In mid-september there were lots of cars. The town is quite popular so it is hard to park there. Beware Google navigated us trough the center of the town. It is quite impossible to go with standard camper. We had a difficult time to turn around. So stick to the main road until you see the spot.
Wir nutzten diesen Platz, bevor es dunkel geworden ist, für die Nacht. Platz war in Ordnung, ist halt direkt an der Straße und man hat öfter Autolicht- aber halb so wild.
Eine fast weiße Katze mit lautem Miauem hatte großen Hunger, vielleicht hast du ja auch etwas Katzenfutter ...wenn sie satt ist, geht sie wieder ihre Wege.
In season, this little town is tough to visit. The parking is always full and also the road to the city is full with parked cars by the side. If you want to visit anyway, drive to the nearest town and rent a scooter.
Niemand hier weit und breit um diese Zeit. Limeni ist aktuell wie ausgestorben: Regen, kühl, keine Saison. Wir sind einmal durch den Ort bis zum Friedhof gegangen und dann wieder weitergefahren.
We only parked to walk around the swanky up-market village if Limeni. everything was closed in December. We would not have stayed overnight, as next to busy road. No bins here or in village. Fine for larger motorhomes.
Il parcheggio è pianeggerete, in ingresso al Paese, acqua turchese, molti pesci, abbiamo nuotato con una tartaruga, peccato aver trovato un simpatico biglietto rosa, mittente Polizia locale…, vedi foto
Abbiamo parcheggiato solo un paio di ore per bagno veloce e vistare il borgo.
Troppa confusione, si rischia di rimanere bloccati.
Noi non abbiamo trovato posto nello slargo, ma abbiamo parcheggiato lungo la strada
La baia è una meraviglia anche se molto affollata ad agosto. Fate però molta attenzione, abbiamo parcheggiato il camper lungo la strada per visitarlo per solo mezz’ora e al nostro ritorno abbiamo trovato il finestrino rotto e ci hanno rubato alcune cose all’interno del camper!
