Our favorite Mtn pass camping in the Dolomites! Fantastic views, quiet at night, crazy road traffic during the day in early September. Some spaces are pretty level. Many campers park there. Pay 3€ for toilet behind the museum, 1€ for toilet at Rifugio Valparola (farther away) if you don’t buy coffee or a brownie. Great hiking, climbing and via Ferrata nearby.
Von allen Parkplätzen entlang der Pässe in den Dolomiten bisher der schönste! Toller Blick, toller Sonnenuntergang, nette Wanderungen, etwas uneben aber einfach auszugleichen.
Vistes increïbles però terreny poc anivellat. Nit molt tranquila amb companyia d'altres campers però a primera hora del matí es nota l'augment del trànsit.
Abbastanza pianeggiante se si trovano i posteggi giusti. Vista magnifica e tranquillità assicurata. Linea 4G quasi assente. Nessun servizio.

Great place with great views and atmosphere but close to the road. No facilities. Mind the temperature is much lower than on the lower grounds. Because of cold wind you feel it's colder than 'oficial' temperature ;)

A tiny bit noisy from road. Lots of campers, but still 5 stars for the views and access to hikes. Please respect the area. War museum next to carpark was not open during the hours we checked. We did the Sass de Stria hike from the war museum and ventured through the amazing WWI trenches. Parts of it have via ferrata supports but we managed without equipment. Highly recommend this hike.
Beautiful spot with access to hikes. Other campers arrived in the afternoon/evening but area did not fill up.
Superbe vue. Du monde pour la nuit, mais nous n’étions pas tassés. Balades et randos à faire. Aucun service. Route très calme la nuit. Pas de réseau.
Plusieurs parkings (dont un seul payant, qui ferme à 17h30), dont un avec une très belle vue (et pas mal de places) et deux autres avec des vues très correctes (et également un nombre de places correct). Plus grand monde à partir de la fin d’après-midi (on y est en septembre). Et au début de la randonnée de Kaiserjäger ! Spot parfait pour partir tôt le matin !
Incredible views of mountains and glaciers and a very quiet sleep. Lots of cars stop for 5 minutes to take a photo and leave. This stops in the evening. Toilets located 200m away just below Military Fort museum (leave a donation).
Très bien pour une nuit! Assez prisé, c’était quasi complet. Plutôt calme malgré la route. Le restaurant du refuge en contre bas est très sympa, prix corrects!

super spot, très calme, nous avons passé une nuit dans la neige, avec les chamoix et les marmottes. il y a 2 parkings de part et d'autres du musée de la guerre, attention, le parking du musée est payant, il faut aller sur un des 2 autres.
Ottimo spot per un paio di notti, abbastanza in piano con vista spettacolare. Perfetto per visitare il museo nelle vicinanze e come partenza per numerose escursioni (sentiero del kaiserjager, Sass de Stria, ecc.). Poco traffico, la sera bellissimo il tramonto e cielo stellato meraviglioso!
Great spot, quiet and no bother from anyone. Amazing to wake up with a view of the mountains super close to all the hikes/climbs/via ferrata etc. Pretty high up at the pass so gets very cold at night.
All is already said, it's a wonderful spot. Many hikes and via ferratas to explore. We Stayed two nights and it was perfect!
Big parking under the road. I would say 40 cars. Beautiful spot (and the sky during night!), but no services. We saw few similar places on that road.
Parking au bord d'une route. Très calme la nuit. Paysage grandiose, on est à 2170m d'altitude. 15 places environ. Pas de service. Gratuit.
Vue extraordinaire ! Nous avons passé une nuit calme et reposante, avant de partir en randonnée le lendemain matin ! Le funiculaire pour monter à 2800 mètres d'altitude n'est pas très loin ! Ça vaut le coup de venir ici, nous avons adoré !
Vista eccezionale, posto tranquillo per passare una nottata a costo zero. Nessun servizio ma rifugio a poche centinaia di metri. Museo della guerra a pochi passi, ben curato e da visitare.
Perfetto per una notte, sulla strada ma di notte molto silenzioso e abbastanza distante dal passo Falzarego, troppo affollato per i nostri gusti.

Perfect! We stayed only one night beceause of bad weather. Refuge only 4 minutes walk away to go to toilet.
Vista stupenda, nessun servizio ma molto tranquillo. Consiglio di arrivare al tardo pomeriggio quando vanno via le macchine arrivate per le escursioni giornaliere.
