If a small camper van great. Over 3 tons expect a ?100 fine. Plenty of signs on all roads leading to the village.
J'ai séjourné ici la nuit dernière et c'était tellement calme et paisible. Un seul autre camping-car mais de nombreuses places de parking. Toilettes ouvertes de 9h à 17h pour 30p - très propres. National Trust House et café ouverts pour le petit-déjeuner et à 5 minutes à pied du bar Red Lion qui propose une cuisine délicieuse et de la bière locale.
Stayed here last night and it was so quiet and peaceful. Only one other campervan but loads of car parking spaces with a maximum length of 5,5 (stone wall behind). Penalty for parking outside the parking slots is 100£. Toilets open from 9 til 5 for 30p - very clean. National trust house and cafe open for breakfast and 5 min walk to red lion bar which had lovely food and local beer.
Habe hier letzte Nacht übernachtet und es war so ruhig und friedlich. Nur ein anderes Wohnmobil, aber jede Menge Parkplätze bis maximal 5,5m Länge durch Mauern begrenzt (Strafe für das Parken außerhalb der Parkbucht 100£). Toiletten von 9 bis 17 Uhr für 30 Pence geöffnet – sehr sauber. National Trust House und Café zum Frühstück geöffnet und 5 Minuten zu Fuß zur Red Lion Bar, die leckeres Essen und lokales Bier hatte.

Rab_Armour17/10/2025Fantastic little spot, very accessible for everything in Culross. Very quiet in the evening. £100 fine signs a little intimidating and not sure anything over 6 metres would not stick out into the car park too much and possibly incur a fine?

We stayed one night 30/8. Had a peaceful night. Wardens do patrol here. They told us that parking over the side white lines are what they will give a ticket for. The public loos are out of order, there are signs on the doors. The loos at the NTS cafe open at 10am.

Lovely and peaceful. Only a few cars and Campervans overnight in a big car park right on the Forth. Toilets open 9-5 and 30p cash/card. Great village and had a lovely dinner in the Red Lion. Don’t park in the east car park as it has a sign for no overnight parking but the west car park is ok

nous n'avons pas dormi mais semble calme. par contre arnaque sur les toilettes : nous avons payé (homme et femme), le paiement est bien passé mais les wc étaient fermés à clé et nous n'avons pas pu les utiliser (pendant les heures d'ouverture !). j'ai fait réclamation mais aucune réponse. Les seuls wc payants après un road trip de 15 j en Ecosse et impossible de les utiliser !!!!

Definitely not quiet with some people in a car hearing music (starting around 10:30pm) and fully crowded with campervans and bigger motorhomes joining in the earlier to late evening. Unfortunately a lot of longer motorhomes (over 5,5/6m) who can‘t fit in the parking slots are occupying four to five normal spaces. I think if it’s going on like this, there will be a „no overnight“ sign soon.

Brilliant spot right beside the Firth of Forth in the beautiful, historic and very picturesque village of Culross. Very quiet at night but does get busy in the morning. At weekends a taco van pops up over the road beside the Culross Stables and does some really delicious tacos. What's not to like!

Am heutigen Sommersonntag tagsüber viele PKW, abends fast leer, nachts Stille. Stellplätze etwa 5,50 m lang, der 8m-Kollege neben uns blockierte fast die halbe Durchfahrt. Toiletten für 30p am Spielplatz, dort auch Trinkwasserspender, kleine Kanister passen. Radweg am Ufer in beide Richtungen. Culross selbst muss man als Outlanderfan vlt. gesehen haben, mich selbst hat es nicht so beeindruckt.
NinaSch080507/07/2025Der Stellplatz ist ein WoMo-Parkplatz mit vielen Stellplätzen. Wir kamen am Sonntagabend an, da war noch reichlich Platz. Es ist relativ ruhig, der Blick aufs Wasser schön und der Weg ins Dörfchen kurz. Auf den Schienen neben dem Platz fuhr kein Zug während wir hier waren. > Culross ist Outlander-Drehort

Joli village à visiter avec beaucoup de places sur ce stationnement calme et avec vue ! Nous avons passé une bonne nuit et pu stationner notre Camping-Car de 7 m sans problème. 2 ou 3 petits cafés ouverts en haute saison et les visites des jardins du château et du palace valent de détour .

Seems ok but parking spaces short and no verges. View ruined by fencing. Red lion pub ace but make sure you book in advance if want me. Small haddock and chips with side under a tenner. Tennants £4.90. Ok for a stop to go for a walk around village.

Super, dass man so nah in der Stadt stehen kann und die Leute super freundlich sind. Leider haben wir im Pub ohne Reservierung keinen Platz mehr bekommen, aber es sah toll aus :)

Wir haben hier unsere erste Nacht in Schottland super ruhig verbracht. Mülleimer standen genügend zur Verfügung. Leider war das Pub so voll, dass kein Platz mehr war. Also Tipp: reservieren! Drin sah es richtig gut aus. Wir würden wieder kommen. :)

dormi cette nuit, de la place pour 3 camping cars long, sinon place voiture. amende si on dépasse les lignes... belle vue, un peu bruyant le soir et le matin, mais la nuit assez tranquille. Le restaurant red lion est délicieux.

Great place to stay right in the centre, visit to the Red Lion pub is a must, and a good walk around the little back streets and public garden is also highly recommended. Very quiet and peaceful, occasionally the bus passes but that is no problem.

Really lovely spot. Toilets nearby. Open between 9 and 5. 30p cashless and coin option. Bins. No showers. Stayed a Thursday night and was really quiet. Some noise from buses driving through the car park. Overall good spot! Safe.

We parked up here yesterday and spent the night. Parking Space is fine for our 5.4m Layla. A beautiful sunset over the Firth of the Forth, quiet spot for a restful night. Highly recommend a meal at the villages Red Lion Inn, delicious food. Best book a table as it is small and rather busy! it's also dog friendly. This morning we took a donder around the village and up to Culross Abbey. 5*

We Spent a Monday night here,no other vans in the car park. It’s very quiet with just the odd dog walker passing. The bays are small and with a 8m van we struggled to park. We decided to stop at the west side of the car park and had no problems. The local pub is first class for food and drink. Being close to the national trust village is a bonus. Well worth the stop overnight

entramos con nuestra aurocaravana de 7 m pero fue imposible aparcar ya que las plazas son muy pequeñas y estan pegadas a un muro. Para una camper de 5.5m si seria una opción. Fuimos al parking al otro lado del pueblo y ahi no tuvimos problema en aparcar

Goede plek als je Culross wilt bezoeken. Erg rustig 's nachts. Er zijn toiletten (£0.30) en een drinkwater punt in de buurt. Je kunt te voet het middeleeuwse plaatsje Culross bezoeken. Zeker de moeite waard.

Perfecto parking gratuito para visitar Culross. Se puede dormir sin problemas. Muy cerca baño de pago pero muy barato 30p aunque cierra a las 17h. También agua potable para llenar botellas.

Parking face à la mer, très calme. Joli paysage et ponton. Aucun bruit. Nous y avons dormi une nuit. Le pub d’à côté est délicieux. Toilettes fermées la nuit.

Un parking très calme face à la mer. Des jeux pour les enfants et un point d'eau (robinet sur les cailloux de l'autre côté de la rue ). Visite du bourg et de l'abbaye à pied.

Stayed here in July 2024, after we struggle to find good spot we decided to stop here. It’s a parking lot, but very quiet at night. Be careful if you stay here on weekends, because on Sunday there is a market nearby and this parking place is very crowdy. The Red lions pub worth to visit - very good food for reasonable proces! :)
