Nicht zu empfehlen. Große Camper (alles über VW Bus Größe) sind hier nicht erwünscht. Die Polizei schaut auch des Öfteren vorbei. Die Gesetze für Wildcampen wurden Anfang 2025 deutlich verschärft und es drohen hohe Bußgelder.
Beau parking directement sur la plage dans un village touristique et accueillant. Plusieurs places de parking et terrain assez plat. Il y a plusieurs douches sur la plage qui sont ouvertes toute l'année. Dans le village, il y a plusieurs tavernes et deux supérettes. Nous y étions en mars, c'était super mais définitivement en haute saison et trop chaotique. Hautement recommandé !
Beautiful parking directly on the beach in a tourist and welcoming village. Various parking spaces and quite flat. On the beach there are various showers that work all year round. In the village there are various taverns and two mini markets. We were there in March, it was great but definitely in high season and too chaotic. Highly recommended!
Schöner Parkplatz direkt am Strand in einem touristischen und einladenden Dorf. Zahlreiche Parkplätze und recht eben. Am Strand gibt es mehrere Duschen, die das ganze Jahr über geöffnet sind. Im Dorf gibt es verschiedene Tavernen und zwei Minimärkte. Wir waren im März dort, es war toll, aber definitiv in der Hochsaison und zu chaotisch. Sehr empfehlenswert!
Hermoso aparcamiento directamente en la playa en un pueblo turístico y acogedor. Varias plazas de aparcamiento y bastante llano. Hay varias duchas en la playa que están abiertas todo el año. En el pueblo hay varias tabernas y dos mini mercados. Estuvimos allí en marzo, fue genial pero definitivamente en temporada alta y demasiado caótico. ¡Muy recomendable!
Bellissimo parcheggio direttamente in spiaggia in un paesino turistico e accogliente. Vari posti per parcheggiare e abbastanza in piano. Sulla spiaggia ci sono varie docce funzionanti tutto l’anno. Nel paesino ci sono varie taverne e due mini market. Noi siamo stati a Marzo, si stava benissimo ma sicuramente in alta stagione e troppo caotico. Molto consigliato!

Batty12318/10/2025You feel safe since around 10 other campers were present in the area. Beautiful location. We went to get the bus tickets to Samaria Gorge from the bakery which was still open at 8pm. Bus leaves from Sougia at 7am and takes you to Omalos/Xyloskalo - starting point of the Samaria Gorge. The hike is 16km long to the shore of Agia Roumeli where we bought ferry tickets back to sougia leaving 5.30pm.
Corsao13/10/2025Super Platz wurde leider mit einem Holzzaun um die Hälfte verkleinert. Ca. 10 Mobile haben aber ausreichend Platz. Wir waren mitte Oktober da. War ziemlich voll. Folgen sie nicht dem Navi oder Google Maps. Die führen euch in die Irre. Am Ortsanfang links runter. Dann seid ihr richtig.
Osip13/10/2025Sehr schöner Platz direkt am Strand. Sehr offen, wer möchte kann FKK, sehr nette Camper Gemeinschaft, nette, günstige und sehr gute Tavernen und guter Ausgangspunkt zur Samariaschlucht. Sehr zu empfehlen! Danke an die Gemeinde und an die Griechen

Great place for camping, nudist section of the beach. There's no shade (just 3 small trees). We continued eastward by ferry to Sfakia. €30 per person and €10 per meter of motorhome length.

C'est beaucoup plus qu'un parking. Nous étions 6 camping-cars alignés le long de la plage, et il y avait encore de la place. Un peu avant d'arriver sur cet endroit, il y a des campeurs en tente sur la plage, avec WC et douche de plage. Egalement, une très belle taverne sur place.

Een fantastisch mooie plek aan het strand. Er staat inderdaad een bord, maar veel campers, tentjes en auto's. Ondanks dat er veel staan, erg rustig. Douche op het strand verderop. Mooie baai. Erg gezellig en vriendelijk dorpje langs de kust. Je kunt met de bus naar de Samariakloof. Helaas was hij nu nog dicht. Latere opening dit jaar ivm slechter weer afgelopen week. Twee heerlijke nachten gehad

A nice place, but there is a big sign ”please don’t park there it’s for nature” and an arrow for a place they want people to park. Anyway seems that nobody cares, about 10 german campers in a row.so that’s that.
