Das Hotel liegt am Stadtrand von Port Ellen, in der Nähe des Co-op-Supermarkts und zu Fuß entlang der Küste nach Osten zu 3 Destillerien.

Still not reopened. Currently working on services building. So parked van in the small flat car park opposite (next to toilets) no fee no signs with beech view and easy access to early morning ferry. A couple of cars lurking for short periods overnight so when it opens, the garage park up would be better
Der Parkplatz hinter der Filling Station ist derzeit eine Baustelle und geschlossen. Entsorgung von Grau- und Schwarzwasser und Versorgung mit Frischwasser ist zu den Öffnungszeiten (8-17:30 Uhr) weiterhin gegen ein kleines Trinkgeld möglich.
27th May and still closed. It looks a long way off being finished yet! Sign says £5 to use motorhome service point when open.
Arrived 14 May. This is still closed. Works going on,from the look of it, it will be some time before completed. Ignore end of April date in description above. did manage to get a spot over the road, by the public toilets, parking only. No facilities. But don't stay here. Constant stream of boys in cars, engines running, passing 'stuff' to each other. It's 10.55 and don't know when it will stop!

Paid £20 but didn’t get the code for the shed for services to be sure to ask for it. A bit noisy over the weekend but central.
Good facility, very helpful and welcoming to find this here. £5 to empty black and grey and fill with fresh. Chap in the filling station stated hours as: 8- 5:30 closed sundays Sometimes closed around 12 for 1hr due to staff lunch break.

July. £5 to empty loo & fill up with water. We did not stay. It's not a pretty place at all but convenient IF you want to stay in town and of course this is one of only 2 campsites on Islay. Garage staff (we met Alan) were friendly and helpful. Garage open 9am to 5pm. Closed Sundays.
15£ for 1 night with power, water and grey water disposal. Booked a campervan site online. Electricity and water for up to 4 motorhomes. Beautiful views to wake up to. The filling station is closed on Sundays.
We paid £5 to empty our waste and fill up with clean water. More places should offer this kind of service as it really made us feel welcome in the Campervan. You can stay here, or charge camper by the hour when off exploring.
Fuel station closed on Sundays. Otherwise an excellent initiative. Notice in public toilets banning the emptying of chemical toilets, directing you to this facility. Lovely new cycle path to distilleries.
Car park adjacent toilet, not 24/7, a little noisy on a weekend night. but perfectly decent for a stop over.
Optimal um auf der Insel Service vorzunehmen. Zum Übernachten eher nicht so einladend. Abwasser, Frischwasser und Chemie-Toilette leeren für 5£, dies aber nur während der Öffnungszeiten der Tankstelle an der man auch bezahlen muss. Bei uns hat die Tankstelle um 18Uhr geschlossen.
Très calme même si ce n'est pas vraiment glamour (entre une station service et en bord de route). l'électricité fonctionne très bien, eau sur l'emplacement et toilettes publiques à 30 mètres. 15 pounds la nuit. Une supérette coop à 5 mns à pied et à 2,4 et 6kms de Laphroig, Lagavulin et Ardberg accessibles à pied par un chemin très joli qui longe la mer.
