Perfect park up, spent 3 nights, able to use shower at an additional cost and 1 night had the pizzas from the bar with some nice Ale, delicious. Johnathan the manager was very hospitable. Well recommended as a base to explore local area.
The manager or owner of the hotel is a very pleasant guy. Very kind and helpful. very quiet and scenic. We were offered water if needed and they have toilets too. highly recommend this park up especially if you're visiting hill top national trust house
Absolutely incredible little place to park, cheap to park for the night and £4 to use the showers, you are even able to get food from the restaurant as a takeaway. Manager / Owner was amazing. Would definitely recommend and stay here again
Lovely peaceful surroundings with beautiful views and walks to claife viewing point and esthwaite water, next to the national trust carpark for Beatrix potters hilltop house which is just past the tower bank arms pub on the corner really enjoyed our stay ,10 pounds a night 20 mins drive to Ambleside thank you for a lovely stay
Lovely place to stay for the night. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Pizza delicious. Can pay for a shower. Next door to Hill Top Farm/Beatrix Potter. Highly recommend.
Voor de ingang van de authentieke Victoriaanse B&B is de parkeerplaats (op grind) waar een paar kleine campervans kunnen staan. De eigenaar David ontving ons vriendelijk. Op het terras met fraai uitzicht kunnen we iets drinken en eten. In een hotelkamer op de begane grond kunnen we zelfs douchen. Leuke sfeervolle overnachting in het hart van het Lake District.
Lovely location, quiet and out of the way. The owner is fantastic and very welcoming. Cheap stay(£5), with the option of showers, water and WiFi. And some fantastic views! Couldn't be better really!
Lovely spot right next to Beatrix Potters hill top, gorgeous views of Esthwaite water from the hotel terrace, very peaceful at night. £4 for a shower in the hotel and they allowed me to fill up fresh water, top notch park up
