Residential area, but no houses overlook this spot. People consistently going off to work from 6:30 onwards, so you must be stealthy, or arrive after dark leave early.
Parking gratuit en surface de pierre. Nuit tranquille. Le parking était à moitié vide quand nous sommes arrivés le soir même si nous nous sommes réveillés entouré de véhicules, peut-être pour l'étang de pêche local.
Free stone surface car park. Quiet night sleep. Car park was half empty when we arrived in the evening although we woke up surrounded by vehicles, possibly for local fishing pond.
Freier Steinparkplatz. Ruhige Nacht . Der Parkplatz war halb leer, als wir am Abend ankamen, obwohl wir in der Nähe von Fahrzeugen aufgewacht sind, möglicherweise für den örtlichen Fischteich.

realbilliedean11/04/2023definitely not a flat surface, was like sleeping on a ship! - but quiet enough after the passing traffic had died down. and no problem with any kids throwing things but could just have been lucky

Reasonably quiet until 3am when youths began throwing snowballs at my campervan! They ran off, but came back around 15/20 minutes later and did the same again, so I decided to leave. Saddening, as I had two children in the van.

2 nights undisturbed. At least 3 level parking spots. Spoke to the volunteer ladies painting the visitors centre/cafe. Free parking.. Aircraft noise unnoticeable. No facilities. There are about 10 really nice houses within 100m & visitor centre has a flat above. Unlikely kids would now find this location ideal for meet ups. Excellent easy walks around.. Definitely stay again. Pub walk 30 mins.

I downgraded. my previous rating as I said earlier its a hangout for young people in the evening and night. I have since had a bottle and a can thrown at my camper causing 2 dents and broken glass

Its a good place but 1 drawback. it seems this is also a hang out for young people and 90% are ok. but some are not
dare2go02/09/2018Very sloping, near impossible to get level. In the evening the lot is used by Uber drivers waiting for the next call out - so constant coming and going of cars. But the worse is the airplane noise! On average one every 5 minutes, sometimes more frequently, sometimes less, almost all through the night.
