A great spot! Felt really safe as it was well lit and there was CCTV. There are gates at the entrance but they don’t seem to close them overnight so we were able to walk into the centre (5mins) to a pub. Another van was parked up at the car park higher up which had lovely views across the lough. Toilets were open and although they weren’t the best it was great to have some available.

I would not recommend right now. The car park is full of works vans and half the car park is closed off. Impossible to manoeuvre!! Great location and lovely walks but could just park in the main car park more comfortably.
Quiet night here on a Friday night and only van there. Good play park. Didn’t spot the toilets but apparently they are there just up from the lower carpark. Close to town where there are plenty of bars etc within easy walking. Car park is a bit sloping but manageable.
A very safe place to stay for the night, we would recommend. Had CCTV and lights for extra security and allocated placed for motor homes. A little bit busy in the morning, but no complaints from us!
Great spot, very peaceful and quiet, short walk to lake and many trails for walking and cycling. Exceptional play park for those with children.
Stayed here a few times now. Nice and quiet at night. Short walk into town. Nice walks around the lake with water sports. Toilets a short walk up from carpark. No other facilities.
Nice parking, no shade. Pleasant walks, info board for town walk. Lake and play-park well-used. Lively wee town.
