Café-snack proposant boissons chaudes, pommes de terre au four et paninis. Quelques places de stationnement pour fourgonnettes agréables sur la route menant au parking principal (payantes et gratuites). Stationnement de nuit interdit sur le parking principal. Aires de pique-nique agréables. Parcours artistique accessible aux fauteuils roulants.
Fairholme carpark & visitors centre. Big carpark but fills quickly on bank holidays in mornings. excellent WC facility, clean. Snacks cafe for hot drinks, baked potatoes, panini's. Some nice van parking spots on the road leading up to main carpark- pay & display plus some Free. No overnight parking in main carpark. Great picnic areas. Accessible art trail for wheelchairs
Fairholme Parkplatz & Besucherzentrum. Großer Parkplatz, der an Feiertagen morgens schnell voll ist. Ausgezeichnete, saubere Toilettenanlage. Im Café gibt es heiße Getränke, Ofenkartoffeln und Panini. Einige schöne Parkplätze für Vans an der Zufahrt zum Hauptparkplatz – gebührenpflichtig und einige kostenlos. Kein Parken über Nacht auf dem Hauptparkplatz. Tolle Picknickplätze. Barrierefreier Kunstpfad für Rollstuhlfahrer.
Aparcamiento y centro de visitantes de Fairholme. El aparcamiento es amplio, pero se llena rápidamente los días festivos por la mañana. Baños excelentes y limpios. Cafetería con aperitivos para bebidas calientes, patatas asadas y paninis. Hay algunas plazas de aparcamiento para furgonetas en la carretera que lleva al aparcamiento principal (pago y exhibición), y algunas son gratuitas. No se permite aparcar durante la noche en el aparcamiento principal. Excelentes zonas de pícnic. Sendero artístico accesible para sillas de ruedas.

Parked up near Derwent Dam for a day trip — beautiful spot and only a few minutes’ walk to the water. Parking is daytime only and there are rangers around, so make sure you’ve paid. It uses RingGo, but there’s no phone signal, so definitely bring cash or coins just in case. Can get busy on nice days, but totally worth it for the views and the peaceful vibe. Would happily park there again.
