Lovely view of the sea, IoW and the needles. Nice staff at the pub (had a drink and used the loo). Two other vans - max space says 4, but I reckon at least six could stay. Not bothered at all by the locals - all in all a lovely stop. Could do with a loo :)

  • 5/5

Free from restrictions at 7pm. Bit tight to turn are around the end but possible. The carpark on the sea front is not motorhome/camper friendly even during the day.

  • 4/5

fantastic night stop listening to the waves rumbling in the background, The Lighthouse Restaurant is to be recommended, good simple food at reasonable prices. looking forward to the view in the morning when we should be able to see the Isle of White Needles.

  • 4/5

Amazing view, public toilets 5min walk away 24/7 open. Was very windy though, quite a busy street with people/cars leaving the bar until 22h, and hikers from morning on. Didn’t get disturbed tho.

  • 5/5

Great place for the night. Three other vans up the road. No problems apart from high winds.

  • 5/5

Peaceful spot out of season- all we could hear was the sound of the waves… this road doesn’t flood at high tide

  • 5/5

Nice spot. No overnight restrictions, no other vehicles when I was here. As others have said, bit of road noise to and from the restaurant but I had to move to the village car park during the night as the wind got up and was rocking us all other the place so check the forecast as it’s an exposed spot.

Arrived just after 7pm on a Sunday. Both parking bays we're all clear and had ease of access. Went to The Lighthouse for dinner which is only 50 metres away - very accomodating and dog friendly. Public toilets are available a minute or two walk away which are also open 24 hours. Peaceful evening sleep with little disturbances from cars going past.

Check the tides- Road flooded due to high tide so if you are not keen on driving your vehicle through salt water it is a long reverse down a narrow lane until you can turn around. Single lane parking with bumper to bumper vans on weekends so not a tranquil spot if you are not wanting to feel like you are in a parking spot! Amazing views though

Very good spot. Free parking after 6pm until 9am. There are 2 sets of parking bays each able to accommodate 4/5 vehicles. Some traffic when the pub closes at the end of the road but very quiet. Beachgoers turn up at 7.30-8am so you'll get a good night's rest. Spectacular views

  • 5/5

Nice spot got there for 630 walked into town for a beer and fish and chips. Nice and quiet in the evening to sleep. Hardly any traffic as the restaurant behind us shuts at 1700. Sun-Wed cracking sunrise :-)

  • 5/5

Great view, quiet overnight free parking.

  • 4/5

Stayed here for one night en route to Portland (following the coastal route). Quiet once the pub had shut, not too noisy when it was open apart from the customers leaving in their cars. Nice walk by the sea before turning in and then into Milford in the morning for breakfast.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot by the sea. Felt safe with a couple of other motorhomes nearby. No bother at all. No overnight facilities, but nearby carpark toilets open at 8am.

  • 4/5

Good spot, quiet at night, toilets 5 mins away, not sure what time they open

  • 5/5

An excellent spot, really peaceful nights sleep, so quiet with pleasant views of the needles and The Isle of White.

  • 5/5

Nice place too stay, nice walks plenty of outdoor activities

  • 4/5

Parking is on the road just a little further down from the paid carpark. there is very little turning at the end of the road. there is enough room for about 4 campers to park up. views of the Isle of Wight are amazing.

  • 5/5

This is for the parking bays not the main car park, lovely spot and walk to Hurst Castle
