Amazing views. don't recommend in high winds and wet conditions. Extreme possibilities of getting bogged and stuck on the grass.

What an idyllic place to spend a night or two, I intended staying for one night but I loved the location so stayed ended up staying for 2. There are no bins nearby or any services but this was not a problem for me. There is the odd car that passes by but overall a very quiet place to spend your time.

Beautiful, idyllic lakeside spot with mountain views. Several pull-ins along the road, but it filled up fast even midweek (4–5 vans by 8pm) – but managed to find a spot. Super quiet overnight, no traffic till 7–8am. Great for swimming with water access down to a stony shore. Stayed the next day too—peaceful and scenic. Just watch out for midges if there’s no wind!

Au bord d’une petite route très peu passante. Le spot est magnifique au bord de la rivière mais exposé au vent. On peut y voir de nombreux cerfs.

One of the best places we stopped on the way back to Edinburgh. Super quiet and almost even! We were the only ones there.

Excellente nuit à cet endroit. À 22h30, une trentaine de biches et de cerfs nous entouraient ! Ils n'ont aucun mal pour sauter les clôtures à moutons...

This was the most amazing place we spent the night in the whole highlands. Lots of different birds around to watch. Note that there's also some mosquitoes. Please respect the nature, leave birds alone and don't leave any trash.
