Passo Giau. Départ de chemin. Assez large pour ne pas gêner un éventuelle utilisateur de ce chemin. Et assez grand pour s'écarter un peu de la route. Aucun service directement sur place. Mais le Passo Giau est 250 m au-dessus avec son resto. Idéal pour un départ de balade matinale. Attention les nuits sont fraîche à 2000 m d'altitude. Le point de vue est superbe. Et la nuit est très calme. Le parking en face du resto est interdit au camping-car la nuit. On peut y mettre 2 fourgons a peu près plat.
Passo Giau. Departure of path. Broad enough not to bother a potential user of this path. And big enough to deviate a bit from the road. No service directly on site. But the Passo Giau is 250 m above with its restaurant. Ideal for a morning walk departure. Beware the nights are cool at 2000 m altitude. The view is superb. And the night is very calm. Parking in front of the restaurant is forbidden to the camper at night. We can put 2 vans almost flat.
Passo Giau. Beginn des Weges. Breit genug, um einen möglichen Benutzer dieses Pfads nicht zu stören. Und groß genug, um ein wenig von der Straße abzuweichen. Kein Service direkt vor Ort. Aber der Passo Giau mit seinem Restaurant liegt 250 m darüber. Ideal für den Beginn eines morgendlichen Spaziergangs. Achtung, die Nächte sind kühl auf 2000 m Höhe. Der Blickwinkel ist hervorragend. Und die Nacht ist sehr ruhig. Nachts ist das Parken vor dem Restaurant für Wohnmobile verboten. Wir können 2 fast flache Vans unterbringen.

Nessun servizio direttamente sul sito. Ma il Passo Giau è 250 m sopra con il suo ristorante. Ideale per una partenza mattutina. Attenzione, le notti sono fresche a 2000 m di altitudine. La vista è superba. E la notte è molto calma. Il parcheggio di fronte al ristorante è vietato al campeggiatore di notte. Possiamo mettere 2 furgoni quasi piatti.

Buen sitio para dormir y hacer la ruta de cinque torri, pasamos una noche muy tranquila y muy buenas vistas.
No está nivelado,use calzos y sin problemas.
One of the best spots to sleep in the Dolomites. The views are incredible and at night (even though we were close by the road) was really quiet. The views are superb I’ll say it again. Really worth it.
El mejor sitio para pasar la noche de Dolomitas, no lo teníamos en nuestra ruta pero fue un acierto quedarnos aquí. Unas vistas increíbles. Hay varios aparcamientos a pie de carretera, en cualquiera estarás bien.
Great starting point for nice hikes and amazing views to wake up to. There can park quite some motorhomes but it can be very busy during high season (with cars that will move later); we had the park further down the road before the hike and moved here for the night.
Un lugar idílico para pernoctar. Sin duda el sitio con las mejores vistas que hemos encontrado. Además justo en el inicio de la ruta a Cinque Torri.

Une vue incroyable ! Oui il y a du monde mais personne ne s’étalent. Pas de services, normal, c’est du road trip. Idéal pour partir en rando. Nuit tranquille. Être réveillé par les cloches des vaches, un réel plaisir.
On a pris la dernière place du parking vers 18h et très bonne place car super vue mais attention quasiment toutes les places sont en pente. Pas de WC ni d’autres services et c’est donc assez sale dans le champs. Parking complètement rempli mais la circulation se calme la nuit. Pratique pour les départs de randonnée.
Absolut perfekter Ort hierfür 7 Sterne. Man kann Wanderungen direkt vom Parkplatz starten und die Aussicht ist einfach nur genial. Jetzt kommt der Punkt der nur einen Stern verdient, es ist voll und eng auf dem Parkplatz. 30% haben keine Toilette an Board und erleichtern sich in unmittelbarer Nähe, so sehen einzelne Wanderwege dann leider aus.
Best spot we had in the Dolomites ended up staying 2 nights. Restaurant is just up the road and would recommend the loop over to Cinque di Torri.

No hay servicios, pero si unas vistas espectaculares.. de lo mejorcito. Terreno más o menos llano (igual necesitas alguna calza) pero pasar la noche y hacer la ruta de las Conque Torri es divino.
Privileged place. The view is terrific! Lots of excellent hikes around. It is not level, but the places higher up are much worse. At least 10 campers fit in these days.
Jedno z nejkrásnějších míst, kde jsme kdy přespali! Jsou odsud nádherné výhledy, hned vedle je ohrada s kravičkami a koňmi. Dá se odtud vyrazit na spoustu hezkých túr a místa na parkování je tu dost. Určitě doporučuji strávit tu alespoň jednu noc!

Un lugar precioso con una vistas inolvidables! No hay servicios, pero es todo gratuito, merece mucho la pena pasar unas noches. Desde por la tarde el tráfico disminuye y hay mucha tranquilidad.
Vue magnifique, nous étions plusieurs, un peu de pente mais ça va, parfait pour visiter Cortina d’Ampezzo ou pour randonnée, nous avons utilisé notre chauffage car il faisait moins de 5°C
hatten Mitte November eine sehr kalte aber wunderschöne Nacht hier, gemeinsam mit 3 anderen Fahrzeugen. Der Sonnenaufgang hier oben war absolut magisch !
Bodenfreiheit für die Auffahrt zum Parkplatz schadet nicht.
Nachts absolut kein Verkehr, super ruhig !
Très bon spot , avec une vue imprenable sur Passo Giau. Possible d'y aller à pied depuis cet emplacement.
Le terrain n'est pas très plat . Il faut également faire attention lors de l'arrivée à l'emplacement beaucoup de camping car racle le fond de caisse. Vraiment un endroit magnifique.
Eine wirklich tolle Aussicht. Der Platz ist leicht schief und bei der Einfahrt muss man aufpassen wo man am besten auf den Parkplatz drauf fährt. Sehr toll, dass das freistehen hier so geduldet wird.
Super schöne Aussicht allerdings etwas unebener Stellplatz was uns jedoch für eine Nacht im T5 nicht gestört hat. Ende August ist der gesamte Pass sehr überlaufen. Der Parkplatz und alle anderen davor waren voll. Eine Anreise zwischen 17:00 und 18:00 scheint mir Sinnvoll, dann sollten die Tagesbesucher/Wanderer weg sein.
une vue magnifique ! nous y sommes restés deux nuits tellement nous avons aimé. nous sommes loin d'être seuls, mais on oublie vite ses voisins face à ces alpages superbes. très difficile d'être à plat par contre. une arrivée après 17h me semble le mieux pour avoir une place en haute saison
Se avete la fortuna di trovare posto è una location insuperabile dove sostare e dormire per panorami e quiete nonostante la vicinanza alla strada. ottimo per inoltrarsi nei vari sentieri che partono da qui .
Wunderbarer Platz mit unbeschreiblich schöner Aussicht. Tagsüber viele Fahrzeuge auf der Strasse aber am Abend wird es sehr ruhig. Schlafen und aufwachen mit Kuhklocken, friedlicher geht kaum. Die Einfahrt zum Platz hat eine grosse Furche deshalb aufpassen, ging aber ohne Probleme mit dem T6.
Prachtige spot om te overnachten. Er zijn redelijk wat parkeerplaatsen maar de grond is niet zo effen. Ook opletten met mobilehomes, de grond heeft enkele grote/diepere putten. Er zijn wc’s boven aan het hutje. Heel rustig in de nacht. Overdag wordt het overspoeld door wandelaars die vanaf hier vertrekken. Hele mooie tracks die vanaf hier beginnen. Een echte aanrader voor één of meerdere nachtjes.
Nocowałem w tym miejscu już 4 raz piękne widoki . Rano dość głośno od aut ale wiadomo takie miejsce chętnie uczęszczane po ostatnich ulewach wymyte kamienie trzeba uważać parkując żeby nie zaczepić podwoziem
Amazing place to stay with incredible views & very close to trail routes. Arrived at 9am and managed to get the last spot & stayed until the following morning. As mentioned in other comments, just be careful of the ditch when entering the car park!!
Great spot. Close to several hiking trails. The view is stunning :) NOTE: Be careful when driving to the site, as there's a deep ditch between the road and the site. It can also get a bit cold at night, even in summer ;) enjoy this beautiful spot and keep it clean.
Одна из лучших локации в доломитак. ни надо никуда лазить по горам (хотя треккинги тут тоже есть). можно взять стульчик отоити от всех сесть и наслаждаться видами))
A great place to spend a night high up with great views and great hikes. No services, can pay to use the toilets at the refuge during opening hours (shut at 5pm). We were parked with 8 others overnight.
Vistas increíbles, zona algo inclinada pero merece la pena, lo peor es la entrada porque hay una hendidura y hay que pasar despacio para no dejar el bajo de la furgo allí. A 350m andando del passo. La noche es muy tranquila pero a partir de las 5 empieza a llegar gente y se llena todo. Ningun servicio claro.
Hemos pasado una noche perfecta y tranquila. Justo delante del inicio de la excursión para 5 torri. Lugar maravilloso, pero id preparados para el frío.
Pasamos una noche allí. Por el dia muy frecuentado por gente y motos, la noche en cambio es muy tranquila, junto con otras autocaravanas. Vistas increíbles.
Ci abbiamo passato due notti per varie escursioni fotografiche di macro e paesaggistica. Vista spettacolare, nel weekend di giorno passano molte moto e auto ma poi dalla sera silenzio assoluto. Non ci sono servizi ma la vista ripaga di tutte le mancanze.
Le meilleur spot qu’on ai fait lors de notre itinéraire. Un peu en pente mais la vue est à couper le souffle et en vaut largement le coup! Très calme la nuit. Je dirais qu’il y a place pour 6-7 camping car en fonction de comment on se met. Attention fin mai la nuit était à 4 degrés donc très froid.
Drove up after fresh snow. Parking space not cleared and no sign of it. No options to park up here currently but you can pull over if there’s not too much people near the refuge to look around and take photos.
Stayed there 05.12. The views are spectacular, the panorama of the valley is definetely worth it. It was quiet during the night with little to none trafic. We had no problems.
Stayed 30.09. What a spot, no facilities at all but the views are absolutely insane. Lots of hiking paths. Very peaceful night, didn’t notice any road noise although hikers start early. 4 others with me here & another 6 or so in the parking place above. Beware there is a little drop into both locations & I witnessed a motorhome floor its backend. Ps last photo is most accurate, others are dated

Per essere un parcheggio su un passo ho dato il massimo delle stelle perché il paesaggio che offre questo posto è qualcosa di magico!Uno dei miei posti preferiti in assoluto!A contatto con la natura, a 2236 m con cavalli e mucche.Lì vicino partono i sentieri per le camminate.Strada un po’ impegnativa sé si passa da Colle santa Lucia. Meglio arrivare da Cortina.Consiglio di arrivare verso le 18.
Ottima vista, pendenza lieve che si aggiusta facilmente con le pietre che si trovano sul luogo. Passaggio di auto frequente anche di notte, soprattutto in periodo di vacanze. Perfetto per raggiungere i sentieri che partono dal passo di Giau
Heel erg mooi, tussen de koeien en paarden. Wel erg druk, het is soms wachten tot er een plekje vrijkomt. Let op; de weg is erg ongelijk als je de parkeerplaats oprijd dus met campers en dergelijke erg voorzichtig zijn!
Emplacement top pour une vue imprenable pour le lever du soleil. Bondé la journée. Il faut arriver vers 17h quand les gens partent et c’est nickel pour ce garer et passer la nuit avec les chevaux et les vaches.
Vista spettacolare!! si cena con a fianco mucche e cavalli. Posti abbastanza piani e pur essendo sulla strada, si è ben rientranti senza alcun pericolo. La sera basta salire qualche metro e si vede il tramonto e la mattina si ha l'alba di fronte!! semplicemente unico!!
Dormir aquí un dels millors llocs. Entre vaques i cavalls hem pogut descansar i aixecar-nos d'hora per anar a fer la ruta circular. No hi ha serveis però vistes espectaculars
Perfect place to stay with a beautiful view. Free of charge for sleeping, it's not allowed to camping.
Parking is next to pasture, horses and cows often come close and you can pet them.
Lots of hiking trails with varying difficulty levels so everyone can find something for them.
Buen parking para dormir en el Passo Giau aunque el firme no está demasiado plano, vigilar si no vas con calzador de ruedas. Pocas plazas pero mucha tranquilidad. Buen sitio para iniciar rutas.
Parking con vistas alucinantes al lado de la ruta, bastante inclinado y con mucho movimiento desde la mañana. Durante la noche hay poco ruido, solo se escuchan las campanas de las vacas. Hay un Refugio con comida a 250 mts que cierra 17hs, a unos km se encuentra Refugio Fedare que abre hasta las 22hs y su comida es alucinante.
Sitio casi perfecto, los únicos inconvenientes son la irregularidad del terreno y que está al lado de la carretera (durante el día pasa un volumen alto de vehículos). La vista es preciosa y la noche es tranquila. Ideal para hacer el trekin.
Super Platz, liebe Camper ohne Toilette und Wanderer, wenn ihr schon überall hin Scheissen müsst dan grabt doch vorher bitte ein Loch und nimmt eure kack Papiere mit. Ich kann es nicht mehr sehen!
Endroit exceptionnel,lever de soleil mémorable. Nuit très calme,en retrait de la route qui commence à s'animer vers 8h. Nous y étions en septembre,il commence à faire froid autour de 0 degré.

Super spot! Wij zijn hier heen gereden om de volgende dag een goede foto van de berg te kunnen maken en een hike te starten. Onverharde parkeerplaats net over de top. Stonden veel meer campers. Ligt beetje schuin. Sta vroeg op om de eerste zon op de berg te zien schijnen. Geen voorzieningen verder.
Durant tota la pujada al coll és troben varis llocs per pernoctar però des de dalt les vistes són espectaculars! Nit tranquila sense massa soroll de cotxes, al matí ja hi ha mes moviment.
Superb place! Great view, quite big and flat. Sun from the early morning, which is great in autum. Toilettes in restaurant for 1E (or you can buy a drink), about 5-10min walk.
Increíble lugar para pasar la noche e iniciar ruta. Las vistas son maravillosas. Dormimos una noche con AC, tranquila. Durante el día pasan cantidad de coches. Sin servicios. Gratuito.
Stellplatz direkt an der Passstraße, ca. 100m unter der Passhöhe. Hier steht kein Verbotsschild, aber tagsüber von Wanderern belegt, ausserdem reger Motorrad und Auto Verkehr. Ab 18:00 Uhr wird es ruhiger und man kann die Nacht über entspannt schlafen. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön, gute Wandermöglichkeit. Toiletten im Hotel auf der Passhöhe gegen Gebühr, ansonsten kein Service.
Für eine Nacht ok.
Lloc increïble, vistes espectaculars!
El lloc està ple de cotxes, que fan parades curtes per fer fotos. Sempre es pot trobar lloc si s'espera una estona i sinó venint de nit hi ha lloc. Al matí es poden fer moltes excursions.
Points positifs : vue extraordinaire, peu de passage sur la route la nuit, gratuit, proche du départ de Croda da Lago
A prendre en compte : terrain inégal par endroit (cales nécessaires), très fréquenté (venir tôt pour une place), bruits champêtres (cloches de vaches, chevaux).
Place pour 7-8 véhicules. On recommande !
New road to Passo Giao from both sides. Very quiet place to spent the night. A little sloppy, but the view is amazing. There is no snow and no sign for campers.

Impresionante!!! Las mejores vistas que uno puede tener. Tenemos una furgoneta pequeñita, no se que tal subiría una mas grande... El sitio es bastante llano, rodeado de montañas, pero bastante expuesto al aire, aunque nosotros apenas tuvimos. Apenas pasan coches, por la noche ni uno. Pernoctamos muy tranquilos. Merece las 5 estrellas!!!
Si vous aimez la nature et que la fraîcheur matinale ne vous dérange pas, vous êtes à la bonne place. Spot magnifique un coucher de soleil somptueux. On est presque au paradis tant c'est beau.
Precioso lugar, para despertarse con vistas inolvidables. Dormimos muy bien teniendo en cuenta que era temporada alta. Muy recomendado y desde el lugar salen rutas preciosas.
