Wonderful little campsite for an overnight stay. Excellent view and it is lovely and close to the beach for walks too. Lots of uneven ground though so in peak season would recommend taking levelling ramps

Amazing views across to Lindisfarne. Very close to the back. White sands and beautiful sunsets and a night sky that’ll take you breath away. You’ll need levelling ramps for some pitches. Park where you like. Toilet disposal, water tap, no rubbish, no toilet, no shower but in my view the perfect site. Eric the farmer collects the money (cash) and is a real Northumbrian gentleman.

Checked out some of the reviews and wasn’t disappointed !!. Great views and a lovely atmosphere to enjoy a night on the North East coat. Easy access to the beach and good value at £15.00 per night.

Beautiful views!! Basic campsite but cheap and cheerful. Grey water waste & water tap. No other facilities. £15 p/n - either pay in the honesty box or Eric the owner comes round in the evening. Flat spaces fill up fast. 1hr ish walk along the coast to Bamburgh Castle with option to get a 8 min bus back (bus stop right outside campsite) X18 Bus.

Ho soggiornato qui e confermo la bellezza del posto su un terreno non proprio pianeggiante ma la vista e la tranquillità ripaga il tutto. Uno scarico acque nere , e un rubinetto x il carico dell’acqua. Costo 15 sterline o 20 euro . Proprietario gentile. Se siete da quelle parti vale la pena fermarsi per la notte.

Been staying here for quite a number of years in t**ts, c***van and now in our campervan and have always loved it, friendly owner, dog friendly. Not totally level and only really has toilet waste disposal as wouldn’t use water on site but what do you want for £15? View outweighs that. Perfect for a tip into Bamburgh as the bus stop is right outside the camp and stops right across the road again!

Très bel emplacement, nous avons payé 20€. La vue est formidable, le terrain n’est pas plat partout mais pour une nuit c’est parfait. L’accès à la mer est rapide et simple. Eau sur place, beaucoup de monde.

Für eine Nacht absolut perfekt wenn man wie wir autark stehen kann. Chemietoilette kann entsorgt werden, Frischwasser würde ich allerdings nicht auffüllen. Gastgeber sind super freundlich und bieten Barzahlung und Überweisung als Zahlungsmethode an. Ansonsten sehr ruhig und am Rande eines Naturschutzgebietes mit super schöner Aussicht. Gerne wieder.

This is a perfect camp site. To clarify the issue with the water hose and the disposal of the chem tois: there are two hoses! One nearby the disposal point and a second hose for drinkwater nearby the containers. One will find it.

This is a fabulous spot with great access to the beach to walk into Bamburgh. We stayed 2 nights last week, great value. But, be aware, the tap near the elsan disposal is NOT suitable for use as drinking water, even though several people were filling bottles here. People also use it to clean their cassettes. We couldn't access a fresh water tap on site. That's a health risk.

Ein toller Ort! Herrlicher Sonnenuntergang, Blick aufs Wasser, Schräglage!!! Frisch-Wasser und WC- Entsorgung. Sonst nichts! Ausser... mega Panorama. Ich liebe es!

Prachtig uitzicht!

Wir haben spontan einen Stellplatz gesucht und sind daher hier zufällig bei Paul und seiner Frau gelandet. Tolle Aussicht, freie Platzwahl auf der riesengroßen Wiese und alles komplett unkompliziert. Keile sind wichtig, denn stellenweise schräg. Es gibt Frischwasser und auch die Möglichkeit für Toilettenentleerung.

No trash cans. Minimal services provided - elsan and fresh water only. Amazing top view. Recommended. Walkable to the castle if you are mobile. Park as you wish, but stay 6 meters apart. Dogs on leads. Flat is possible without wedges with patience.

Deze plek heet Budle farm camping. Nu nog steeds £15.00 per nacht. Grote grasvlakte met schitterend uitzicht op inham en zee. Moeilijk om volledig recht te staan. Je kunt toiletcassette legen. Er is drinkwater. Geen afvalbak. Vlakbij Bamburgh.

Wir sind nach 7 Jahren erneut auf diesen Platz gekommenen genau so begeistert wie damals. Ein toller Platz für autarke Camper; Frischwasser und Toilettenentsorgungsmöglich sind vorhanden.

Great little park up. £15 for the night. Water, elsan point and waste water point available. Sloping field but there are some flat spots. Fantastic sunset and beautiful views. Friendly farmer will come round and collect in the evening/morning. Didn’t have to pay for my two dogs. Lovely walk to the beach and dogs are allowed. Only downside was a bit of road noise in the morning but not too bad.

Grasveld met prachtig uitzicht op de Budle Bay. Terrein niet vlak en behalve drinkwater, geen voorzieningen. Maar heerlijk rustig en een schitterend uitzicht. Wij betaalden voor camper met twee personen 20 euro.

Schöner Platz wenn man autark ist. Außer Wasser und eine tolle Aussicht gibt es nichts. Der Platzward war sehr nett. Wir hatten keine £ und durften mit € bezahlen.

Ideal stop overnight, ELSAN,grey water & fresh water only. Bonus find. Views across Budl Bay are stunning as is the Sunset. Friendly, payments collected in the evening & great walks to have. Land is sloped, those who prefer flat parking, chocks away.

Great location, stunning views, access to the beach and walks. Sloping field, fresh water and black waste. Lots of birdlife. Well worth £15. Unfortunately a lot of off lead dogs and a minority of owners not picking up after them.

Really nice park-up with great views/sunset over Budle Bay. Sloping field, so needed levelling chocks. Need to be self contained as no WC facilities, chemical waste and grey water drop, so all good. Friendly owner. £15 p/n. Would definitely come again.

another fabulous stay at this great site. Plenty of walks from the site bus service right at the front of the site. So many birds to watch doing their thing. Peaceful place to unwind

This is a great one night stay if you're equipped for off-grid. No facilities but they do have chemical waste disposal. The views and sunset are worth the £15 cash fee.

Schöner Platz. Allerdings ist es sehr sehr schwer einen halbwegs geraden Platz zu finden wenn schon mehrere Fahrzeuge dort sind. Aus Mangel an Alternativen sind wir geblieben.

A great stopover. We stayed for one night. You just park up and the gent comes to collect your £15. Explains where the chemical waste disposal/ fresh water is. No Toilets. Lovely view and walk through the nature reserve (birds) great little spot to stay.

Übernachten hat gut funktioniert. Man muss suchen für einen geraden Platz. Es war trocken und damit das Fahren kein Problem auf der Wiese. Wir haben einen Umschlag bekommen an die Scheibe zur Bezahlung, da wir nicht da waren. Die Aussicht ist toll, auch ein Sandstrand ist da. Anfang August waren viele Plätze verfügbar. Ohne Anmeldung.

Espectacular vistas de la bahía y de la Holy island. El dueño pasa a cobrar y te explica como vaciar y recargar aguas, el único problema es que no tiene para vaciar grises o nosotros así lo entendimos. En este país es complicado la descarga de grises en general…

Toller Platz, 1A Aussicht und einfach 15£ in den Briefkasten werfen. Auch ohne Versorgung ein toller Platz!

So ein mega Stellplatz. Anmeldung nicht möglich. Geld wird unkompliziert am Abend eingesammelt und wenn man nicht da ist wird das Geld einfach auf den Tisch gelegt. Hunde erlaubt. Wasser, Elsan funktionell, keine Müllentsorgung, Fußweg nach Bamburgh 40 Minuten über Strand, Dünen und Golfplatz.... so schön.

Ansicht schön, sehr viele Hunde, genau da meine Kritik an die Besitzer dieser Hunde. Manche halten es scheinbar für unnötig die Hinterlassenschaften ebend dieser wieder zu entfernen.

10-07-2025 What an amazing park up, yes it’s just a field but with amazing views and quite a few spots that are level, we were never bothered with bugs, slight onshore breeze (that was welcomed) did I mention the views? So peaceful sat for hours watching time pass by. The owner walked round and collected his £15 per night, ATM is available locally at the local Co op only a few miles away, 5 stars!

fantastic site. Great views. Yes many parts have a slope but if you've got levels no problem. Also, yes there are loads of bugs flying but the views more than make up for that. Black waste disposal on site all for £15.

Schöne Aussicht und sicherlich wunderbarer Sonnenuntergang dort, aber Unmengen an Insekten fliegen heute hier umher. Wir sind nach 30 Minuten wieder weiter gefahren, nachdem wir innerhalb kürzester Zeit dutzende dieser winzig kleinen Fransenflügler im Auto hatten. Äußerst unangenehm.

An der Einfahrt hängt ein Briefkasten (links am Zaun) für 15,-£... Wir haben wunderbar ruhig gestanden, mit einem fantastischen Sonnenuntergang. Wer autark ist, steht hier fantastisch.

Wunderschöne Aussicht mit tollem Wanderweg über den England Coast Patch nach Bamburgh (Burg und ein paar tolle Restaurants und Pubs); sehr zu empfehlen

A large sloping field with amazing views - very quiet. Friendly owner calls for money - £15.00 cash only. NB the drinking water tap is halfway doen the field on the right by the gate. Black waste at the entrance. EHU in lower field but no view there. There are no rubbish bins - ridiculous!

Stayed here early May bank holiday weekend. Offers water and waste facilities however as we attended an organised event there were also toilets and showers. The only thing wrong is that the entrance is quite uneven and the field is also quite uneven so please bear this in mind but otherwise, WOW, the views and walks are outstanding, we will be back!

A great place to stay. A few minutes walk to the beach. It's just a field but at £15 it's a great spot. Cash only. Watching the sunset and tide go out was so lovely.

Article on Teesside Live News App 20/2/2025 states owner fined for unsafe drinking water.

The owner of the site has recently been prosecuted for having a water supply not fit for human consumption . The water supply comes from a nearby spring near the beach He was instructed to install mains water but this hasn’t been done when we visited late summer . So take bottled water for drinking . Otherwise a great site - no toilets or showers muddy in wet weather

Great little site, if a little overpriced compared to similar places, but the views are fantastic, and it's worth the stay just for the walk along the beach to Bamburgh Castle! Black and grey water disposal very handy and elevates the place above other 'farm field' sites. Grass was firm enough to drive on, no mud. Two other vans there on a Thursday, no issues. Adjacent road is surprisingly busy.

Great views and fantastic sunset, but it’s an uneven field on a hillside, covered in fire scares. The water is not fit for drinking and has to be boiled. And it’s become a party site. For all night parties. Definitely expensive for what it is.

We stayed 2 nights at this beautiful location overlooking Budle Estuary. There's a tap and somewhere to empty waste. Great walks on the beach - shops in Seahouses 10 mins away

Fantastic views but no facilities (couldn’t even find a waste bin for rubbish). Can be super busy during peak times making it hard to find a good spot. On a slop so it’s likely you’ll need ramps!

Fantastic view, £15 overnight he pops round in the late afternoon early evening. There is an honesty box if you miss him. No toilet no pitch but disposal available for waste. Was like a caravan and camping show with the variety of vans. Thank you. Setting up facing the bay for stunning sunsets.

Superbe endroit. C'est très cool, On se place comme on veut face à la mer sur ce beau terrain. Pas de bitume ni caillasse. On a le nécessaire eau potable et vidange des toilettes. Franchement je recommande. Le propriétaire est hyper sympa. Si il n'est pas passé pour collecter les 15 livres soyez honnêtes.Il y a un tronc pour mettre votre argent ! C'est rare des perles du genre. Respect !

Ein super schöne Lage, direkt an der Meeresbucht. Leider Lärmverschmutzung durch die durchgehende Nutzung etlicher mobiler Generatoren. Am Abend werden viele kleine Feuer gemacht, die der guten Luft recht abträglich sind. Der Platz ist sehr hundefreundlich. Leider gibt es auf dem Platz keine Müllentsorgung, was einige Hundebesitzer dazu verleitet die Kotbeutel in der Natur zu entsorgen!

Franchement pas emballé par le côté installation : aucun équipement à part eau et vidange toilette . Personne a l accueil et personne au départ donc on a pas payé les 15 livres qui pour moi de toute façon ne sont pas justifiées . Par contre beaux paysages .

Staanplaats op het hellend grasveld. De eigenaar doet in de avond een rondje om te vragen hoeveel nachten je wil blijven en ontvangt dan het geld of je kan het in de brievenbus aan de ingang deponeren. Verder was er een waterkraan, plaats voor legen van de chemische toilet. Geen vuilnisbakken aanwezig.

Ein schöner Platz zum Übernachten, mit toller Aussicht. Man kann sich seinen Platz frei wählen. Einige Plätze sind relativ eben. Nur Frischwasser und Chemietoilettenentsorgung. Aber für 15 Pfund ist das alles vollkommen ausreichend.

Een heel mooie locatie. Je mag hier staan waar en hoe je zelf wil. Geen effen terrein. Spijtig dat er hier geen vuilzakken ter beschikking staan. Je kan hier alleen maar water nemen en wc cassette lozen. Ik had de indruk dat ik op een camping stond, maar dan zonder de faciliteiten ervan.

Erg modderig. Geen faciliteiten. Zijn uiteindelijk doorgereden naar het strand waar je gratis kan staan aan zee.

Tolle Aussicht. Man sollte definitiv Keile dabei haben. Wir hatten keine und haben mit Mühe und Not einen geraden Platz gefunden. Zu späterer Stunde wird es voller. Die Straße ist direkt nebenan und relativ laut. Eine Toilette wäre schön. Das Geld wird abends eingesammelt. Wir waren nicht da und haben einen Umschlag bekommen, diesen kann man am Eingang dann einwerfen. 15 Pfund für eine Nacht.

Ended up here for 2 nights instead of 1 as the view and access to the bay was so good. The flat spots are at the back so it you want an undisturbed view you’re on quite a slope. We had ramps & were still on an angle. The view is amazing, faces the sunset on the bay. We went for a dip all 3 days and paddleboarding for 2. The bay is best first thing in the morning or early afternoon when it’s deeper

fab little stopover, great views, owners on site come round and take payment after you've settled in. walk down to coastal beach. plenty of room will need levellers and a bit sloppy. some campers were having firepits so seems this is allowed. no toilet but was grey tanks. take rubbish with you. £15 for the night but looks liked there were a few that stayed for longer. need more places like this

15£/Nacht, Wasser und Entsorgen. Der Platz ist malerisch gelegen, Keile sind zum nivellieren absolut notwendig! Strom nicht vorhanden. Der Mitarbeiter ist sehr freundlich und extrem hilfsbereit. Bezahlt wird Abends entweder direkt oder mit der Vertrauensbox. Autos von der Straße waren fast nicht zu hören. Keine Probleme. Wir hatten einen traumhaften Stellplatz mit der freien Sicht aufs Meer.

Very nice view to the ocean and holy island. The place has good vibes. Haven't stayed there though, only emptied the toilet, waste water tank and filled drinking water for 5£. The owner is a really nice lad. When he saw my kids, he donated those 5£ for their ice cream.

Deze plek staat in de top 10 van de mooiste plekken waar we hebben gestaan! Fantastisch uitzicht met een adembenemend landschap en zonsondergang. Het zelf meenemen van afval en geen sanitair nemen we hiervoor voor lief.

Wir sind 2 Nächte hier. Mit unserem Fahrzeug (7.39 Meter) waren wir um unsere Hubstützen froh, da ein Ausnivelieren mit Keilen nicht überall funktioniert. Entsorgung für WC vorhanden. Straße hörte man, störte uns aber nicht. Tolle Aussicht Richtung Holy Island. 15 £ sind sicherlich an der oberen Grenze, wurden bei uns im Laufe des Tages eingesammelt

Large field with a range of semi-permanent caravans and plenty of space for many campers. Not many areas are flat so ramps would be useful. £15 price tag a little high for the minimal facilities, but a very quiet and scenic setting and owner very relaxed. Honesty box on the gate allows easy come and going at all hours.

Wow. What a view. Stayed here because I was gonna park at Wyndings. It's rammed with vans. I just needed a cheap overnight stop. For £15 cash I have a view, toilet emptying facilities and access to water. The farmer is lovely.

Richtig toller Stellplatz mit wunderschöner Aussicht und gut zum spazieren gehen wenn man einen Hund dabei hat. Zum richtig toben gibt es den Berg herunter eine Tobewiese die abgezäunt ist. Von dort aus geht es durch ein zweites Tor an den Strand. Nette Betreiber und wir fanden die 15 £ angemessen . Die Straße, die man hört hat uns nicht weiter gestört.

Epic views and easy access to a beutiful beach! it is sloping bit didn't bother us, being able to have a barbeque and fire more than made up for it! Will stay again if in the area

Het uitzicht is mooi. Het terrein is rommelig, hobbelig en op stukken erg steil. Je staat op gras. Dus als het heeft geregend zou ik er goed overna denken om hier te staan. Het was erg luidruchtig op de plek. Veel herrie van de weg. En tot middernacht geluidsoverlast van diverse personen op de kampeerplaats zelf. Als het niet noodzakelijk is om te stoppen, zou ik deze plaats overslaan.

Une vue extraordinaire. Terrain un peu en pente, mais tellement beau. Pas de service. Accès plage immédiat et château de Bamburgh à portée de chaussure par le sentier côtier.

What a find! We just stayed for one night and it was not enough! Fantastic views, allowed open fires which was quite unusual! And unbelievably cheap at £15. Didn't want to leave!!

Amazing View of the Bay! it's only sloped in places. Friday night was quiet, Saturday night was Rammed. Only down side for me was lots of off lead dogs, not the camps fault at all though. Well worth £15 for the view.

Breathtaking views across Budle bay and Holy Island. £15 up from £10 in 2021. No facilities other than water tap and chemical waste. Can get a bit rowdy with groups and it's not flat but half the price of Budle Bay site down the road where there's no view at all!

Excellent view over the bay. Basic facilities, no toilet. Visited in April 2022 and price is now £15.

great views of a huge tidal bay but as others have said, the ground can be soft after rainfall. the site owner will happily come over in his wee suzuki and give you a tow if you get stuck. the site is on a hill si just park up so that you are facing downhill and you should be fine. 5 min walk down to the beach, good for kite and paddle boarding or kayaking.

I can imagine this spot is gorgeous in summer/better weather, but beware - don’t try and brave it in winter or after rainfall! The field may be on a hill but it is NOT well-drained. We were stuck in the mud on arrival and had to whip out the tracks to get out after multiple failed attempts; thankfully we managed to escape eventually. It seems lovely and would like to return in better conditions!

Really welcoming place with great access to the beach for paddleboarding and water sports. Quite busy when we visited on a Thursday evening during summer. No facilities but toilets around a mile back towards Banburgh castle. Great for cycling too!

We stayed a night here. Budle Bay is absolutely stunning and you are steps away. The campsite is just a field with a tap and a waste disposal point. No bins and no grey water point. It seems to have private rallies over bank holidays. Text the owner to check availability.

What a gem of a place. incredible view, wonderful beach, lovely welcoming site manager. waste disposal and water. we were going to stop over 1 night but ended up staying for 2 and will definitely be coming back.

Looks great, but we where turned away because it was rammed full, don’t assume you can just turn up and stop, we’d traveled hours to here only to be disappointed. Maybe next time .

Absolutely brilliant. £10 pn when everyone else in the area is £20 and no need to book because it's a large field. Fabulous views, easy access to water and lovely walking to Bamburgh. Bus stop at entrance to the whole coast. I wish more people would follow these guys example and provide this kind of wild camp experience.

Here now, 23/06/21, love it, very relaxed, park where you like, no set pitches. Would recommend to those looking to relax, enjoy fabulous views and take a walk on the beach.

Agree pretty much with all the positive reviews. Only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because it was very full (maybe 30-40 vans/caravans) but that was the weekend with fantastic weather. Was quieter on the Monday.

Cant complain, £10 for a peaceful night sleep - water and toilet empty - pretty views and one of the few places you can stop overnight in northumberland

Great stop. We stayed two nights on a very relaxed pitch just pull up and the land owner will come around in the morning to collect money. Great if you just need to empty toilet and fill with water.

Amazing view and brilliant access to really quiet beaches. Basic but fresh water access. Slightly tricky to find a level pitch so do bring levelling blocks etc.

Lovely area to park, not all flat but I’m sure you will find a spot and it’s only £10 a night, there is a guy that comes around and collects it. Can get rid of waste and water and fresh water available

Great spot with a beautiful sea view, the man came to my van to collect £10 for the night - there’s fresh water supplies and chemical waste emptying. As a solo female I felt extremely safe and comfortable here ☺️

Arrived about 7:30pm. Picked a spot and parked up for £10. Guy comes to collect the cash. Fabulous view of Budle Bay. Would defo stay here again.

Beautiful site with fresh water and toilet disposal, very friendly man on the gate and only £10 - and the views are worth that alone. The views of the bay are absolutely stunning but bear in mind it's a hilly site with bumpy grass pitches so you'll need levelling blocks. A total gem.

Brilliant off-road park for the night with amazing views! More than 50 motorhomes tonight and a couple of tents! Very uneven surface with general grassy slope, quite steep in places. Most units using ramps to level. Larger units might need to consider how to get out if it rains. Water and waste a big bonus.

Ideal spot, arrived at 7pm when other places full. Fab views, friendly staff. Park up where you want, waste disposal and pay £10 on way out.

Very good site, simple with nice views. Arrived 8:30pm no problems. Would love to come back with sunnier weather. Rained heavily when we visited so was worried about when we where leaving due to the hill towards the exit. Thankfully after some careful management of acceleration and running tracks we got out. Paid for our stay on the way out.

Stayed for one night , every where else was full , found a spot here no problem then walked 10 minutes directly up the hill and used other campsites pub restaurant and toilets , fantastic views great for the dogs too

Simple three level field with an absolutely stunning outlook. You can swim, kayak, cycle and run from here. 3 miles from the famous Banburgh Castle. £10 just water and waste disposal. Good Covid distancing. Cheap as chips...

Great little site as long as you are self contained! No showers or toilets but who can complain for £10 . Put money in the box on the way in . Amazing views and Very little light pollution. Can’t go wrong here for a couple of nights away

Wonderful spot with amazing views over towards Holy Island across Budle Bay. Lovely field with water and chemical waste and a nice chap pops round to collect £10 per night of you drop it in the box at the gate. Pitches low down very near the beach. Brilliant beach walk to Bamburgh, about 2 miles.

Budle Farm camping. Exceptional views from a farm field, wonderful if you like the freedom. Walk onto huge sandy beach in low tide. 2.5 mile walk through the golf course to Bamburgh. Views to Lindesfarne castle on Holy island. You can cross a causeway to the island ONLY at low tide.

Basic but cheap site. no toilets or showers not even a bin. But there's amazing views easy access to the beach. fresh water, grey and black waste disposal so if your self contained and want a step up from wild camping, this is for you.

Schön gelegene Wiese (einfach Kreuz und quer parken), von der aus man gut Ebbe und Flut in der nahe gelegenen Bucht beobachten kann. Schwarzwasser kann man entleeren, ansonsten recht spartanisch. Wir waren eine Nacht nach einem Besuch von Alnwick Castle hier.

Camping sans sanitaires, très rustique, juste un tuyau d'eau et une évacuation pour les toilettes. Les eaux usées se jettent dans l'herbe. Nous sommes venus juste pour les services. Au début, personne n'est venu. Nous avons vu une boîte aux lettres avec 10 livres marqués dessus. Nous avons supposé que nous pouvions utiliser les services et laisser l'argent dans la boîte aux lettres. Attention ! Ne pas rentrer dans l'enclos où il y a la boîte aux lettres. Ce n'est pas ici qu'on peut vider. Nous nous sommes faits incendier par le propriétaire. Il nous a finalement montré où vider. Il s'est montré plus aimable et ne nous a pas fait payer pour les services. Ce qu'il souhaite, c'est qu'on y passe la nuit.

Effectivement c'est emplacement mérite de s'y arrêter rien que pour sa vue magnifique sur la mer. Toujours 10£ que le propriétaire nous encaisse en arrivant. Pour les services, il y a de l'eau et la possibilité de vider les toilettes chimiques. Très herbeux et pas très plat et en cas de pluie ça peut devenir glissant pour sortir

I give this site 5 stars because even though it is very basic with no power hook ups and no toilets really, the view is stunning and friendly owner looked after us well. Well worth a night there with Lindisfarne castle view.

Es ist eine Wiese mit ausreichenden Stellplätzen. Ein Trinkwasseranschluss wurde am Rande der Einfahrt verlegt. Die Stellplätze sind nicht sehr eben, Keile sind nötig. Einfach einen Platz auswählen, der Besitzer kommt zum Kassieren mit dem Auto vorbei. Tolle Aussicht über die Bucht. Gut für eine Nacht, da hier auf vielen Plätzen das Übernachten verboten ist.
