Stayed here last night. Ok with 6.5 m van but we were the only one there. Overnight/24 hr price is now 12 pounds but still good for middle of village

Small paid for car park with space for 5 vehicles. Large motorhomes might struggle to manoeuvre down the entrance and within the car park. Website states that overnight campervan stays are welcomed. Right in the centre of Grasmere village. Great spot for enjoying the village.

Auf der Website steht, dass Übernachtungen mit Wohnmobilen willkommen sind. Direkt im Zentrum des Dorfes Grasmere. Toller Ort, um das Dorf zu genießen.

2Shooze03/08/2025Arrived Thursday evening in a campervan with 4 spots available. Easy to pay for parking with the app, make sure you install it and register beforehand. £10 for 24 hours in the heart of Grasmere. Perfect quiet and hidden park-up with a pub 2 mins walk away.

Perfect spot, the lakes were so busy due to the heatwave and I expected the spot to be full but when we arrived there was only one other car. A second van arrived later. Really quiet over night. Public toilets nearby open at 9am , 60p cashless charge. Tweedies bar next door has a band on Friday nights. Will use again.

Good idea to pay by the app but it's quite easy to do. Quiet little spot and nice and level, would recommend!
MarkDarby11/04/2025Great little spot, not very big but ideal for our Vw Transporter. Bang in the middle of the town with restaurants and bars (hotels) toilets available, short walk 9am- 6pm
