Good spot for the night we had two other campers, felt safe, still lots of road noise even though it's well set back off the road, it's very flat, if the weather hadn't been torenchol we'd of done the scenic walk with the dog. no internet service all in all a good sheltered spot
Stayed here a few times on different occasions and seasons. Never once had a problem here. Ground is nice and flat. I found the road noise minimal. It didn’t keep me awake as a light sleeper. It’s not the best place in glencoe but it offers a lot of shelter from wind. Will probably stay here again.
Top Parkplatz und Übernachtungsplatz. Morgens ziemlich laut durch vorbeifahrende LKW aber aushaltbar. Auch super um sich nachts die Sterne anzuschauen.
Excellent little spot in Glen Coe. Set back off the road so you’re safe enough but you can still hear the traffic flying by (no big deal really). Gorgeous views. Phone signal weak but 1 or 2 bars is enough. Start of a nice hike along the Lairig Elide here and up to Stob Dearg as well (I think). Nice enough spot, with at least another 6 or 7 vans. Would recommend !!
Einzigartige Aussicht mitten in Glen Coe. Verkehrslärm mehr als gedacht. Leider konnte man abends die Aussicht nicht wirklich genießen, da die Midges uns auffrasen
Prachtige plek! We sliepen hier een nacht met verschillende andere campers. Mooie wandelroutes vanuit hier. Wij hebben hier wel geen bereik gehad.
Belebter Parkplatz. Wir haben eine ruhiges Nacht hier verbracht und eine schöne Wanderung mit unseren Hunden auf die Spitze des Berges gemacht.
beautiful. probably best over night spot you'll find in the area. no signal tho and prepare yourselves for the midges... dayparking for hiking around the three sisters down the road (go early as it's extremely busy!)
Sehr schöner Platz, nachts relativ ruhig. Tagsüber wird der Parkplatz viel von Wanderern genutzt, es gehen einige Wanderwege direkt von dort ab. Wir haben eine Nacht dort gestanden und die Natur genossen.
Was very noisy, cold windy and wet lol lol. Was ok for a free night stay. Plus side such surrounded by beautiful mountains.
Vue magnifique sur ce parking bruyant en début de soirée mais nuit plutôt calme. j'aurai tendance à le déconseiller si vous êtes équipé de tentes de toit car le vent peut souffler fort la nuit
Parking plat avec de nombreuses places. Pas au point de départ de la randonnée de la Vallée Cachée mais sur le parking suivant. Gratuit, sans services. A côté de la grande route de la vallée qui cause quelques nuisances (travaux + camions). Dépanne bien et est moins utilisé que le principal.
We had a great night sleep! Amazing views and the ground is flat. We felt safe during the night. We can definitely recommend this place!
great stop over , some road noise but nothing too bad. good sleep and it's in my favourite place ... Glencoe .
Please do not abuse this car park (see further down the glen). Please ensure that the car park has sufficient space after your arrival for the hillwalkers to park. This is the reason for the parking in the first place. If it's half full, please go elsewhere.
Parking calme et gratuit . Magnifique spot juste à côté. Rien à dire! De la place pour une dizaine de camping cars.
Guter Stellplatz, nicht sehr laut, und man kann abends noch eine kleine Wanderung in die Berge machen. Wir sind die HauptStraße bis zum Moor rauf und runter gefahren, und uns dieser am besten gefallen.
Lovely stop just before Glencoe - set back from road and pretty flat- just what was needed but in winter can get wild and cold so be prepared.
Super spot, la vue est magnifique, aucun problème de bruit mis à part des travaux vers 23 h sinon rien. Nous étions 3 vans et 3 camping car.
Great free spot next to small lake and river. we found it reasonably quiet for being so close to the road and has a great night of sleep. Arrived at midnight and there was still space available.
Stayed for one night in a camper, 4 other vans so felt safe. Flat car park set slightly back from the road so quiet at night, traffic didn’t bother us when it started in the morning. Good starting point for trekking into Glencoe
Great place to stop. flat and quiet at night. a few cars and lorries in the evening and morning. but not loud.
Très pratique si vous souhaitez faire une randonnée au petit matin! Mais la route est très passante et le parking pas forcément très agréable.
Lovely view over the loch. Unfortunately, a bit of litter in this spot. Road noise is quiet from 8/9pm. Great spot for 1 night.
Car camped here last night. Decent sized car park. Arrived about 7pm and left about 7am. No facilities. Felt safe as there were others parked up too. 4 camper van's and another car. This is on the edge of the main road through Glencoe so traffic noise may disturb you. I was fine with it, switched off to it fairly quickly.
Had a short stay Saturday 5th June 2021. There were 4-5 other campervans/mohomes. Didn’t hear any noise. We parked up late ish (21:30) and was on our way again at 06:00 to Skye. Didn’t see any rubbish about and there’s no signs saying you can’t park/sleep overnight. Good spot. Would use again.
Stayed sat night. Road noisy with lorries all night! Sign says cars and light vehicles and there was 7-8 large campers! There are better places in Glen Coe I would say
