Looks very deep mud here also limited space, I’ve just been but am moving on. Might be nice in the summer but now (early April) I would avoid.
Petite place enherbée. Un banc. Pas de commodités. Vue sur la rivière, départ de balades. Parking étroit pour 2 ou 3 voitures / campervans uniquement. Pas de panneau interdisant le parking de nuit. Traffic M6 audible.

KeithMc25/06/2024Looks like there’s a motorhome that’s been parked there for quite some time. Area is boggy and strewn with litter. The grass along the canal verge is overgrown. Nicely sheltered from the sun though.

This is a lovely spot with a nice bench and plenty of grass errs to chill in . But it’s small and I think quite popular. There was no space for us to pull in when we arrived and there wasn’t any other nice spots near by. Luckily the people already there let us just park behind blocking them in as they weren’t rushing off and we were planning to leave in the morning. Worth having a back up plan.

Good overnight stop off the M6. Some road noise but not bad.
Travelingwithernie12/08/2023Good spot for the night. Definitely only for 2 vans max! Set of traffic lights just off the bridge so can get loud with farm traffic through the day and evening depending on season.

Great view, quiet over night. Space for two vans. No boats seen during our stay. Would recommend!

A great little spot for stopping over if heading North or South. Two vans including us, both VW’s. A bit tight for any thing bigger or more than 2. Fairly quiet over night. Yes one canal boat moored up, but hey, it IS a canal! :)

Great spot for one or two vans / cars. If you walk over the bridge and head east up the canal there's a little cafe that does amazing food and good prices.

Brilliant spot, nice and level and nobody else here. Has a bench there, opposite side of the canal so nobody walking down. I presume canal boats Moor up here but nobody about when we were. Decent pub nearby aswell that serves great food

A picturesque spot by the canal. Could hear the noise from the motorway. We stopped for lunch. Probably wouldn’t stay overnight unless stuck for an alternative
