Brilliant stop over, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and next to a field, very quiet and peaceful. The host Paul, was very welcoming and friendly. A short walk across the field into Amble. Would definately recommend

Un distributeur automatique de lait, de beurre et de milkshakes se trouve au bout de la rue (Hauxley Farm). À seulement 30 minutes en voiture du terminal ferry DFDS Seaways. The town of amble is a 10min walk, the closest pub is 7min walk (Brewis) and 15min walk to the local beaches. There is a vending machine selling milk, butter and milkshake at the end of the street (Hauxley farm). Only 30min drive from DFDS seaways ferry terminal. Call or email for availability. Great stayover. Paul the host is a top guy very very helpful. Close to Amble and a dog friendly area if that's your thing. Short stroll to the pub. Quiet cul de sac next to an open field. Would I stay again 10/10.
JohnShazVan09/08/2025Very helpful, lovely micro brewery nearby with good food. Short walk to the beach.. the house is at the end of a call Dee suck so very quiet. I would definitely recommend it as a stopover.. you could use the garden and table and chairs.

Very quiet and great for getting into the town and accessing the beach, it seemed a little strange to sleep on someone’s drive. Bit pricey £17 but did the job.
pops29/08/2024Great little stopover for two nights, lots of walking and a visit to Amble. pubs and shops nearby. Although our hosts were away and not on site everything was explained, very quiet an peaceful place to stay
