Au premier abord on croirait une casse à bus ou un repaire à joyeux lurons assoiffés. un peu éloigné du château , mais loin du bruit de la route. un torrent passe juste derrière pour nous rappeler que le loch Ness n’est pas loin. eau claire et rejet cuve eau grise , bravo pour ce lieu sans acceuil. Complique pour trouver la bonne porte ou jeter l’enveloppe.

Easy to find and about 30 minute walk from Drumnadrochit. 3 other motorhomes here. Space for about 10. Grey waste outlet, toilet disposable and fresh water tap available. No other facilities. Secluded and peaceful. Pay at the honesty box in the red coach. Good value for simple park up overnight.

Grand espaces délimités pour chacun des vans/ camping cars, pas d’espace vert à part une petite rivière toute mignonne. Pas de sanitaire ni de douche par contre, à faire attention. Personne pour bous accueillir ou nous guider sur ou trouver quoi ( apparement mise à dispo d’électricité que nous n’avons jamais vu). Espace facile d’accès

O lugar é super gostoso, fica a 3,5 km do castelo, caminhada bonita pelas fazendas.Tem serviço de água, agua suja, e cassete, só não tem EHU. Dormimos muito bem no silencio da mata. Pagamos 10 £. Obrigada pelo conforto oferecido .

Buon posto per scaricare e caricare (niente elettricità) a una ventina di minuti dal villaggio. Il costo è 10 sterline a notte da avere in contanti e metterle in una busta da imbucare in una porta. Non c’è nessuno nell’ area e usano un vecchio autobus come reception all interno del quale ci sono tutte le spiegazioni. Posto silenzioso e tranquillo. Per Inverness bisogna prendere l’autobus.

Thanks for providing this facility. It unfortunately rained so didn’t get to sit out on the benches, hopefully next time. There were 5 MHs the night we stayed and all was very quiet and peaceful. You will need hose or watering can to fill.

Ein wunderbarer Platz. Bagger und blauer Bus irritieren etwas. Ansonsten alles, was man braucht. Ruhe, Wasser, Abwasser, Toilettenentsorgung,Preis dafür top!

Die Anfahrt ist schon gewöhnungsbedürftig. Navi hatte auf den letzten 200 Metern eine andere Route gewählt. Auf dem Weg dorthin waren viele Gebäude scheinbar unbewohnt. Der Platz ist nicht einladend. Alles so verdreckt und runter gekommen. Müll und Glas scheinen wochenlang nicht geleert worden zu sein. Das erste Bild in der Beschreibung ist nicht von diesem Platz. Wir sind nicht hier geblieben.

Sicheres Übernachten, saubere Anlage. Ehrlichkeitsbox. Morgens um 8.00 wurde bereits mit einem Kantenschneider der Platz bearbeitet. Sollte das der Besitzer gewesen sein, war er leider nicht wirklich freundlich. Für einen Zwischenstopp aber gut geeignet, im Bus sind trockene Sitzplätze. Da hat sich jemand Mühe gegeben, wirkt aber noch etwas unfertig.

Unique aire - hard standing marked spaces, flat with fast flowing fresh water and well designed new black waste unit. No EHU at present.Very quiet near main road around Loch Ness. Very secure.

Zugegeben, der Platz wirkt auf den ersten Blick etwas trist. Aber er liegt gut erreichbar, abgeschieden vom Verkehr sehr ruhig und bietet mit Ver- und Entsorgung alles was man benötigt. 10 Pfund sind sehr fair und auf jeden Fall das Geld wert. Stromsäulen sind abgedeckt und außer Betrieb, aber die hätten wir auch nicht benötigt. Standen hier mit zwei weiteren - von uns 5 Sterne.

Great place to stop. Peaceful with all the facilities you could want at an exceptionally low price. A local supermarket, urquhart castle and the shore of Loch Ness are all reachable on foot. There is also a walk through the woods into Drumnadrochit and the Loch Ness Centre. The site is currently closed due to the selfish behaviour of some visitors who have abused the facilities. :-(

Dormimos el 28/10/2024 para vaciar tanques, llenar agua y cargar baterias. Todo perfecto y tranquilo. La recepcion es el bus rojo donde hay los sobres para dejar los 10£ en el honesty box (esta indicado justo al entrar como hacerlo). Encontramos 2 campers más ya en el lugar.

A rustic and quirky site. No it’s not luxurious but it’s a tenner a night with basic facilities. Nice and spacious and a lovely quiet location. A great dark sky to giving us a sight of the Milky Way

Bit run down, and has an East German feel. The grey water point is perfect and there’s nothing wrong with the fresh water point either, but I did use my own hose. Lovely peaceful night. Great walks and cycling straight from your door. The only downside was the toilet / black water emptying point. It doesn’t flush and reminded me of the worse toilet in Scotland , from trainspotting.

10£, +5 for EHU. Quiet, nearly empty, wouldn’t use fresh water facilities here because they look quite old and dirty, but nice stay for 1 night.

Wir waren dort fast alleine. Der Platz ist sehr herunter gekommen, aber ruhig und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Die naheliegende Stadt ist sehr schön und die Wanderung in der Gegend hervorragend.

Leider ist der Platz sehr ungepflegt. Aber er ist ruhig gelegen.

Cette aire de service n’a rien de très jolie mais fait le job quand il n’y a plus de place nul part dans le coin en plein mois d’août! L’occasion de faire le plein d’eau et de tout vider à un tarif raisonnable.

Mostly leveled gravelground. Everything else was terrible. The only toilet is also the chemical toilet dump station. Never have been cleaned. Ten pounds way to much for this service. We would not recommend.

Fantastic stop over for the lovely town of Drumnadrochit. Costs £10 per night including grey waste, black waste and water. Extra £5 for electric. We stayed two nights and it was lovely. Short walk into the town and lots of lovely walks around. A small Coop nearby for supplies. Definitely recommend.

Terrain pour camping car avec quelques places. Au calme avec la rivière qui coule à côté. 15£ la nuit avec l'électricité. Tout pour vider les eaux et il y a de l'eau douce. Très bon spot avec un prix vraiment top.

nice quiet spot with easy access to Loch Ness and the surrounding area. we used waste disposal but not hook up. couldn't find the water tap to refill our tanks, but we didn't look too hard. good spot for £10.

a quiet night stopover no answer at the owners door, the ehu points were full of water and not working the water tap had frozen so no water available and the toilet had frozen so unable to flush, £10 was a little steep for what was parking in a scrap yard with the facilities not available, popped the money through the door with a note and our contact details but the proprietor never called.

Für eine Zwischenübernachtung sehr gut geeignet. Wir haben eine Wandung zum Viewpoint Loch Ness unternommen. Aufgrund des hohen Wasserstands des Flusses kamen wir nicht ganz dorthin. Trotzdem schöne Runde durch den Wald. Ver- und Entsorgung - alles vorhanden. 10 £ ohne Strom / 15 £ mit Strom. Die Umschläge für das Bargeld sind im roten Bus; Einwurf bei Dave‘ Rest im Briefkasten an der Einfahrt.

Great place, easy, honest based payments. Very quiet all the services needed are here ( electric, black / grey water, rubbish disposal... Plenty space. Just turn up and park. Good place as a start for your touring around this part of Scotland

Perfekt um das Nessie Center und die Ruine zu besuchen. Versteckt hinten drin, daher völlig Ruhe. Strom, Entsorgung und Versorgung vorhanden. Entleerung mit einem festen Fäkaltank kaum bis gar nicht möglich….. aber paar Hunter Meter weiter auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz ist eine Entleerung kein Problem. Bezahlung bar oder Paypal.

Stayed for one night 27/08/2023 There was only a couple of motor homes/ campers. Didn’t bother with electrics as we didn’t really need to. Had a very peaceful nights sleep. In the morning I walked the dogs up to the falls. It was a steepish road but as I went early it was quiet. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely stay again. Many thanks and much appreciated

Lugar perfecto para quedarse a pasar una noche o varias y así disfrutar de paseos por la ciudad y el Lago Ness. A 20 minutos del pueblo a pie. Tiene mesas y juegos para hacerlo más acogedor. Zona muy tranquila. No se percibe nada de malos olores. Muy recomendable por todo y por el precio. Nos volveríamos a quedar aquí.

Gute Alternative zum ausgebuchten Campingplatz Loch Ness Bay. Wir sind spät angekommen und es waren noch genügend Stellplätze frei. Wenige Minuten zur Ortsmitte und zum Loch Ness Center ( sehr gut gemachte Ausstellung für alle Altersklassen.

Janet was amazing. couldn't of been nicer. Showed us where to go next on our trip. Rough nd ready. We had 3 nights wild camping and stayed there for 2 nights. Filled our water and emptied waste water.

le concept est super, le nécessaire est présent mais une heure après notre arrivée je ne supportais pas l'odeur, ça sentait vraiment fort (animal mort ?) je suis donc parti ailleurs malgré que j'avais réglé pour la nuit. notre voisin du soir est également parti pour cette même raison.

Top Stellplatz. Preislich sehr fair und eigentlich ruhige Gegend (bei uns hatten ein paar Kühe laute Unterhaltungen). Services auch vorhanden.

Rustige plek. 20 minuten rijden van Inverness vandaan. Handig vanwege faciliteiten. Erg prettig. De weg er naar toe op het laatst is aardig smal voor een grote camper.

Wir waren dort. Leider hat der Stellplatz im Moment geschlossen (war jedoch auch Off-Season). Schade, wie hätten gerne dort übernachtet. Die Einfahrt ist für größere Wohnmobile relativ eng, aber gut möglich.

Great if you need EHU, my diesel heater broke and it was -4 so this place was a blessing as I was able to use a electric heater because I was plugged into their electricity.

En arrivant l’endroit semble un peu vague mais franchement Parfait pour une nuit. Très calme. Services dispo ( vidange, eau et électricité)le paiement est autonome il faut déposer les sous dans une fente de boîte aux lettres un peu plus loin ( merci de le respecter )

Wollten die Nacht dort verbringen, da aber die Anlage eher weniger einladend war und die Sanitäranlagen geschlossen war, haben wir die Nacht am Campingplatz verbracht.

Es un sitio bastante bueno, y económico para lo que es Escocia. Se paga en dejando el dinero en un sobre que coges en el autobús rojo, es un sistema basado en la honradez de la gente. No hay vistas y está un poco alejado de lago pero para una noche está bien. 10 £ y 15£ con electricidad

Showers and toilets still locked, but electric and water all good, children liked the old bus and tables and chairs outside. Certainly a bit different. Payment is trust based, we sent £15 via PayPal. Walk to cafe eighty2 great vegan and gluten free food.

4 étoiles pour le prix, petit parking très bien mais attention, en autonomie ! ne pas s attendre à un joli camping avec de jolie toilettes. ceci dit, encore une fois, pratique et peu cher, payés 13£ pour passer la nuit, vider les toilettes et eaux grises un plein en eau.

We stayed here for 1 night, no booking facility just turn up. There were only a few other vans and EHU no problem. We paid £13 in total for everything. We had a quiet night and would stay again. Pub within walking distance and nice walks with the dog nearby. Great value. There is an old bus offering communal seating and chairs and tables outside.

Stayed there for a night, were able to use electricity, fresh water and waste disposal. Since there is no "reception" or anything, we were able to arrive late at night, setup our electricity, and next morning dispose waste, top up water and leave. Quiet, there were still many empty spaces, very useful if you need a palace to use facilities and not much else

Very convenient with fully served pitches, with EHU and water. Waste and grey water can be deposited onsite. It is run on an honesty principle, where you pay for your stay with money in an envelope (£10 per pitch, plus £3 EHU) which can be found in the old bus 'reception'. This is then deposited through the door of a nearby house. Only downside was shower/toilet block was closed during our stay.

Very convenient stopover... we just needed the basics... water top up, electricity and elsan.... so much cheaper than a campsite... £13. Very quiet and peaceful. No toilets or showers but that's no problem... public toilets in the village if needed.

Really peaceful. Directions made it easy to find. Nice to see all the sheep and lambs on the way in.

A brilliant stop, well worth the money to stay, empty elsan and top up water. Payment is via an honesty system, the red bus is the unmanned ‘reception’. A 25 min hike up to Divach Falls. Co-op/food places within walking distance. Would definitely recommend.

Great overnight stay. Tidy, clean, safe and very accessible. We stayed there with 2 other vans so plenty of room. Bins and recycling really convenient. Would rate 5 stars but toilet and shower block was closed. Highly recommend for overnighters.

Great find, only knew about it from the park 4 night app. we stayed one night after visiting Loch Ness. Quiet little spot and outdoor seating available. A total of around 8 motor homes the night we stayed with space still available.

We called here 2 times just to do the needful and both times the place was empty! A great little find and one that I am sure will become more popular as more people discover it! Whoever Dave is, he’s onto a winner!

Good value quiet spot at end of a residential cul de sac. All essential amenities for emptying & refills. A rocky and shallow River Coiltie is accessible literally over the fence & our teens enjoyed some splash & wade there. Site is not manned, so honesty box applied, even for buying the eggs. Well situated for Nessie spotting & Urquhart Castle. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely stop, only 1 other camper. owner provides tables for eating outside. everything you need. spent agreat night there refilled and emptied everything. even got some fresh eggs. But please respect that it is in a residential area and dont spoil it for others. pay either by paypal or honesty box

Great place to stop over. We stayed 2 nights (max allowed) and walked a small bit of the Glen Affric Way. Gravel, flat, peaceful. Overnight stay with ehu £13. Very friendly owner who owns a motorhome herself.

Turned up without booking, only 2 other vans here, spoke to the nice chap who works here who explained they have now extended and there are spaces for over 20 vans. £13 a night for a sprinter van with two people including electric, paid via PayPal, couldn’t of been easier. We we’re the only MH there, very quiet night. You pay at the honestly box with cash or PayPal £10 a night extra £3 for electric. We stayed 1 night with electricity. We didn’t use the services. A nice 1.2m walk to the Falls of Divach from campsite.

Very handy place to get water, empty cassette etc. Please make sure you pay. if no one in reception honesty envelopes in green bin. instructions on wall of reception portacabin tells you where to leave money.

Spent three nights here last weekend. It was good enough to bring me back on my way back south. Toilets etc are closed but for £10 a night and being able to empty waste and refill with water it is well worth it. Was even able to swap some books that I had read for some I hadn’t. Remember the honesty box though people or pay through PayPal. It’s these type of facilities that we have all been wanting so let’s support them.

Just spent the night here, was perfect for what we needed. We paid £13 for the night which included electric hookup. Toilets and shower were very clean. Only a ten minute walk from the closest pub, The Loch Ness Inn. We only went for a drink but was very popular with people eating, and the food looked good. Takeaway only 15 mins down the road and just a little further is more shops and cafes.

A fairly new place and still a work in progress. Very nice and welcoming owner. Has everything needed, toilets shower and a kitchen with a microwave oven. Even some dvd's to borrow. Black and grey waste disposal and fresh water to take on board. £10 for the night, £5 just to use the facilities. Very much needed in the area.

Just used Dave’s rest.. it was perfect for us. Filled up with water, dumped dirty water, and had a hot shower. We aren’t staying the night so just £5 pounds for all facilities. Apparently lots of people not using the honesty box.. remember to pay to keep places like this going!

An "ok" place. Definitely not nice location/ nor atmosphere.s. however: considering there ain't many places like this it's a good spot to fill up and empty your tanks, even have a quick shower... No need to spend the night, but for the service aspect this place is great! The small kitchen only consists of a tap with hot water and a sink - the oven ain't working.

Buen sitio para pernoctar, tiene todos los servicios ya que en este pais hay pocas areas de este tipo.

Easy check in. Very good for the price, with shower, water refill, small kitchen and dish clean-up. If you come with kids, there are courtesy DVD's that will entertain them. I am happy for having found it.

Excellent Aire with lovely clean shower/toilets. Great location to walk into Drumnadrochit for food/drinks etc. We will be back!

L'accueil est très chaleureux. L'endroit promet énormément. La douche chaude, les wc, l'évier de cuisine avec eau bouillante et 4 taques électriques extra. Une aire de services avec eau potable - excessivement difficile à trouver hors camping dans les highlands - vidange des eaux grises et noires (k7), vraiment une aire comme on voudrait en trouver des dizaines dans ce pays très difficile pour bivouac
