Becomes a lorry park in the evening and then you will be awoken at 4 am onwards by them warning there cabs by turning on their engines for 15 minutes before leaving . Most of the car park is slopping . This is not forward thinking of the council this provision is so lorry’s can stay .

park on the flat in bottom corner. close to the river walk. very quiet night. free parking 6pm till 8am. woke in morning and bought ticket for the day. £8. spoke to the friendly traffic warden , said Powys council really don't mind campers unlike others. lots of food outlets in town and public toilets onsite.
Great stopover. We’re 7.5m Motorhome were worried we might need 2 tickets as lengthwise we took 2 bays. Nice Traffic Warden confirmed as long as paid £8 daytime tariff for Motorhome you can park anywhere. Free overnight 6pm to 8am. Great walk up Milford Common. Plenty of eateries, takeaways, supermarkets. WC in car park.
Good free stop from 6pm-8am but expensive for 2hours (£5 ) so moved off early. Had nice walk along river/around park with dogs in evening
Stayed overnight Saturday 20/04/24. Very quiet felt safe. No other moho here just a few cars. Nice Chinese takeaway 3minute walk away. We ordered by phone and was ready for us on collection. Will return if in area. All good.
just parked up, still raining ! all quiet at the mo, not expecting any bother, have visited this many times, looks better in the daylight & not raining!!
Stayed here Thursday night last week. peaceful and felt safe. Nice Indian restaurant just around the corner.

stayed here last night .2 adults 2 dogs .huge carpark .with bins and toilets although closed over night we think disabled loo is open . plenty to do as shops , pubs few min and park area an river Severn.. deffo recommend. thank you park 4 night
Nice spot to park up. Plenty of green space for dogs to run. Cafe Kiosk opens in the morning. Toilets open all night . Definitely a fabulous spot to park overnight.
The start of the evening didn't go too well. groups of kids and joyriders taking over the car park, doing donuts etc but things started to go quiet after 2300. the rest of the night was pleasant. toilets do close at night but think they reopen at 6am. disabled toilets are always available with the radar key.
Large car park by the river and the town centre shops and pubs across the road. There was a couple of boy racers racing around the car park but it didn’t last long. Had a very peaceful nights sleep. Toilets on site which were either open all night or open very early .
Great carpark for a night's stay. Plenty of spaces and we stayed at the bottom near the river. It was nice in the morning to go for a short walk along the river.
stayed over Saturday night no problems at all .going for a bike ride along the river today. very quiet area . recommended. good pubs chippys etc 2 mins walk
We arrived Friday night, nice and quiet, couple of cars left in the car park and the odd lorry driver having a sleep. Couple of late dog walkers and the odd courting couple but nice and quiet otherwise
Stayed here overnight,large carpark so plenty of space . clean toilets . few boy racers but gone by 10pm ,apart from one car which kept coming back through the night
We stayed here in the car park no problem accept boy racer meeting at TOP end of car park. Park at very bottom nearer the river for a quieter night. Felt safe as police patrolling..Fantastic cycle route along river and Montgomery canal to Welshpool.
Spent a Friday night here, excellent place, nice town, only downside, boy racers around until 10.30pm, best to park nearer the street as they were at the top of the carpark.
Very quiet car park next to the river and large park. Great for dog walking. Toilets on car park. Nice well looked after town. Amazing no litter anywhere.
