scarico grigia su griglia terra gratuiti ) doccia calda a 3 £e scarico wc a 9£ sosta notturna 10£ . La stazione ha funzionato di giorno per solo poche volte per 30 min.

Mais c'est quoi ce service à 10 livres , une station de carburant juste en face de l'air de stationnement avec un bruit horrible, pratiquement permanent, des pompes de carburant qui fonctionnent avec des vibrations, c'est tout simplement du vol et un manque de respect. Passez votre chemin.

A fuir sans hésitation à cause de la station de pompage de pétrole qui est juste en face et qui se met en en permanence comme par hasard à partir de 20h quand tout le monde a payé. c'est honteux de payer 10 livres. Ne vous fiez pas aux 1ers commentaires.

Awesome stopover, stayed with kids and they loved playing in the Softplay. Nice hard standing level car park for the van, very very fairly priced. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Can’t rate this highly enough for the price you pay. Definitely recommend.

Very welcome facilities. Filled up with water (free) and had a shower (£3 per person). Charity community leisure centre, very friendly.

Brilliant motorhome stopover on the NC500 really helpful staff at the leisure centre lovely hot showers and toilets open until 9pm most nights. Pay for the night and facilities at the leisure centre. Worth getting there mid afternoon as a lot already there when we arrived. Also worth a visit is petes restaurant just a five minute walk amazing food but have to book as gets very busy

Im Dorf kann man sich auch mit Lebensmittel eindecken. Es hat eine Tankstelle mit Luftkompressor und Autowaschstation. Jetzt sind wir wieder rundum versorgt.

[Reviewing as a dump station, not as camping] Great community provided dump station. Helpful staff. £9 for black dump. There is now a payment machine on the dump facility. We needed to use a bank card rather than a phone with contactless to make it work. It takes a few seconds to open so just keep trying gently.

Lovely people at the reception, who helped me when I was really sick. Good warm shower as long as you want and free fresh water/ grey water. Emptying the toilet also possible. Not far from town and quiet and flat spot for the night for £10/night. Thank you!

Attention il faut bien suivre le fléchage à l entrée du port et contourner 3 grosses citernes vertes par la gauche .Le site se situe contre la falaise.Avec votre CB vous pouvez ouvrir les toilettes chimiques moyenant 9 £.Cela vous permet de vider les eaux grises et remplir de l eau fraîche .Il y aura une personne au centre de loisirs pour aider si jamais….

This is a perfectly adequate overnight parkup with chemical waste disposal, grey water disposal, and fresh water. The pumping noise from the fuel tank depot close by didn't bother us as it wasn't that loud. This site is run by a local charity, so it's not always manned. There is no EHU.

Used the facilities. The woman at the desk seemed fairly hostile and not the most welcoming which is bizarre given the other comments. 2 of the showers were out of order. The water was good and warm. £3 for the showers

Staying overnight tonight. The chemical emptying point works perfectly, emptied grey waste and filled with water. The chap on reception couldn’t have been nicer and threw in a couple of free showers for us. The place is in a bit of disrepair but showers are clean and hot. Views aren’t the best but it’s been quiet since arriving at 8. The leisure centre is run by a charity so do pop by and donate if you can. Free water, free grey water, £9 black water by contactless, £10 overnight stay - includes wifi.

The noise mentioned in another comment has its origin in a fuel pump station. It was running for 30 minutes in the evening then stopped for the remaining time of our stay. The price for parking went up to 10£.

Hard to find as signage not very clear. Spaces in the car park of the small leisure centre. £10to park overnight. Payable in the leisure centre. Toilets in the centre can be used. Showers and chemical toilet emptying at extra cost. Value for money. Very quiet place . Easy walk into Lochinver where there are a few shops and cafes. Walks around the harbour and forest walks.

We filled up with fresh water plus emptied our grey water and bins here. We didn’t need to use the black water disposal set up but paid the £9 to support the Leisure Centre given it’s a charity (and the black water system clicked which maybe means it’s working again? Not sure.) Good overall set up and appreciate the services being made available.

prima voor de nacht. enige in omgeving wat degelijk is. vriendelijk personeel en je mag gebruikmaken van de faciliteiten van het leisurecentre. drinkwater ook gratis. iets doorlopen is een mooi bos, dus zeker ook geschikt voor honden hier. je kan daar prachtig wandelen!

Went to empty a full loo but the CDP is temporarily out of order today as it is blocked. Now £9 to use (contactless). Have used this aire before though and is a great place to onload and offload all your waters normally. You can also stay there the night for a fee which I think includes use of loos and showers during day.

We really appreciated this stopover. It's £10 per night including fresh water and access to toilets when the leisure centre is open. You have to pay extra for the black waste dump. A nice walk into Lochinver. We were going to stay at the freebie one over the road but this was much nicer, and the leisure centre is a charity too. A very quiet night.

This is why this app is so good… found this place through the app. For the motorhome it had water and grey water disposal (2 taps). The chemical water wasn’t working though. Then £3 for a shower, brilliant. Hot water, plug for a hairdryer and even able to shave my head. Absolutely brilliant place.

Stopped here for shelter from a storm and this place was brilliant. £10 per night, however there is fresh water, grey water disposal and use of the toilets and showers during leisure centre opening hours. Staff in the centre were also really lovely. Lochinver is sweet and there is a nice woodland just behind the leisure centre.

Showers didn’t open till 11, £3 for showers. £10 for overnight stay although the marked areas are too short for motorhomes. Plenty parked up overnight but didn’t stay ourselves so unsure of noise

It is still possible to stay the night. It is now £10.00 per night. This should be paid to the reception of the leisure centre (they’re open 11:00-21:00), outside of these time leave a £10.00 donation in the silver box by the entrance.

Même une étoile est fort donné alors que le système des déchets noirs ne fonctionne pas et qu'il faut payer 9 livres pour les services sans que ce prix ne soit afficher sur la borne. c'est honteux et cela ne fait que renforcer notre sentiment sur l'Ecosse, un pays qui ne pense qu'au business tourisme. On comprend pourquoi les anglais viennent en France.

Nous y sommes pour remplir en eau potable. C’est impossible de vider les eaux noires, c’est en panne. Par contre pour dormir ce n’est pas l’endroit idéal, au fond du port …..

The stop is perfect for the night at £10 per night with free water and grey waste disposal, extra to dispose of black waste. The lady in the sports centre reception is very helpful and you can use the toilet facilities, showers are £3. Try the famous Lochinver pies from the Lochinver Larder.

Really cool place to dump your dirty waters (9£ for toilet water, but grey water is for free). Also, free drinking water but with low pressure, which is cool, some time for push-ups :D Overall, it's a really cool place with the option to stay for the night for another 9£

The spot itself is nice and quiet and flat, good to have all these Motorhome facilities but it was a lot when adding all the services together. Have to pay by card to access chemical waste (can’t open it without it) £9, £9 for the stay. The leisure centre was shut as bank holiday so didn’t use showers or toilets but there were toilets in town. Free water and grey waste disposal. Pricey overall.

Perfekt für den Service. Haben die Tonne nicht aufbekommen, als wir die Toiletten Kassette bezahlt haben, wodurch wir zweimal zahlen mussten. Jedoch haben wir die Besitzer kontaktiert, woraufhin eine Rückzahlung veranlasst wurde. Wir haben keine Nacht verbracht, es war aber laut während wir Nachmittags dort standen.

Don't bother, avoid at all cost. They charge £9 to park, then charge another £9 in hidden costs for services. If you want to use the showers in the leasure center thats a further £3. Its situated right by a fueling station for the trawlers which makes an awful racket (10- 15 mins at a time) while refuelling the boats!

A brilliant find in this out of the way place. Huge car park, limited to 3 guests, at full featured leisure centre, where for £9 for the night you can use toilet and shower facilities 11am-5pm. Could even have used the fitness Suite (I didn't!) And good WiFi signal too. It's opposite the boatyard, but quietly tucked away. 5 minutes walk to Peets (quiet) or Delilahs ( more lively) for food/drink

Stopped over in Feb. Helpful staff on site. Make sure you go to the leisure centre car park rather than follow the postcode, as that is a residential area.

Not the most picturesque place but quiet enough and close to local restaurants. Showers were quite dated and could do with a refresh, but still better than smelling! Really useful to have the services however.

Super place to park up for a night to explore and eat and drink in the cute little town. Would come back. Wi-Fi was a plus. No electricity.

Pay £9 and you get nice flat park up, shower and Wi-Fi code to use leisure centre. We showered twice, used tap to fill up water and bins. The people in the leisure centre were very friendly. Local Spar in village and plenty of food places. The public toilets were closed in the village. Definitely worth £9.

Die Zufahrt ist zwar etwas verstörend, weil man über das Gelände eines Schrotthändlers muss und der auch schrottreife Wohnmobile auf seinem Platz stehen hat. Aber nicht abschrecken lassen! Die Aussicht ist zwar unschön, der Platz aber sauber und die Leute des Sportcenters sehr nett. Für 9 £ die Nacht voll o.k. Man steht auf Pflaster und es ist fast Windspiel. Sehr ruhiger Übernachtungsort.

Looks like a good facility but be aware we turned up here on a Sunday ready to get clean and it was closed! Monday to Saturday only 1100-2000/2100.

A great community enterprise to support the motorhome community. It's worth clarifying the charging structure as the chemical waste is different to the park up. GBP9 for a level hard standing with sports centre showers and water with a drive over drain is good value to me. Another GBP9 to release the lid of the electronically sealed CDP is less so but you don't need it daily. Sharing is possible.

very quiet location, stayed the night for £9 and filled up with drinking water. as others have said another £9 just for chemical waste disposal. for £18 I'd rather pay to stay in a campsite

Good location next to the leisure centre overlooking the harbour. Restaurants nearby plus a pub. Quiet night - we were the only van. Can use toilets in the leisure centre between 11am and 8pm. Showers also available for £3. Can get expensive though - £9 to park overnight, another £9 to empty black waste plus showers. Easily adds up to campsite prices for what is a car park.

Great place to stopover,we had 5 other motorhomes along side us,pay £9 at leisure centre you van use these facilities (showers ,toilets,chemical toilet dump and fresh water)what more can you ask for...oh and real fish and chips at a good price from An Cala cafe and bunk house just round the corner

Only used this space to empty and rinse our loo and fill up with clean and drinking water. Now £9 for the experience and contactless payment next to toilet disposal. You can still stay in the carpark. Trust the coordinates, even if you feel like it's taking you somewhere strange. Handy stop off for us.

Stopped here just for a shower. We each paid 3£ and couldn't ask for more after 4 days driving around the Highlands.

Was just here to fill water up, went into the facility but didn’t need to pay to fill up water only a small cost to use any waste disposal and £5 to stay over night. If centre closed you can leave money in box outside!

We stayed here on Friday 15th Oct. The car park is now closed, barrier across and work being done on the building. we decided to join two other campervans that were parked up on the street outside, no signage preventing overnight night stays. very quiet well we were there.

Chemical waste disposal is now £8 and only available during leisure center opening hours. Car park currently being renovated so no parking available.

Very quiet and flat. Ideal for a stopover. Site is actually in the Harbour, follow the signs for Assynt Leisure Centre. Free if you don’t need water or a shower. Went to Delilahs for Lobster & chips (amazing) and stocked up on pies from Lochinver Larder. Overall my favourite place in the NC500!

Looks like a promising facility. Not open on Sundays if you are hoping for a shower and they close only on Saturday (5pm). Sign on door however mentions that they are not currently available unfortunately. Disposal unit and drinking water available still as aforementioned. Little disappointed about the shower but at least the dog doesn't mind me stinking!

Small donation for overnight stay. Showers not in use still but toilets are open until 2030. We were also given the WiFi code.

Didn't stay here but serviced the unit. Showers are unavailable at the moment. "FRESH WATER TAP Apologies, on request by Scottish Water, we are unable to provide attachments or a hose to the Fresh water tap. The tap is required to be moved further away from the camper toilet. If you can make use of the tap for filling water bottles please do so. We hope to have this issue resolved very soon."

This is an excellent venture to be wholeheartedly encouraged. I was really looking forward to a hot shower, but unfortunately centre doesn’t open until 11am. We tried staying overnight but noise from tanks (gas?) right alongside was too much. Drove round corner. Shame the harbour authority doesn’t collaborate by providing more suitable overnight spaces.

Very friendly and helpful staff in the leisure centre, thoroughly enjoyed our night here. A small donation got us access to toilets and a lovely hot shower. The freshwater filling station was temporarily down for upgrade works (as of 29/06/2021), chemical toilet/black water disposal was up and running though during the visitor centre opening hours though.

Stayed here, £5 for use of facilities and £5 donation to stay the night with space for up to 3 vehicles. We had 3 children with us and the very kind lady on receptionist desk offered to put the bouncy castle up for them! We couldn't believe how kind they were. Cannot recommend them enough!
