Stopped last night, well off the A59 but still a bit off road noise. The spot I found was nice and level, and reasonably quiet. Snack van from about 07.30 during the week. Because of the proximity to an RAF station, a few Police patrols came by, but no hassle. Would use it again
Stayed overnight, no issues. expected road noise wasn't woken by any. Lambs busy running around in the field opposite.
Stopped overnight last night, some roadnoise heard but had a good night's sleep. Felt safe and secure. No facilities other than a litter bin. Plenty of room and pretty much flat throughout the length of the layby.
So far so good very deserted as off of main road, wide parking areas, can hear the road but nothing that overbearing, popped up the roof and off to sleep.
As already mentioned, quite a lot of traffic noise, but fine with earplugs. Room for several vans. No problems overnight. Edit: A police van came through at around 8:30am, but didn't stop.

Parking assez calme . Il y avait 3 camions qui sont restés toute la nuit . Le léger bruit des voitures sur la route ne nous a pas dérangé. Endroit idéal pour y passer une nuit .
Ok place to overnight, June 2019. A few tricks and noise from the road traffic. Arrived at 9.30pm and left early next morning.
Parcheggio lungo la strada riparato dagli alberi, abbastanza ampio, non disturbato dalle auto in transito. Consigliabile per una notte.
Great last minute stop over layby ,plenty of room and hidden away by trees,only downside is noise from main road traffic and a few HGV's at 5am stopping for 15 mins rest.
