One of the most beautiful views to wake up to! Signal was a bit hit and miss with O2. Enough space for 3 vans comfortably. Don't confuse with other parking spot opposite beach entrance as that has zero signal and lesser views!

Sehr schöner Platz, perfekt für einen Zwischenstopp. Für eine Übernachtung ist der Platz für uns zu nah an der Straße.

Had a great night here in January. I was going to stay in the small carpark further down the hill, but there was no 4G there so I found a nice level spot at this one and had the place to myself overnight. A little windy but quiet otherwise. Gorgeous views and beach.

Toller kostenfreier Platz mit super Aussicht auf den Strand. Keine Verbotsschilder vorhanden. Platz für circa 3-4 Wohnmobile. Straße ist nachts ruhig.

one of our favourite spots when up this way. spent two nights here without a bother. left our van and walked upto smoo cave, beautiful walk, the cheese toastie van a little further up is a must! remember and take a shot on the zip line before you leave

Ich habe 2 Tage hier gestanden. Traumhafter Blick auf das Meer und den Strand... Ebbe und Flut mit anzusehen, war ein kleines Erlebnis. Ich würde immer wieder hier her kommen.. Leider kein Mülleimer. Auf dem nächsten Parkplatz sind dafür 2.

Beautiful spot, the beach was gorgeous and very quiet. We parked side on facing the beach on the road side as its July and midgy Central and far less on this side. Citronella candles are you friend lol

Great spot with view to the beach. Road is just beside but no cars from sunset to sunrise. No facilities, no bins.

This is a great spot. plenty of parking. Cross the road to an amazing beach. Very quiet night with three campers.

Best view you could imagine, quiet even though the main street is passing next to it.

Incredible view of the beach, not too far from facilities. Can get very busy and not the most level but it's worth it for the view.

Stayed there one night. Went to sleep under the rain and walk up with an amazing sunny view on the beach. Not super leveled but apart from that, wonderful spot !

Stayed a view nights ago. Such a beautiful view, had beach to ourselves. Two other vans when we stayed. Toilets up the road at smoo cave. Bins in the car park. Just stunning.

Wow! what a park up. Incredible views overlooking Ceannabeinne Beach. Space for about 4/5 camper vans /motorhomes but on a slight slope. Get there early enough to secure a spot as it fills up quickly. Highly recommend!

Place with superb view. Quite overnight, but could be overcrowded by other travellers.

Amazing views and stunning location, the Hilton of wild camping spots! The wind picked up in the wee hours making our Motorhome impossible to sleep in so we departed early which was fantastic in the end because the sunrise as we were driving east was absolutely beautiful!

Loved it here. The beach is stunning. Open to the elements. Weak signal on EE and no signal on o2. Didn’t see any bins around.

Gutes Internet Signal welches uns zum Essen und Fußball schauen vom Platz 150 Meter entfernt hier hin brachte. Für größere Mobile nicht geeignet da richtig stehen schwer wird. Mit Van oder Bus sehr gut geeignet. In der Nacht genau wie auf dem anderen Platz absolut ruhig.

Beautiful stop. Amazing ocean views. Soft Caribbean type sand. Would love to stop here in the summer but imagine the parking would get tight. Zip wire and Cliff drop (weather permitting)

Wow! Toller Schlafplatz an der NC500 mit direktem Blick aufs Meer! Obwohl hier noch andere schlafen ist es sehr ruhig und in der Nacht nur wenige Autos auf der Straße! Man kann direkt an den Strand gehen. Öffentliche Toiletten finden sich 2.8mpH entfernt.

Gorgeous views. Parked up in the small lay-by looking right down onto the beach. It was winter and there was just one car with caravan. There would have been space for another camper too, but several surfers were in a van several hundred metres further East in the main car park. Bins in that car park and toilets with hot water are a short drive into Durness.

So good we had to stay for two nights. Got an amazing feel to this one. Best stop so far

Stunning views over the bay. Good O2 4g coverage. No wc or bins but bins 2 min walk to the other car park which is busier. Just on a slip round off the road but very quiet. Would recommend

Car park for Golden Eagles Zip Line. Spectacular views with easy access to a beautiful white sand beach. No midges, meaning we was able open the back up with amazing views all evening. This is by far the best spot on NC500. No facilities but the centre of Durness is a few minutes drive with a shop and public toilets. Bins are provided and the area is clean. Plenty of space for 8 or more campers.

Stayed in a layby a little further down on the opposite side of the road. Very popular, spaces full at about 6/7ish. Right next to the beach. Bins on site, but no other facilities or mobile signal.

By far the best place we stayed while doing NC500. The views are absolutely amazing. When we stayed there was many campers. Lovely atmosphere to be in.

Absolutely stunning spot. Beautiful beach. A few campers and cars for wild camping. A tad windy, but didn't affect us too much.

Best place we've stayed on this trip so far. Beautiful view of the beach, enough wind coming off the sea to keep the midges at bay. We were first here at 6pm, but were joined by another van and a motorhome, plus 2 cars for campers who set up down the cliff. Still much less busy than the one just up the road - they're packed in like sardines in there!

This parking is next to the Zip line, there is no sign saying no overnight parking, awesome views looking down at the sea. No service’s, we arrived late and left before the Zip line started. We had a peaceful nights sleep with 4 other car/MH’s

Amazing views with incredible sunrise. A couple of parking spots one of them for a few campervan the other just 2-3 places. Quiet at night. Many tents around the beach.

Best spot I have parked at while doing the nc500. The view in the morning was amazing, the beach is stunning, and when we went in November we had the beach to ourselves. The spot is on a bit of a slope, but nothing to major.

Beautiful place to park up for the night. No signs regarding overnight parking. Large bins provided and high verge to recognise roadside/car park. Amazing views to wake up to and direct access to this beautiful beach. Smoo Cave car park with toilets is just few minutes drive away.

This is a viewpoint. Not an overnight parking place.

Amazing spot, our favorite in Scotland during a 10 days trip. Arrive early to secure a good view of the breach, only cars of people setting up tents down the beach when we were there with our Motorhome, also very windy and exposed which makes the Motorhome move a bit during the night.
