(TA22) The Anchor Inn

stayed for one night the pub was shut for a event so called the number on Google and a very friendly landlord answered said not a problem to stay . nice and quite through the night and a few cars in the morning but hardle no noise and very clean . highly recommend

Very large car park opposite pub , lovely place to overnight seems very quiet stop so far ,sadly the pub had finished serving food when we arrived, but booked breakfast for following morning ( served from 9 till 12)

stayed 5th may had a nice meal and a few pints friendly staff,was very busy as there had been some horsey,thing going down that day,when we left in the morning we noticed a fair bit of litter had been dumped but not by the vans but by the cars that had parked there,shame people have to do it. lovely spot

Lovely car park right next to the river. Pub are happy for you to stay for free as long as you have a drink or some food there. Very pretty and peaceful place to stay.

Level and quiet spot next to the river. Great friendly pub, staff fantastic. Loads of room to park you choose the perspective view from the van. Recommended

Very friendly staff. No problem to stay there overnight. A few others did as well. Near by the river, so perfect for a swim and a play with the dog. I just drank a beer at the pup and it was fine.

Flat parking near the river, booked a table and checked they were happy for us to park (which they were). Food is reasonably priced, good portions and was really nice. Will definitely make it another stop over in the future.

Super pub, endroit très jolie et bucolique, proche de la rivière avec une très belle terrasse. idéal pour passer une nuit au calme.

Full but looks great. Stayed in Dulverton at Guildhall carpark pay and display The place opposite is also free at weekends a local lady told me after I'd bought my ticket

A lovely spot. Massive car park. Priceless views from river bank. Lovely staff, no pressure to eat so we drank. And drank!

Great carpark for campervans, loads of space and it's flat! Great walk along the river for the two dogs. Had dinner in the pub - stunningly large portion sizes and very welcoming. obviously a locals local as well.

Overnight stop with a pub meal. Big level car park opposite side of road to pub. Parked next to the river. Very tranquil and dog walking option beside car park. Pub meal very good staff welcoming and good atmosphere. Dogs welcome will be back.

Free parking in large level car park next to the river. Use the pub and tell the staff that you want to stay overnight. We often go here have a beer and a meal then stay overnight. Pub has lovely garden and can be busy in summer.

Excellent place to stopover. Landlord welcomed me to stay overnight in the car park if using the pub. Quiet and good nights sleep. Pub is in beautiful setting on riverbank and food was good. Loved it all !!

Fabulous spot, with parking overlooking the river. Pub is fantastic, with great food, open fires and welcoming staff. We will definitely come back here again

Stop serving meals at 6pm and the police come round at 10pm every night to move you on dont wast your time going to this spot

Just went for a run out today and thought I’d try Exmoor and followed sat nav to here, went in for a carvery in the pub opposite and they let us take our meals to our van as we have a dog and didn’t want to leave her alone, Excellent service and meal , gorgeous views of the river and plenty of places to walk the dog, will come back here again

Parking is owned by the pub so please ask the landlord and try to use the pub if you can, beautifully located next to the river and lovely bridge... Landlord is happy for you to stop for one night
