À l'embarcadère des bateaux à vapeur du Loch Katrine, possibilité de passer la nuit avec branchements électriques pour £18 (arriver pendant l'ouverture du Visitor Center pour faire activer l'électricité). Pour l'instant c'est le seul service disponible avec les toilettes et le Wi-Fi en journée pendant l'ouverture du Visitor Center. Mais le projet est de créer une vraie "Aire" au sens français avec évacuations... Dans un futur proche. Belle balade à pied ou en vélo au bord du lac au départ du parking.

We paid £12 for a non-serviced pitch (which was actually a disabled space, luckily we were able to fit in sideways otherwise we would have been in the way!). Toilets & showers were clean - however the lady at the reception mentioned we hadn't paid for these but there was no option on the website to add this to the booking! She kindly let us use them anyway as they were quiet but just be aware!
£12 per night for parking with no services. Use of 24 hour toilet only. Everything closes at 5pm We were given space MH 11 which is actually a disabled space so you get plenty of dirty looks! Huge delivery lorry arrived with all of the cafe stuff crashing about with cages and tail lift early morning. We personally would not stop here again. For £12 there are much better stop overs
Arrêt pour 2 nuits , à ne surtout pas rater 12£ par nuits avec wc, douche chaude , plein d’eau. demain 32km de vélo et bateau à vapeur pour le retour. calme et serenity. tout est fermé à 17h00 , bar et accueil bateaux. on attend quand même le vidage noir et gris annoncé depuis 2017.
sanitaire homme moins propres que les femmes (pas d'eau chaude). pratique pour les balades dans le coin parking très occupé en journée mais au 1/4 plein ce soir beaucoup de midge
Emplacement sur parking chouette pour y passer la nuit. Des tables de pique nique face au loch sont disponibles. Ainsi que des toilettes et une douche un peu cachée dans les toilettes handicapés. On peut réserver sur Pitch up si le gift shop est fermé pour 12£ sans électricité. Les toilettes n'avaient plus de PQ. Eau chaude au robinet et eau froide dans une borne fontaine dehors face au loch.
Haben dort eine Nacht verbracht. Sehr ruhig, saubere WCs und auch eine Dusche vorhanden. Leider aber auch hier einige Midgets aufgrund des Wetters.

Staff are superb and friendly. Water and electric points in some bays as well. The walk around the lake is stunning. We rang on the morning we wanted to stay but I can imagine in peak periods it’s well used. Just the one shower but it was a big room and clean….
Tremendously crowded parking area. Spots 6-9 are so sloped that they cannot be leveled with our large ramps. There’s no way they should be considered practical to be “motorhome” capable in any way. If we had not bounced our way down the twisting narrow road for so long to get here, we’d have given up our prepaid fee just to find someplace remotely comfortable and uncrowded.
The pitch cost £25 per night. We had EHU, water and a wider pitch. For £12 the pitch is smaller and no EHU but you can access water. Vehicles did not seem to be required to move during the day. There is no place to empty grey waste (we already knew there was no elsan). Lovely stop, great walks and we throughly enjoyed the boat trip too.
£12/night for non electric for lovely quiet location. Loads of toilets available although no shower or washing up that we could find. Little cafe on site and gorgeous walks nearby. Watch out for midges though!! You’re right next to a loch and surrounded by woodland so they will hunt you down at dusk and dawn if there’s no wind!!
Turned up this evening. £25. Hot shower. Toilet access. Really friendly. Great viewpoint out the back. Quiet in the evening. Will come again.
A great private aire. Wi-Fi, EHU and rubbish disposal available. Quiet at night. Flat carpark. Good shower facilities. We enjoyed breakfast at the cafe. Road gritted in the evening and early morning whilst we were there. Lovely view and walks around the loch. Would use again.

Staying here for 2 nights in my 7.3 meter Motor home .very quiet and peaceful £25 a night with electricity going on the boat trip later great location for cycling and walking
fantastic value for money. £10 per night £5 per stay for access to a decent hot shower. £25 per night services included; electricity, water, etc. bays aren't 100% level. Friendly staff, cafe and gift shop on site. Ideal base to explore the Trossachs. I look forward to returning.

Il y a de l'eau et un toilette est ouvert pendant la nuit. En arrivant avant 17h il est également possible d'avoir accès à une douche et l'électricité. Très calme la nuit mais animée le matin dès l'ouverture des départs en bateau. Vous pourrez directement partir en rando ou a vélo (location dispo) depuis le parking.
It's a carpark with no views and no water or toilet disposal. The cafe is rubbish. Better going to Stronachlachar for views and better facilities.

Nice location, but we arrived late (after work) and we're not told the code for the toilets. They were locked, so we couldn't use them. Also couldn't find our space, there was no marking on the ground that matched our booking. Ended up just parking in a space in the corner and left early in the morning. Not worth the cost. The toilet code should be sent by email, they knew we were arriving late.
Normaler Parkplatz, einige davon mit Stromanschluss. Waren Ende Mai 23 hier. Haben 15 € ohne Stromanschluss bezahlt. Empfanden wir für einen normalen Parkplatz inklusive nutzen von nur Toilette und Dusche zu teuer. Damen und Herrentoiletten waren geschlossen. Die Behinderten Toilette inklusive Dusche wurde somit von allen genutzt. die dort einen Platz hatten, Zugang zur Toilette und Duschen mit Code. Waren am Wochenende dort. Am frühen Nachmittag war es sehr voll, abends sind dann die Tagestouristen alle weg. Aber super Ausgangslage für Wanderung am Ben Katrine und am Ben A‘an.
Druk. Vol met bussen. De voorzieningen waren slecht te vinden. We zijn snel weggereden voor een ander verblijf.

Finally I've got time to write a few words. I was there in August, planned for a simple night, then I had problems with the van. Because of that I had the chance to meet and spend my time with two of the most amazing women in scotland! Staying there for £10 per night without electricity. Clean toilets and shower. In the Café they made me a vegan sandwich with crisps and salad. I will come back!!!
Excellent parking pour dormir la nuit. Toilette et douche a proximité. (Douche payante avec code) Très peu de bruit la nuit, mais vers 9-10h les cars pour visiter le Loch en bateaux arrivés.
Parked for 1 night, took the opportunity to hook up to electrics, and also paid the extra to use the toilets and showers, cost £25 for the night. Happy with that beautiful setting, lovely walk around the lock. Pitches for 8 motorhomes, cafe and restaurant onsite, not tried though. Able to fill water tank, but no grey water or chemical waste facilities, that’s the only negative.
Wifi network "Visitor" seems to be turned off outside office opening hours, hardly any mobile reception. Best to pay the £10 overnight fee (if no services required) at reception because the machines only have hourly options. Reception also knows which of the green motorhome places are available and not booked.
Asphalt pitches as you stay on a parking lot with all the other cars and buses visiting the lake. Literally only one shared shower. Toilets are public toilets. No access to the lake.
Leicht schräge asphaltierte Parkfläche, 25£ pro Nacht mit Strom ( 5£ für Duschen und Toilette, die öffentlichen Toiletten sind ab 05:00 PM bis 09:00 AM abgeschlossen) Sehr schöner asphaltierter Spazierweg am Loch entlang. Gut geeignet für Fahrräder.

I would give 5 stars if not for the midges. really nice place we hired bikes here and went on the boat. The breakfast at the cafe was beutiful. would recommend this for a short stay. Disabled access is OK.
There’s no need to book if you don’t need a hook up. Staff are all great. Wonderful breakfast at the café. Gorgeous walk along the side of the loch. Quiet night with no traffic. Good value.
Stayed over one night on 28/05/21 lovely place to stop over, plenty of walks and bike ride along the Loch. Toilets are open during the day but you have to buy a pass (£5) to use the toilets and showers after 5pm, if you wish to do this you need to include it with your booking which is now £20 per night, this includes hook up and water, there is nowhere to empty toilet cassettes. Cafe serves a great breakfast at a reasonable price. You need to prebook this site at least a day in advance, so no just turning up.
£15 to park for 24hrs in the carpark or book one of the motorhome spaces in advance which have some water stands and hookup for a extra £3, lovely place but the restaurant and cafe close at 17:30 and there is nothing else close by, midges are really bad in the summer months

Très bien pour faire le circuit à vélo et prendre le bateau. Très très calme pour dormir. Le soir il n’y a plus personne sur la parking hormis quelques camping-cars. La journée, il n’y a pas vraiment de places dédiées aux camping-cars cela peut donc être compliqué de se garer.

Excellent overnight spot with electrical hook up and private shower and toilet facilities just for the motorhomers. There is no toilet waste disposal but you can get fresh water and drop grey waste. 20% discount on the boat trips on the loch as well, and they're well worth doing.
Parking basique mais calme parfait pour prendre le bateau le matin.
This is a fine spot and could be a trail blazer but.....As from Spring 2019 the fee will be £22 per night and include electricity, water, waste disposal, shower and wifi. It is a pity that the Trust who runs this place have chosen the expensive route to providing an "aire" like service. Much better to have kept the price low and offered a menu. For this money you can be on a level campsite.
