great stop over and very friendly Great food it's a shame you still have to pay 10 pounds to park overnight. a lot of places let you stop free if you eat in the place
Parking gratuit en bordure de route juste à l'extérieur de la célèbre auberge de la Jamaïque. De plus, vous pouvez passer la nuit dans le parking du pub mais c'est par accord et moyennant un supplément. accès facile juste à côté de l'A30 dans les deux sens, utilisez les panneaux pour l'auberge jamaïque. theres également laybys sur cette route pour une nuit facile aussi. fortement suggérer d'essayer l'auberge, c'est une auberge pittoresque avec beaucoup d'histoire, et hanté aparently!
Free roadside parking just outside the famous Jamaica Inn. Also, you can stay overnight in the pub car park but this is by agreement and at an additional cost. Easy access just off the A30 in both directions, use the signs for the Jamaica Inn. There's also laybys on this road for an easy overnight stay too. Highly suggest trying the Inn, it's a quaint inn with lots of history, and apparently haunted!
Kostenlose Parkplätze am Straßenrand direkt vor dem berühmten Jamaica Inn. Sie können auch auf dem Parkplatz des Pubs übernachten, aber das ist nach Vereinbarung und gegen Aufpreis möglich. Einfacher Zugang direkt an der A30 in beide Richtungen, verwenden Sie die Schilder zum Jamaika-Hostel. Auf dieser Route gibt es auch Rastplätze für eine einfache Nacht. Ich empfehle dringend, das Hostel auszuprobieren, es ist ein malerisches Hostel mit viel Geschichte und anscheinend heimgesucht!

Wij hebben op de carpark van de Jamaica Inn gestaan voor 10 pond en vonden dit het geld niet waard. Geluid van de snelweg. De pub was niet echt gezellig. Koud, rommelig met veel troep op tafels. Lang in de rij staan om eten of drinken te bestellen. Een glas wijn met een glas bier was 18 pond. Het eten was wel prima. Het personeel was zeer aardig. M.i veel te commercieel.
MKIEFT12/04/2025Overnighted for £10 (pay at the hotel reception) and got well fed and watered in the pub. We were told to park in the coach slots in the carpark, but some campervans were in the grass overflow carpark. Visited the interesting museum, as it is free for paying guests. Bit of road noise from the A30 dual carriageway, but slept well. No facilities, except the toilets during opening hours.

The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is great! it's a very small price to to pay to have the privilege of staying somewhere with so much history and mystery! Will definitely be staying again on my travels between Devon and Cornwall!

Parked in layby just down the road from the hotel to save the £10 charge parking at hotel. only 5 min walk to hotel. Bit of a slope but manageable. The hotel bar is excellent though and worth a drink there.

Stopped for 1 night, advised could park in coach bay as wasn't expecting any in so did not use overflow field. There were 5 other campers stopping also. The food was amazing, and we brought local sausages from the farm shop for breakfast which were yummy. Will be back here again very soon

We parked in the Jamaica Inn car park fpr the day and followed a 3 hour hike around Brown Willy Tor, then went into the Pub and museum etc. It's £10 to stay the night in the car park - no facilities other than bins. We spent £40-50 in the pub but they still asked for the £10 to park, so we moved on.

Parked in Jamaica Inn just go to reception to pay £10 for the night and give you a ticket to display in window food and staff fantastic was told to park in coach bay a little bit of road noise can be heard but did not disturb sleeping also have dog walking area

Jamaica Inn Pub lovely for food and drink. Staff great and very welcoming to overnight stay in car park for £10. Well worth the stopover. About to visit gift shop and museum. Thoroughly recommend it.

Lovely cosy pub full of character. Lovely accommodating staff. Stayed in the camper in the car park for 10 pounds and was treated like a resident. At the time of staying the Restaurant was closed to public due to covid but we were able to eat and drink in the restaurant. Would recommend you stop here.

We stayed in The Jamaica Inn Carpark for £10, nice and cosy. Toilet facilities until they close, 4g good and food was top notch from the pub. Would stay here again

Stayed in the layby just before you arrive to Jamaica Inn. far enough away from the road for a peaceful sleep. 4g signal good and then great access back onto the a 30.
