Nous sommes arrivés vers 20h30. La forteresse était fermée mais en demandant gentiment au gardien de nuit il nous a ouvert la barrière du parking du bas et laissés y dormir. Le parking est très légèrement en pente mais offre une magnifique vue sur le coucher du soleil.

Great place with amazing sunset views. The guard came to ask if we are leaving or not and told us to move to the lower parking. But it looked like he was not sure if he’s gonna let us stay or not.

Ich kann mich meinen Vorredner nur Anschließen toller Ort, tolles Wachpersonal sehr sehr nett. Wir verbrachten eine Ruhige Nacht an dieser Sehr schönen Burg die eine schöne Aussicht bis weit auf die Karpaten bietet.

So einen Platz gibt es leider viel zu selten. Hier ist es ruhig und entspannt. Der Nachtwächter konnte deutsch, wir konnten uns sehr angenehm unterhalten. Der Panorama Blick ist überwältigend.

Wir verbrachten hier eine sehr ruhige Nacht. Die Gestung ist nur noch Ruine aber mit super Panorama. In der Festung arbeitet ein Töpfer mit sehr schöner Keramik. Der Nachtwächter war sehr, sehr nett. Wir durften Wasser füllen, er hat uns extra aufgemacht. Ein grosses Danke, schade gibt es nicht mehr solche schönen Plätze.

Ein perfekter Ort zur Rast. Die Festungsanlage ist einen Besuch wert.

We arrived in the evening, and the parking lot was already closed, but a very friendly security guard opened it for us and allowed us to stay. He spoke great German. It was a quiet night, and we felt safe.

Llegamos al mediodía, preguntamos en la taquilla y sacamos dos entradas para ver el castillo 3€ cada una, nos dejaron pasar la noche. Cierran a las 19.00. Hubo gente normal que vino a la tarde/noche a dar una vuelta pero sin ningún problema. Noche súper tranquila. Recomendable.

We arrived late so it was clsed for the night. We haven't tried to find the guard to let us in so we drove away.

Sitio plano com boa vista. Não dormimos mas fomos convidados pelo segurança a ficar. Pareceu-nos que seria muito tranquilo.

We pulled into the upper car park but were told by the man on duty to park in the one below overnight. This is because they pull a chain across the road at night stopping access. Peaceful night, great views.

Wij mochten hier zonder problemen overnachten op de onderste parkeerplaats.

место красивое. охранник не разрешил оставаться на ночь,сказал ехать в другое место. мы отъехали рядом в поле и от туда видели,как и другой Автодом получил тотже ответ. лучше не ехать туда для ночлега, так как скорее всего,не разрешают остаться. рядом есть поле,но это не выглядит безопасно.

Platz zum Übernachten, wenn man sonst nichts findet :) Wir haben auch die Burg besucht, ist für 3€ sehenswert. Der Nachtwächter war anfangs etwas mürrisch, dann aber nett. Konnten ohne Probleme stehen, er hat uns einen Platz angewiesen. Toiletten sind von 20.00 Uhr bis 08.00 Uhr geschlossen. Licht auf den Parkplatz sehr hell. Tolle Ausblicke auf die Burg bei Nacht.

Très beau parking et très propre avec accès aux toilettes. Nous sommes arrivés vers minuit et le concierge a eu la gentillesse de nous faire rentrer car il y a des chaînes qui bloque le parking la nuit. Le parking est gratuit.

Passamos a noite, tinha mais carrinhas por perto. Foi tranquilo. Fomos visitar o castelo, 3€ por pessoa!

Wir kamen spät an und standen auf dem unteren Parkplatz. Die Absperrung haben wir selber entfernt und auch wieder verschlossen. Als wir geparkt hatten kam der Nachtwächter, begrüßte mich mit Handschlag und meinte kein Problem ;-) Die Nacht war ruhig und man kann die Burgruine gut erreichen.

Lovely quiet location underneath the castle walls with amazing views. steep access, long units will ground out. No facilities except a refuse bin.

Die Aussicht ist einzigartig und der Sonnenuntergang ist klasse. Sind einige Tage hier gestanden und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einfach Klasse!

Bel parcheggio con vista mozzafiato delle montagne innevate, ai piedi delle fortezza. Sorveglia un custode che chiude il parcheggio la sera, ma presidia l'area h24, basta chiedere di entrare per dormire e vi apre. Bagni della struttura aperti dopo le 9. Visitate la fortezza, è bellissima e costa poco. Ottimo per una notte prima di arrivare a Brasov.

Parking tranquilo, los responsables del castillo muy amables, a 10/15 minutos del pueblo andando. Pasamos muy buena noche. Recomendable!

Noche súper tranquila. Llegamos de noche cuando la valla estaba cerrada. El guardia se nos acercó y le preguntamos si podíamos dormir ahí. Nos dijo que sin problema y nos abrió la cadena. Súper majo. Por la mañana visitamos el castillo, muy bonito

stayed 1 night we felt secure and had a quiet night we were also to empty our toilet into the public toilets after asking at the ticket booth.

We checked with the security to confirm that is was ok to park overnight, which it was. We felt safe and secure in the knowledge that the area was guarded. We were the only ones staying overnight. Toilets available in the day, cafe and gift shop on site. 15 minute walk into the town, but an uphill challenging walk back up the hill.

Parkplatz liegt direkt an der Festung. Wir fragten den Nachtwächter, ob eine Übernachtung möglich sei. Er zeigte uns den "unteren" Parkplatz, dieser ist mit einer Kette verschlossen, wir durften diese öffnen um dort zu schlafen. Wir verbrachten eine ruhige Nacht am Fuße der Festung. Der Parkplatz ist gepflastert und eben. Abends waren Hunde zu hören. Spaziergang mit unserem Hund war möglich.

Excelente lugar para pernoctar. El guardia de seguridad nos indicó donde aparcar. Además por la noche cierran el parking con cadena. Seguro y tranquilo y por supuesto con unas vistas estupendas!

Een nachtje heerlijk gestaan. We hebben het even gevraagd aan de man bij de kassa die vertaalde het naar de parkeerwachters. We kregen een plaatsje aangewezen waar we de camper konden neerzetten. prima mensen.

Perfect parking for going to see the citadel. We did not spend the night.

in den vorherigen Bewertungen ist alles schon gesagt. Wir waren noch in den Restaurants Case del Gusto ( ca 1 km hinter der Burg auf dem Fußweg in die Stadt) empfehlen wir gern weiter, war sehr gut.

Sympa de laisser les voyageurs dormir sur le parking du site gratuitement. On apprécie ! La visite du château est également sympa… y aller en tout début de matinée, nous étions seuls.

Płac pod zamkiem, oficjalnie zamknięty po 18, ale ochroniarz pozwala wjechać na noc. Bez udogodnień , cisza i spokój w nocy

We came when park was already closed. But security man opened it for as to stay for a night. The view is great, good internet connection (with local SIM card).

Nice place near the castle. Place for cars is big. About 9.30 pm closed securite guy the parking place but we could stay there. Toilette was closed.

Fantastic location. Historic citadel with beautiful views over the countryside. We were welcome to stay. It was very quiet. We could also dispose of our rubbish. We were offered the use of the WC until closing. Very flat paved area with small undulations.

Sehr schön, haben hier für eine Nacht geparkt. Die Aussicht ist Bombe und der Nachtwächter mega freundlich. Über etwas Trinkgeld wird sich gefreut ;)

Parking lot of the castle. View on it and on the hills around. 2021/08/16 only another camper arrived late: the guard opened the chain for them to park and spend the night here as well. He doesn't speak English but will come to ask if you stay overnight when castle closes. The main road is distant so the night was very quiet. Would recommend!

Belle vue sur les collines et le château. Quelques jeunes plus bas ont fait un peu de bruit jusqu’à minuit. Le lendemain, personne pour ouvrir la chaîne mais elle s’ouvre manuellement.

Le gardien nous a ouvert le parking qui était déjà fermé quand nous sommes arrivés. Nous avons pu y passer une nuit calme et repartir au matin. Parking plat. superbe point de vue sur la vallée et la citadelle.

Good and level parking, great view and castle. Very friendly guards, permission to spend the night and use toilets. Dogs are even permitted inside the castle, which you can enter 9:00 - 17:00 for 15 Lei/adult. Recommended!

An amazing view, nobody else parked here and the guard opened up especially. The toilets weren’t open when we went but that hardly detracted at all.

A flat cubic stone parking. We asked permission from the guard, which he gave gladly and spent the night outside the castle. There's a great view. Toilets are behind the ticket office. The tour of the citadel is worth it.

We’ve stayed a couple of hours there and we’ve also visited the fortress. We didn’t stayed overnight but I’ve discussed with the guards from the fortress and they were saying that is no problem to stay overnight in the lower parking lot. There is also access to the toilets.

Wir sind auf dem unteren von den zwei Parkplätzen gestanden. Der Blick über die Felder und natürlich die Nachts beleuchtete Burg ist sehr schön. Security war immer da, es schien auch kein Problem zu sein das wir dort standen.

Nice place to stay, we parked on the field top of the road, not in the parking area and only for 1 night. We used the toilets near the castle entrance, it is closed around 9 pm to 8am, the staff is kind. Next village - Viscri - is a must to see!

Edit from previous comment - the toilet is just outside the castle entrance gate, and there’s a water fountain and tap inside the walls by the old well.

Really great spot. First we parked on the top car park and later the guard asked us to move to the lower if we were staying for the night. The castle is lit up and lovely in the evening. Quiet, good dog walks up the track. Bins but no other services. Toilet in the castle. Recommend.

Grand parking, nous étions 5 C.CAR. Après le départ des visiteurs, les agents de sécurité mettent une chaîne à l’entrée du parking supérieur... aussi nuit tranquille.

Zona de aparcamiento de la Ciudadela de Rupea. Hay dos grandes explanadas de asfalto y niveladas. La inferior tiene WC y basura. Nosotros estuvimos solo para visitar y almorzar allí, pero nos parece un magnífico sitio para peenoctar.

Großartiger Blick, zu Fuß in die Stadt, WC vorhanden, Straße ist hörbar - nachts aber nicht störend (wir haben uns zum schlafen weiter nach hinten gestellt), super Platz

Un parking gratuit pour une halte de nuit idéal. Une vue magnifique sur le château et la vallée environnante Possibilité de visiter le château de 9h à 21h pour 10 lei par personne. Après 10h, le parking se rempli de voiture et il est préférable de partir.

Calme. même des toilettes sur le parking du haut. Et une vue superbe sur le château.

Die Wächter von der Burg sind sehr nett. Es kostet nichts.
