Easy and central stop, nothing special but easy access to shops and riverside walk. Very busy parking area but clean facilities. Stayed for 1 night. No hassle, but cars come and go until late.
Grand parking sans aucun signe d'interdit pendant la nuit, donc il devrait être bon de rester ici il y a d'autres camionnettes.
Big free car park next to a nice river walk. Can be busy & usually a number of vans & lorries parked up also, access and exit for motorhomes may
be difficult at times. Toilets onsite, short walk to town centre.
Großer kostenloser Parkplatz neben einem schönen Flusslauf. Viel besucht und oft voll, Ein- und Ausfahrt für Wohnmobile kann manchmal schwierig sein. Toiletten vor Ort, kurzer Fußweg zum Stadtzentrum.

k8foxy20/05/2025Great, free town centre car park. Lots of locals park here so many spaces already taken but still plenty for us campervan crew. Surprisingly v quiet overnight and toilets 50p (cash only) but v clean. All locals were very friendly too. Can also recommend Bradleys Garage Llanidloes - incredibly friendly and helpful when warning light came on with our camper.

Can get quite busy. Well turned up at 10pm and it was pretty full but it’s free with toilets and a river walk nearby. The town has amenities as well.

As others said right next to the river and quiet. Signal good on EE, everything you need in the village which is 5 mins walk along beautiful streets. Only signage says after 7 days motorhomes will be removed ! Don’t overstay…. Haha. Toilets open in the day, 40p but door was often open. Great little spot
ClusteredNomads21/01/2025Really handy stopover. Busy car park but was quiet overnight. Park over in the corner, as lorries come in by the entrance. Toilets open in the day for 40p but there is a 24/7 accessible loo: please don't use to empty your cassette toilets. Town has an array of handy shops inc a Spar, chip shop, pet shops and brilliant hardware store.

Very convenient right beside river. At 6.5m we are just about max size and lucky to find a space.

The car park was quite full when we arrived and there were a few other vans staying overnight. The toilets are 40p per use and are very clean. Background noise here and there but not enough to disturb a good night's sleep. Good little park up for one night.

it's a car park but considering how close to town and pubs surprisingly quiet at night. town has a good selection of pubs and cafes. residential properties close by so respect these and leave no trace afterwards and I think this will be a great little stop over for many years

Markprice30/06/2023nothing special about the carpark, we were only passing through, but the town is very old and quaint and well worth the visit. carpark is still free and toilets were 40p,I didn't mind paying, they were very clean and well stocked with hand soap and paper.we were backed up towards the river,and it would have not bothered us staying overnight if we were not moving on.

we parked here for a Saturday night before a Sunday beach day. it's a lovely small village, with great chippy.... shops with all you need and a small supermarket on the way out to stock up. quiet night, the only noise was people leaving the local pub but it was very minor.
balot7806/06/2022sympa pour une halte de nuit. nous y avons passé une nuit avec un autre camping-car,très calme juste le bruit de l'eau de la rivière.Grandes places entre les voitures le long du chemin (7.5m). toilette sur le parking (0.20£) Pubs accueillants dans la ville. Dans les alentours,aucun parking pour dormir (selon les panneaux)

Great place to park overnight right next to the river and with clean toilets for 20 pence. Can be busy but quiet overnight. Lovely town. 2 good pubs and a fish and chip shop within short walking distance. Note: do NOT enter from the Short Bridge St direction, too narrow. Enter via the China St/Smithfield St direction

Can recommend the Mounts Inn. Had a great meal there when parked up. Toilets close about 8:30 and open about 7:30

Nice quiet night, some ither vans here as well, lovely pub as you come into car park. nice village has every thing you need.
