Only rating one star for people to be able to see this spot is no longer available for overnight stay. Obvious signs were being put up just as we wanted to park up. Otherwise a good spot if you’re visiting the cafe or wanting to hike.

Stayed here on a Sunday evening - bank holiday Monday afternoon. It was quiet overnight and was flat ground. Went on a walk to the abandoned quarry which I’d recommended the next morning, returned at 1pm and it was fairly busy in the car park
stayed for a night, turning carpark was on the left before the main one. convenient stop off and reasonably quiet.
Stayed here for one night. Free parking next to a cafe. Just off the main road but not very noisy until the morning. No facilities except bin but good place to rest before driving again
