Brilliant stopover - by the road but very peaceful. Super friendly owner - even left the toilets open for us overnight. We were the only van there on our visit, but very busy with locals and tourists the next morning. Fantastic breakfasts! Slightly sloping, but highly recommended.

Not much I can add, this is just as wonderful as all the other reviews say it is. We had a peaceful night, the staff at the cafe were friendly and helpful and my husband said the cooked breakfast was the best he'd ever had. Thank you Nook Farm

Lovely and very welcoming. Great location, great cafe, great views. £5 pay in the cafe. Toilets are open all night. Lots of local walks and only a short distance from the Pennine way, Alston and North Tyne Railway. Loved it. Keep it tidy and be respectful. X

Super stopover - thank you! Level car park in beautiful countryside. A short walk up to Epiacum, the Roman hill fort. Quiet night followed by excellent breakfast in the cafe.

Lovely little place. We used it as a stopover on way back from Scotland. Children loved seeing the sheep. Toilet facilities with hot and cold water. Looking forward to breakfast from the shop in the morning!

What a gem. Super friendly staff and good food. We had the carpark to ourselves and the night was pitch black and clear, perfect for stargazing through the sky light of our motorhome…

Absolutely fantastic stopover! Ultra quiet and pitch black. It doesn’t get much better than this. £5 and with water and toilets. One of the best we have stopped at. Thank you.

Good level site for many campervans. Was here alone for one quiet night stopover in late December. Clean toilets left unlocked at night including disabled, with hot and cold water. Short walk up the feild to the site of a Roman fort, good views. £5 per night.

Stayed here Friday night but due to the fact it was such a nice place to park up etc we came back and stayed a second night. Such nice people, nice food etc. nice walk around the Roman fort that belongs to the farm, this includes some great history posted around the site, and also a nice walk down by the river and narrow gauge railway into Alston. we highly recommend this as a stop over.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Kleiner Shop, der viele regionale Spezialitäten bereit hält. Moderate Preise, auch im Cafe. Das Übernachten wird mit 5 Pfund berechnet, bei Bedarf bleiben die Toiletten nachts auf. Klare Empfehlung !

A lovely place to stay, great views and very close to Roman fort walk. Toilets are open if you tell them you are staying - we arrived late and luckily someone else had pitched up earlier. Only £5 and great breakfast and coffee served after 9am. Would recommend!

This is a lovely spot to stay the night. It’s a farm shop and cafe and you park in the car park. Great food served here till 4pm. It is £5 to stay the night with hard standing. Pay in shop. May need levelling blocks. There are nice clean toilets that are open all night when people are staying, bins and a water tap. It’s very peaceful at night but busy with motorbikes in the day. 10/10
