After 28 days of travelling around Spain we found our top favourite place, absolutely beautiful, the walks, the cafes, the silence, the views, the huge space we had, the stars even the cats playing under our van. We used the toilets when the caves were open rather than go into town.
Schön geschützter Spot in der Nähe der Höhle. Leider haben die ansässigen Katzen ihn zu ihrem favorisierten Katzenklo erkoren. Die Wanderung zum Cabeço d‘Or ist sehr zu empfehlen.
Free parking in a bend, we didn't stay at night but we think it is possible. Nearby there are some hikes and Canelombres cave; the higher cave in Spain.

Estuvimos muy bien una noche antes de visitar las cuevas, fuimos andando durante 10 minutos hasta las cuevas. No hay mosquitos pero hay gatos y alguna zorra, para nada violentos, solo quieren comida, por eso se acercan mucho, pero obviamente no hacen nada :)
A real find - there’s a little flat, rocky area just past the map signpost that’s perfect for campers and motorhomes, and a little further away from the road. Room for two. Beautiful hiking, very peaceful, and caves to visit a little further up the road. We stayed for two nights with no problems at all. One of our favourite spots so far! We stayed in January.
Beautiful views of mountains and landscape- no facilities-start of hiking trail around the mountain. Slept peacefully. Nice spot!
