Spot très pratique dans le coin et qui a sauvé notre nuit! impeccable poour notre camping car de 7m, services pas très chers (10€). parking sans charme mais juste à l entrée de Bantry

Nous avons utilisé uniquement les services : vidange eaux grises et noires et remplissage eau potable (peu de pression : commencez par le remplissage!). Nous avons payé 10€ pour ces services (à l’accueil de l’hôtel).

Paid 15Euro, and would happily go back. The parking is set amongst the well kept gardens of the hotel. Grey water and black water disposal + water fill up.

What a great spot! I stayed just one night but loved it. I’m fully self-contained, so only needed black water disposal and fresh water — both available. The park goes all the way to the sea with amazing views and even a lovely waterfall. Town is just a 15-minute walk. Didn’t use hotel facilities, but we’re already planning to return soon!

Grand parking plat à côté de l'hôtel. Accueil agréable à la réception de l'hôtel. 15€ pour la nuit. Services de ravitaillement en eau et rejet d'eau grise. Pas d'électricité ni toilettes. Il est possible d'accéder aux douche et toilettes du Leisure center de l'hôtel pour 5€ (une seule fois) ou de profiter de la piscine, sauna, toilettes et douche pour 10,5€.

Très calme, hôtel à côté lieu de paiement avant installation. Dommage qu il n y ait pas d électricité même en payant un peu plus ça serait super. 15€ eau grise noire et eau potable. Prévoir son propre tuyau pour l eau.

Quiet and plenty of space, level ground. Grey, black and fresh water provision. Hotel is a short walk away for bar, wc and can use shower at €5 or days gym membership at €10.50. Bantry 20mins walk, partly through hotel grounds.

Good spot, very quiet. Could do with bins. Handy to use the swimming pool facilities.

Certainement plus calme que le long de la route à l’aire de camping car municipale. La ville est à 20 mns de marche avec de très nombreux commerces.

Quieter than the Council park nearer town. Easy to check in and you can walk through the grounds to get into Bantry. Takes about 20 minutes.

Now €15 per night (24hrs). Don’t feel it is particularly good value for money but there are not many options in this area.

As of 1st October 2024, the price is now €15 per night (24hrs). No additional services apart from water waste disposal and drinking water (that didn’t taste so good btw). We had to stay here to shelter from Storm Ashley, and can confirm that it is in a protected position behind a wall from winds. I just think €15 a night is a bit much for a car park personally.

Parkplatz hinterm Hotel für 10,00 Euro pro Nacht. Bezahlung an der Rezeption im Hotel. 20min Laufweg bis in die Stadt/ Restaurants. Chemie-WC, Grau- und Frischwasser ist direkt auf dem Platz vorhanden. Für 21,00 Euro (2 Personen) konnten wir das direkt am Hotel angrenzende kleine Schwimmbad mit Sauna, Dampfsauna, kleines Schwimmbecken nutzen. Wir können den Stellplatz empfehlen.

une superbe découverte ! nous avions besoin de faire une halte pour vider les eaux usées et nous avons profité de la piscine, sauna et hammam. le personnel était super sympathique! nous avons aussi mangé un petit quelque chose sur place avant de repartir !

Excellent stay yesterday. No issues at all with the parking area, nice and flat, grey/black waste and fresh water easily accessible. 20m walk to a lovely town. Leisure complex was a real treat €10.50 each for a lovely swim, sauna, steam, jacuzzi and shower. Great way to spend 2 hours on a wet day. Finished off this morning by another treat, €15 for the buffet breakfast in the hotel, very tasty!

Fermeture à 21h. Le caravane park est lui un parking assez simple.

Der Platz ist OK und ausreichend toll. Das Hotel Personal freundlich und der Weg in die Stadt toll (Feenweg) wir wurden auch gleich gefragt ob wir die Enten füttern wollen. Das Schwimmbad hat uns weniger gefallen. Bademützen sind Pflicht( kann man für 2,50 Eur p/P erwerben - Personal zieht keine auf) Nur zwei Sessel zum hinsetzen, was bei uns mit Baby blöd war. Der Platz aber zu empfehlen!

Nice quiet place in the grounds of the hotel. Water facilities. Toilet in hotel. Had a great bike ride around Sheep's Head peninsular.

Hem passat una nit 10 €, el lloc no té cap encant a la nit va ploure i va quedar tot embassat. Els 5 € per la piscina coberta i la dutxa valen la pena tot i que està una mica lluny del pàrquing.

Ottimo, per 10€ sosta notturna,carico e scarico acque grigie e nere. tranquillo e riparato a 10 Min. a piedi, attraversando il parco, dal centro della cittadina. Chi vuole può approfittare anche della piscina e del fitness.

Large flat gravel car park, private in grounds of Westlodge Hotel. Park / gardens for walks and about 15 minute pleasant walk downhill to Bantry. Has grey & black water disposal, separate drinking water tap (though flow fluctuated). No bin at all, other than back up hill at back of hotel. Access via Hotel car park, drive around to back and down a small hill. Pay Reception £10/night.

€5 for use of the grey and black waste emptying and to fill water tank. €10 to stay overnight and whilst big and flat it isn’t a particularly pleasant spot!

brilliant wee spot just outside the hustle and bustle of main street and the pier in bantry. Nice and quiet, lovely places for a walk too for us and the dog. We were able to empty out our grey and black water and fill up with fresh water aswell. We were well catered to at breakfast also with one of us being plant based and gluten free options are also offered. We would definitely stay here again.

Très calme, très propre. 10 euros, c'est vraiment un bon prix. Possibilité d'accéder à la piscine de l'hôtel (et donc aux douches) pour 5 euros par personne. Une vraie bonne nuit, merci à l'hôtel pour cette prestation. Pour info, il faut quitter les lieux pour 10h (10AM).

Large flat gravel parking area with plenty of space in the grounds of the Westlodge Hotel. Well signposted off the N71, then drive through the main car park to the rear. €10 per night, fresh water, grey and black waste. 15 walk into Bantry.

Great stopover and good initiative by the hotel to make use of this area to give camparvans a place to stay. 10 Euros for the night and 5 Euros to use the shower facilities. It's also worth noting the food in the hotel bar is pretty good and worth your money while you have a few beers.

This is a great stopover and I wish more big hotels would diversify like this. Huge parking area for at least 20 camper. Super level with water and grey water emptying. 5 euros to use the showers in the spa leisure centre. 10.50 euros to use the pool and whole facilities and extremely welcoming. Beautiful grounds and quiet. Fab thank you.

Useful and inexpensive stop in what looks like an old quarry adjacent to the hotel. Grounds are lovely and there is easy access to the coast and the walkway into Bantry. Hotel facilities available to campers- showers 5 euros and 10% off pool entrance

Rodeados de gran parque, sendero de hadas, cementerio al otro lado de la carretera… mucha tranquilidad. Por 10€ (y 10€ más si quieres ducharte en el gimnasio y uso del spa) posibilidad de vaciar negras/grises y llenado. El servicio está en el hotel.

10 points to this lovely hotel for providing this facility for €10. Stayed one quiet peaceful night, emptied waste etc. Had breakfast in the hotel and a good shower & hot hair drier in their Liesure facilities. I wish more hotels would do this.

Great little park! Able to use showers in fitness center in between kids swimming lessons. Breakfast in hotel restaurant. We walked to town about 2km for a great dinner at Oconnells! Fabulous soup and fish n chips - regular and gluten free! Took a walk along the fairy trail.

Perfect safe place to shelter from Storm Agnes and all the facilities at the hotel available. This is like a large carpark with water available on site - everything else at hotel. 5 mins walk. Lovely walks in the grounds and down to Bantry Bay and along into town if the weather allows. It’s probably a 30 mins walk into town

De la place, bien situé pas loin de Bantry par un chemin, site agréable et calme. 10 euros avec les services sans électricité . WC à l'hôtel, bon accueil . Douche pour 6€ à la piscine. Nous recommandons cette aire pour une ou plusieurs nuits, seuls points à peut-être ameliorer : douche à 3€ serait raisonnable, bétonner le pourtour de la borne de service car un peu boueux, rajouter une poubelle.

Entsorgungsmöglichkeit vorhanden. Platz wirklich groß. Aber so richtig wohl gefühlt haben wir uns nicht. Ich glaube wir nehmen das nächste Mal den Stellplatz im Ort.

Don't understand why this place doesn't get 5 * from everyone. Great flat gravel parking only 10 minutes to town. Water, grey and black disposal very quiet at night, doesn't say free showers! All for €10 wouldnt be worth thir while for anything less. We cycled to the lighthouse (about 80km round trip) which was an enjoyable ride then had a sauna and steam to ease the aches. Gets 5 of my stars!

Mooi beschut terrein. Klei ondergrond dus als het nat wordt (loosplaats) dan wordt het een vieze boel. Toilet in het hotel. Douche (dus zwembad nemen, dan kan je douchen) kost wel € 10, 50 pp. Een beetje schofterig prijs. Enkel maar douchen kan niet. Nee, echt een ballentent.

Whilst we felt it was a good idea for the Westlodge to offer this service, when we pulled in we didn't feel there was any atmosphere to the site, just a large gravel square. No EHU but water supply and waste disposal available so €10 not expensive for a safe overnight. No bins, and a bit too far out of town on a wet day, we moved to the marina instead.

Very quiet stay. Good grey water and fresh water facilities. You can avoid the hill to have a few pints down in town by walking by the sailing club. very good breakfast at the hotel.

Good site and sheltered if the weather is bad. We’d use it again.

Het us zoals hier vaker geschreven, een heel fijne camperplaats. Ruimte voor meerdere campers op een vlakke parkeerplaats in een prachtige omgeving. Wij bleven hier 3 nachten voor € 10,- per nacht. Drinkwater, grijs en zwart water kun je hier prima verzorgen, een vuilnisbak heb ik niet gevonden. Toilet van het hotel mag gebruikt worden. Aardige receptiemedewerkers.

Staying here for 2 days slight mechanical issue to deal with. Hotel reception very welcoming with all information given for €10 euros all waste and fresh water facilities, no EHU. Clean, flat ground and CCTV as you drive in on site. You can also use the Hotel toilets, Spa, bar, breakfast every morning too.

belle idée de cet hôtel de mettre en grand terrain a disposition des Cc avec eaux et évacuation eaux grises et noires pour 10 euros c est très intéressant et très calme possibilité de se restaurer a l hôtel. 1,5 km du centre ville l aire signalée au centre est dotée d une barrière de hauteur donc pas intéressante pour les Cc .

This campsite could be a gem of the west coast of Ireland. Unfortunately, there is no security gate or cctv. Hence, some strange characters entering the campsite cause trouble and our kids feeling unsecured.

Aire plate dans le parc d'un hôtel 4*. Tous les services disponibles sauf électricité, nous avons payé 10€ pour 24h. il y a un sentier à l'intérieur du parc qui conduit à la ville. le site est calme la nuit. j'ai mis 4* car l'emplacement des services est très boueux un petit aménagement pour assainir cela serait bien venu.

Très pratique, eau potable et non potable sur le parking. Suivre "motorhome parking". Possibilité de vider les eaux grises au même endroit. Nous ne sommes restés que pour ce service.

Cheap with use of facilities. Close to town and the lovely bay. Walks on site, pitch and putt and great desserts. Definitely recommend

Zufahrt über den Hotelparkplatz. Die Schotterfläche ist groß und eben, aber leider gar nicht bepflanzt oder dekoriert. Starker optischer Kontrast zum angrenzenden schönen Hotelpark.

Nous venons de passer la nuit sur ce parking derrière l’hôtel, super formule. 10€ la nuit avec tous les services. Nous sommes restés trop peu de temps pour essuyer la piscine/salle de sport (9,5€ l’accès). (les douches sont à 5€, trop chères…). Il y a des resto-bar et un joli jardin. Les enfants ont adoré. Lieu calme d’habitude, mais un peu bruyant car mariage… On recommande quand même !

The Westlodge motorhome parking is the stop you need after a hard days adventuring. Plenty of room, fresh water, grey & black water services, before winding down in one of the hotel’s 3 eateries; restaurant, bar or Hannies, the food is second to none & the motorhome park is quiet, safe & @ €10 for 24hrs & discounted access to leisure facilities, pool, gym, sauna & shower, fully recommend. 5/5

Better choice than official aire in bantry-close to noisy road.5 cars parked in camper area last night . Friday night quiet, but sat night a group of motorhomes arrived and took over an area, loud shouting drunk 2 am.avoid summer bank hol.

Großer Platz mit frisch Wasser, Grauwasser und Toilettenentsorgung. Kein Strom. Rechts neben dem Haupteingang vom Hotel ist ein schönes Schwimmbad, mit Sauna, Dampfbad, Duschen, Toiletten und Föhn. Zum Restaurant kann man auch gehen. Wir waren nicht übernacht dort, sondern für ca. 3 Stunden und hatten keine Parkgebühren.

Super endroit bien que pas d herbe. Ne pas tenir compte du panneau à l entree d interdiction de chien de compagnie je pense que c est pour le gazon du golf. N avons pas testé le spa.

Un endroit splendide à l’arrière d’un resort dans un écrin de verdure. Tous services sauf électricité malheureusement. 10€ la nuit. Toilettes à disposition à côté de la réception de l’hôtel. Possibilité d’accès au spa pour 8€ par personne : piscine, jacuzzi, hamam, sauna… Parcours fléché pour enfants à la recherche des maisons des fées…

Piazzale molto vasto immerso nel verde, in piano, tranquillissimo. Ottimo!

Super stopping place just off the main road. Book in at reception, €10/nt, I paid an extra €8.50 for use of showers, pool, steam room and sauna, a real bargain. The bistro is now closed. Unfortunately, no EHU. 10-15 min walk into town but remember, it is a steep uphill return!! Very peaceful night in lovely surroundings. Really recommended.

We stayed here for a night. We had access to the leisure facilities for a 10% discount. We were able to have a drink un the hotel bar where the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a safe, secure and quiet place to park. Currently they have fresh water, grey water and cassette emptying facilities included in the €10 fee. I would 100% recommend here and will be back.

Je confirme que le vidage des cassettes de WC est bien prévu, contrairement à ce que j'ai lu dans d'autres avis. C'est certes un grand parking, mais l'environnement n'est pas désagréable. Le prix de 10€ par nuit et par véhicule, avec les services de vidange et d'eau, dans une enceinte sécurisée, me paraît un prix tout à fait raisonnable. Il n'y a pas de poubelle, il faut emporter ses déchets.

Fantastic motorhome aire close to Bantry town. Black/grey and fresh water. Massive parking area and access to hotel facilities. €10 per night. It's a thumbs up from me!

Nice quiet place to park, we had a great night’s sleep. Access to hotel toilets which were very clean. €9 entrance to leisure centre for swim, gym, and shower. Beautiful 20min walk into town along the bay.

Fantastic spot! All services available and loads of level parking in gorgeous grounds! Plus, very cheap use of leisure centre! Our kids loved the trails around their parkland and such a lovely spot to stay. There's usually no hassle popping into Bantry and getting free parking on the square so this a a lovely base to sleep in.

1,7 km du centre, réalisable en promenade. Emplacement géant avec un fond de circulation mais calme malgré tout, un peu triste par rapport au jardin magnifique de l'hôtel, eau à disposition

Stayed in the Westlodge Bantry couple of weeks ago and found it great. We had parked up in the town of Bantry but found it very noisy and there was a few people slapping the Van which unnerved my wife a little. The Pitch in the Westlodge was clean and quite and very level with easy access to the town and only a 12 minute walk. The facilities of the Hotel were available to use.
